I tried to call the customer service line but couldn't through. I went in to purchase my boyfriend the 7 inch Celebration cake and before purchasing it i looked it up specifically online. After purchasing the cake and having a slice each, we noticed it just didn't taste correct. I then noticed one of the cake layers was missing on the cake. I called the manage Doug and explained to him about the situation. He apologized and offered me to exchange the cake or i could get a refund. Iong story short because my computer keeps kicking me out of your website. I returned to the restaurant the next day and thoroughly explained myself to the cashier and i had my receipt, I.D and the cake. Put it this way, I love people and i love the Cheesecake Factory. 90% of my visits are awesome. I had paid 45$ to get a nice 2 cake
celebration Cheesecake and didn't. The refund was authorized by dough the night before and i took pictures. I was at the restaurant over 20 minutes explaining the return of the cheese cake AGAIN, which was 3 quarters there. I wanted to talk on the phone to Julia who had handled a situation over 5 years ago for me and i hope she is still with the company because she had amazing empathy. I wanted to exchange the cheesecake not a refund. They ended up giving us back the 7 inch cake we were and returning . I thought they had put a replacement cheesecake in the box , which would have been lemon raspberry. I know i was distracted my conversation with a person that Doug brought out (person #3) who was having congenial words with me back and forth. Dough offered to purchase my boyfriend a slice or the Raspberry lemon cheesecake and put it on his tab. My boyfriend and I both thanked him but i didn't know they wouldn't Do anything substantial. I felt questioned and like i had NO RIGHT to address an issue about the cheese cake i purchased for $45.00 . I overlooked many things including the embarrassment of employees coming over to see what's going on . I am disappointed about how long it took and nothing substantial was actually resolved. I live downtown, love Cheesecake factory and which, especially in this day and time there was more EMPATHY. I've worked in the restaurant industry and retired from a bakery over 27 years. Please fix this were everyone is truly happy.
Desired outcome: A 7 inch Peach Perfect Raspberry Drizzle which Doug claimed not to have when he went back in the Kitchen to get, but came out with another person.
