I unfortunately have been having issues with all my Telus hardware.
Recently my garage door security system went down. They offered to send me a new one then told me, it’ll be a $200 service charge to install it. I said, no, that’s ridiculous I’m not paying that, I’m paying to have an installation done for a service I’m paying for that failed.
Completely ignoring me the rep started to book the install as I tried to explain, I’m not noting for that, I’ll do it myself if you won’t waive the fee. He just ignored me, I finally cut him off and told him what happened, he reiterated what I said to him getting nothing right, I asked him if he’s even listening, he said, yes sir.
I asked him what did I say, he said you wanted to hook a technician, that will be $200 dollars and continued booking a tech to come out. I said, let me speak to an escalations manager, he said why?
I said you’re not listening, you’re wasting my time. “No im not” he insisted and went back to asking when I want the technician to come out, it will a $200 dollar charge.
I finally just hung up it was so frustrating.
Why wait for two hours for a call back from someone who doesn’t speak English and doesn’t listen. I’m done with Telus.
Recommendation: Stay away from Telus. Cheap comes with a cost.
