We purchased one 8-ounce package of Trader Joe's Nova Salmon (lot [protected]) at the Trader Joe's store in Mount Pleasant, SC on Dec 17, 2024. Only several days later did we notice the sticker on the package which listed the expiration date as Jan 10, 2023. This product was sold to us almost 2 years after its expiration date.
We contacted the Mount Pleasant store on Dec 24 and we were essentially told "this kind of thing happens" without any concern or any attempt to make things right by the Trader Joe's representative.
We have always enjoyed shopping at Trader Joe's and we believe this incident does not reflect your way of doing business or treating customers. We also believe Trader Joes will want to 'make this right' and we will trust you to determine the best way to do so.
