TracFone Wireless Double billing without issuing any minutes

At 6:20 pm Igave the net10 reorder girl all the info she needed to reinstate my net10 phone. She put me on hold for a few minutes and them came back on the phone only to tell me that my visa card was no good. I called my bank and (while not giving the amount of the transaction) asked what the amounts of only my wire transfers were and they told me all of them, including one for 32.24 from net ten. I called net10 back and told them that they had my money and to give me my 300 min. or my money back. They said that they didn't have my money(wire fraud)and to call my bank back because they had it.

The next day Igot back on the phone and called Visa, ,the F.T.C. my bank to see if my money had been returned, no. But another 32.24 had been charged to my acct again, So, now we're up to 64.48 and In still don't have any airtime on my phone, the money has been taken out of my bank and it's all my fault according to the Argentina base of the company. Now that I had a costly conference call with everyone involved and the net10 people finally acknowledged that they were wrong and I am to be reimbursed within 24 hours. I'm still not a very happy camper and fill that Law Enforcement agencies should be informed of a possible wire fraud has been committed. Those people down there knew they had my money and it took me Two days to get them to admit it. I've lost Twenty hours of my own phone time and probably Two to Three hundred dollars over a principal. So, someone has to make it up to me and my lost revenue hours. someone needs to lose walmarts business or I get compensation...

Straight talk has been double billing me and giving me the run around...Teresita Armada is the lady that has been delaying me getting my money ...she says she sorry that I was right and her boss found it but still has not returned my money double billing me for 6 months.
NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR BANK CARD NUMBER PEOPLE PLEASE !

I HAVE CONTACTED THE FCC, FTC now the BBB and Attorney General & Walmart !
I dont understand how they can get away with this scam .

TracFone Wireless Did not return $20 phone card charge when faulty phone returned!

Bought c139 tracfone on2/11 from radioshack, hyannis, mass for $14.99, plus #1021355 Trac $19.99/60 min pre-paid minutes. Returned phone to Radio shack on 2/16 as defective, and received a credit for$14.99. Neither Radio Shack nor Tracfone would give me credit for @19.99 air time, even though phone was never operated, nor any minutes were spent. It was their "policy" not to refund pre-paid minutes. This seems to be a scam!

It's plainly stated on their receipts that airtime isn't refundable (even if you were too stupid to use up that airtime before returning the phone) and this is standard practice with any prepaid airtime. If you bought a car, went and put gas in it, then decided to return the car, should the car dealer refund your gas? Hint: The correct answer is HELL NO!

TracFone Wireless Exploiting people, unfair business!

Tracfone Wireless and Net10 are taking an unfair advantage, exploiting people from other countries like belice phillipines colombia argentina guatemala paying 3 dollars per hour to its workers, to do a very hard and second after second stressing job and giving workers 10 minutes brakes every 6 hours giving customer service all over the United Estates not caring for the safety or health of its workers, using another company’s name to avoid the correct payment to its workers this is why so many customers say the do not understand the representatives who answer the 1-800 number, this workers are being treated something near as slaves, and tracfone wireless is taking an unfair advantage only because the people need money demanding workers to work as if the were American citizens and paying them 3 dollars per hour while an illegal person in the US is making 8 dollars per hour, not to mention the locations of the call center or the working conditions, when representatives are asked by customers were they are located they have to say - Mr, Mrs (customers name) we are part of an international company and we assist customers within the US and overseas I am located in (country-city), however our corporate offices are located in Miami, if the workers are part of an international company how come they are not treated and paid as one, they don’t even have contract with tracfone wireless this is not right! This workers went to school, college, or learned by themselves the English treat their workers on other countries like slaves, they pay them fairly, tracfone besides of laying to the customers giving them refurbished phones as new, promising things they never do among other things, they also lie to the US and many other countries.

There is nothing I can do but if you can do something or you know somebody that can do something please do it, if need more information please let me know me email.

Hi I used to work at Tracfone as Customer Service Representative. Many people complaint about this job and let me tell you this job is not easy it demands you a lot, but at the end of the day you get used to this job. What I don't like about this job is how unfair the QA form is, I mean this company saves a lot of money paying us USD$3 per hour and the only good thing is the bonus we get for QA Performance however Tracfone forgets that we are human and they penalized for things that are important I mean if we validate information to the customer to ensure that we are understanding the issue we get penalized, if the system shows an error we get penalized for incorrect used of tools, and if we ask the customer " Is there anything else I can do for you today?" We get penalized for unnecessary questions. Every single error makes you lose your bonus and they don't care if you resolve the issue and even if the customer is happy with your assistance tracfone does not care they just penalized you even if they get a happy customer !

