I have been with TELUS for over four decades. Every year gets worse, now as a pensioner living in city housing right next door to their offices, I have to fight to just sustain a basic service in what is essentially a brand new building with built in TELUS services. There is a box on the wall and in wall plugs for internet connection. I have these periodic disconnections which despite at least ten calls, keep continuing. I have now FIRMLY proved it's their wall connection despite being run through unbelievable amounts of time wasted on them blaming MY HARDWARE and having me rummage through my tiny storage closet to prove to them that I can't reset my modem. I have a brand new cord to my desktop and NO IT'S NOT MY COMPUTER. I have to wiggle the connection to the wall connection to get my internet back. I am after all the hassles just doing that because if I call in a technician, they will try to charge me for service THAT SHOULD BE AUTOMATIC with such an issue. And EVERY time I talk to them about billing I have to go through the fact they haven't got a CLUE about anything but hey how would you like some more services? Great way to treat a client that has been signed up longer than most of these salespeople have been on earth.
Recommendation: How can you recommend ANY of these services in Canada. One scam after another. No accountability. Shaw is even worse , NEVER should have been privatized.
