On 11 August 2019 at approximately 1525hrs at the St. Paul Street West store in St. Catharine's I entered the drive thru and pulled right up to the order panel.
I ordered 2 large steeped teas and 2 medium hot chocolate with 1/4 chocolate milk. All was well.
I pulled around the corner and was behind one black minivan. We waited for a couple minutes for that van to be served. I pulled forward to the service window and was met by "Ana" who stated my order was $8.85. I handed my rewards card and a $20. Ana gave me my change. Ana then began filling my tea order. My wife and I could see her. She used a partial pot of tea to make our drinks, divided evenly. No second pot was used. "Alissa" was heard to complain about my hot chocolate order, and "why did they order with chocolate milk?" Alissa seemed very annoyed.

A boy brought our hot chocolates and put them in a tray. Ana finished our tea and put them in the tray and handed it to me. In front of her I removed the lid. It was 3/4 full. I checked the other one and it was the same. Ana asked if I was waiting for something, I said I was and took the two teas out of the tray and handed them back to her and asked them to be topped up. Alissa asked angrily what I wanted. Ana told her and took the teas to fill i presumed. I asked Alissa what the problem with my order was, and she didn't respond. Ana returned and said they were out of steeped tea. I said that she could change the order to medium's teas. Alissa then said "what is the matter?" I said first she was annoyed at my order and now angry that I asked for the teas to be fixed. Alissa said she wasn't upset about my order she was upset because her "times were more than 2 minutes". I asked her if her times were more important than making the customer happy and Alissa responded that they were. I said that is a poor attitude and asked to talk to the manager. Ana looked at Alissa and Alissa said "I'm the Supervisor. " I said that makes sense, and why her times are more than 2 minutes. Alissa asked me what I said and I repeated it. Alissa asked me why that is and I said because "you have a bad attitude and are a terrible manager". Alissa again asked me to repeat myself and I said the same thing again. I asked Alissa if she cared about making customers happy and she said, "what i care about is having you leave my drive thru." I said ok and started to leave. Alissa said "Have a nice day" and picked up a paper tray and thru it at me out the drive thru window hitting the doorframe of my van. This was witnessed by my wife and three of my children as well as Ana.

I pulled forward and parked my van. I got out of the van picked up the tray and took it into the restaurant. Alissa was no where to be seen. I asked Ana if she wanted her tray back after Alissa threw it at me. Ana said she wasn't sure. An older very short lady asked if she could help me. I asked her if they wanted the tray back after Alissa threw it at me. The lady did not know what to say. I asked for the manager and Ana said it was Alissa but she didn't know where she went. I left the restaurant.

I would like both a corporate response and a call from the store owner.

Disgustedly and assaultedly,

Darrell Blue