I think the job is under the average that people will accept. But at this time which job does not have that as the main feature. I say it is only another job under the average I would be satisfied but is acceptable (they sould pay more as they could).

well, is not the rep falt, well im some cases the rep don't know what to do, but a agent who's used to the procedures and the different kind of costumer can handle the situation, this is going to be short, the agent did nto create the company, the agent did nor create the procedure, the agent, has no choise, the system does not work, we gotta work like wizards, some custs call yelling at you, as it were your fault, but tracfone has not it's own towers reason the phone does not work, if tracfone had it's own towers as verizon does, the phone will work, we got three coverage maps the one we can check were the phone will work the most, so is preferable to buy a cdma phone ( no simcard )

I am forewarning you that I am going to start a complaint petition against your company in the state of Colorado Secretary of State, business division, BBB (better business bureau) the Colorado Attorney General, Wal Mart and anyone else who'll listen. This is get my investment $ back.

I have tried repeatedly to reactivate my LG 200C phone (ser# [protected]) ph # [protected] with a new 60 minute card purchased at Walmart on 2/06/2010 (#[protected]). I have called and/or gone on the web every day since 2/3/201 to try and activate the phone. Always an excuse (wait 24, then 48, then 72 hrs) from cust. service (ref # [protected]).

This can be resolved by reactivation and credit for the 60 minute card that I bought at Wal Mart that they tried to activate.

Whether one believes in the amount people are being paid or not does not provide an excuse to exploit consumers. A disabled lady I know bought a NET10 phone card and she asked me to assist her in helping add the 300 minute card to her cell phone. When I called to add the card time, the agent in BeLese indicated there was a problem with the phone activation and thus, I had to provide a long series of numbers to reactivate. Then, he told me there was a problem with the phone card. He said there was a record of the card being purchased by the lady at Pamida, but that the sales clerk did not validate the phone card. There are three numbers with two bar codes that facilitate a sell. There is the sells bar code, the validation number and the Airtime PIN Code beneath a surface that is scratched off after purchase. The clerk had not scanned the validation number.

All of that took about two hours between waiting to be transfered, inputting numbers, etc. Then, I took the card 30 miles to Pamida where it was purchased. That took another two hours of my time --with no result. They insisted they could not validate the card where it had already been scanned for purchase. We called Tracfone in BeLese and they said they could not allow the Airtime PIN Code without the serial number of the phone and validation of the card by Pamida.

Presently, I am writing the company to attempt to get a refund and/or to trade for another Tracfone card. If the company has record of the transaction, it should have immediately voided the disqualified card and issued a new one to the customer.

What is the customer supposed to do? It is not their fault customer service has lost sight of their role in the dispute resolution process. They seemed to want the customer to resolve their problem. Taking the time to encourge responsible behavior is important.

bought new phone speaker wont work they sent new phone and they are unable to activate sent new sim card this has been going on for over 60 days cant make calls out or receive over 20 hours with customer service so far now my days of service expired and lost 482 minutes they suck stay away

thanks gambler753.i am no longer using net 10.no matter how they have their reps spin it.10 cents a minute means10 cents a minute .not one dollar or as they say one unit a minute.as far as i'm concerned you don't get paid enough.they are deceiving their reps as well as their customers.i have to say also some times reps have very strong accents and are hard to understand on the phone.they speak the language well .i commend anyone who has conquered more than one langage.don't take their "HUH's "to heart.it's frustrating on both ends .hope your day was a good one and not crappy.reps everywhere have tough jobs.its a tough job and it takes special people to be one.not everyone can bite their tongues.good luck to you and stay strong.

Hi, i'm a Rep at Tracfone/Net10
first ROROR i would like to clear something that i always hate explaining to customers because they find it so hard to understand: net10 does charge 10 cents per minute what the phone displays is 1 unit, but since for example a 300 minute card is 30 dollars, that means that 1 minute= 10 cents therefore 1 unit customer sees is 10 cents of the money they paid for, same with SMS.

the job has it's good days and some very crap days but it pays enough, you meet nice people and you get to practice English, but when you start getting customers that can only say "DO WHAT NOW?!?!", "THE WHO?!?!?!" or "HUH?" you can only breath deeply and try not to yell at them what they usually deserve. good thing i'm out of Safelink customers that have lost their phone and are not able to provide the serial number, phone number or any relevat information to open their accounts and still have the nerve to say: "DON'T YOU HAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER?!?!?!" but anyway, on average it's a good job.

net 10 is deceptive in their adds.the add says 10 cents per call and 5 cents per text.turns out to be .50 per text and 1.00 per call.i could have just kept my trac phone since they charge .30 a text and $1.00 per call.i'm switching to verizons pre paid.at least they are up front.

TracFone Wireless Cheated and lied to me

TRACFONE Wireless, Inc. a subsidiary of America Movil. U.S. Patent No. 5,631,947 I have looked in my mannual, and on their official home page web site but find no address, who to contact other than the customer service number, [protected] They have purposely left off all information about themselves, officers of company or whatever. This should not be allowed.

I don't normally do this but this I feel so strongly about that I am sending some information to you.

My son gave me alittle phone called a TRAC phone, for Mother's day. It was one of those phones that you buy, and can use a pre-paid card on, and it would be good anywhere in the United States. The phone he gave me was faulty, and kept going out over and over losing the air time I had placed on it. The last time it went out, nothing could be brought up on it at all.

I called the company on three different occasions, each time it happened. Finally, the tech told me it was not normal this was happening over and over and the phone must be faulty. She told me to send the phone back and they would replace it. They did that. But...before they did, I asked several times if my minutes I had on the phone would be transferred to the new phone. I documented what she said and she said they would be. I had over three hundred units on it, and air time until Nov. Again, I asked her if all the minutes would be transferred over, she said they would.

She told me that when my old phone was sent back they would check the units remaining and add them to the new phone, within the month. Well, I called back and got another tech and he said, they have not been added yet, it would take a month. So I called back today, now they tell me they have no record of the 300 plus minutes, they show NO record of it, and cannot give them to me. I went from the tech to the supervisor and was on the phone for a long time. The minutes I paid for are gone, they will not compensate me, not even for good will. They got the money, and I have ended up wasting money and lost the time on the phone.

They claim I only had 120 units on it. I use the phone very seldom, only when I trave for emergency reasons, or directions locally. I had recently purchased a card for 250 units, and had time still left over, making the time come to over 300 units. They claimed security had to check the phone and retrieve the units on it. That they could not. I questioned that at the time, because when the phone keep going out, the techs were able to pull up the units and add them back on the phone until the next time.

This time the phone blanked out completely. She said when the replacement came back to send in the other phone and their security department would have to check it out, as she could not. It would take approx. 30 day. I sent the phone back, and waited. I never got my FULL time rolled over to the new phone. I called and was told they would take awhile longer. I called again and had a case number I kept referring to, and this time, I was told they cannot show I can over 300 units, but only 120 units. This is wrong. I feel I have been lied to, put off, and cheated. THEY GOT THE MONEY WHEN I BOUGHT THE CARD, and had time left over, and I am getting nothing for buying the card.

They suggested I buy another card and air time. What do I need to do to file an official complaint? This is the first time I have ever done this, but feel like they have cheated and lied to me.

My old phone A10 e totally broke I have a new tracfone Galaxy A14 5G The new phone was activated but none of the info from the old phone was transferred. Pleas transfer all the info on the old phone to the new one I am highly disabled and need you to transfer the information

while dealing with customer service about canceling my monthly charge due to the phone being destroyed, having trouble understanding agents, asked to be transferred to someone in the states and they hung up on me, boy i can hardly wait to buy more of their products

Tracfone twice inactivated my account. On 9/27/23 called CS 4 times, reps could not resolve and kept dropping the call. The 4th call, rep restored. 10/4/23 EXACT same thing. 10/5/23 rep fixed. He said someone is trying to steal my identity, applying for the safe link program, which inactivates my account. I have NEVER applied for this program.

I get a restricted call without contact Info all day long morning , noon, night I just want to block it and no one can help me not Tractfone, not Samsung...it says on Google the provider can do that pls people help me. I have been a customer of tractfone for years

I attemped to load an airtime card. On [protected], and on the 26th. I did not receive my minutes, 2 hours on the phone, 2 seperate techs, no one speaks English. They have locked me out of their app by refusing to send a code to reset it. I lost $30.00 on this non transaction.
