I had booked for a tataindicom broadband connection. I had got in touch with the sales person and he visited my residence, as per procedure and collected all the necessary documents and i paid him 500/- as cash, 50/- as his charge! Well i was promised the connection in 2 days, but its already 15 days now and still i have no clue whats the status of my connection. Well the sales guy whom i had contacted doesn't pick my call. I called up customer care to check about it, but they asked for application number. I stated the application no which was mentioned on the form, but they said its invalid and they cant help!

Well my question Is TataI ndicom is aware about these sales guys, as that guy had a ID of the Co? If so how can they say that they are responsible?

Well i have submitted documents also, i am not sure whom to approach! But i would request others please don't trust the sales guys, they are more or less cheaters! Please be careful before submitting your documents. Don't pay the deposit until and unless u get the connection!

I acquired tata indicom broadband service in Dec, 2009. I made bill payments for January, February and March in advance and was suppose to get the month of April free due to the advance payment scheme that was well published on their website.

Some how these collection office personnel do not understand that there is a fault on their side that their sales office were not able to move on the information of my availing the scheme to them. This lack of professional conduct on their part has led to me being harassed continuously since 15th of May, 2010. They insist that I make the payment for the month of April while stating that my payment of Rs.2316/ made in January was a standard payment and I am not eligible to any scheme. This is an outright abuse and power and to hide the faults of their sales team, Mr. Jignesh is not available even on the phone. Why does a company like tata have to revert to stealing money worth Rs.770?

I want to complaint against tata indicom.They themselves activate caller tune on my number ([protected]) and charged Rs 40.They have refunded me Rs 15 on 15th of December.But after so many comlaints (complaint no. – [protected] and [protected]) at their customer care they haven’t refunded me the balance money (Rs. 25).They always said that they will not be able to do anything.Such a big company doing this type of behaviour is redicilous.

I had a Walky from Tata Indicom. The instrument got defective and the company changed the instrument after much haggling (they keep saying they don't have spare instruments of same type). However, they gave an older type of the instrument, promising that whenever the new type is available, they will replace. However, the time has never come. In spite of repeated calls, they are yet to change and provide me the newer model (my internet kit is operable only on the newer type LSP 350T but they have given me LSP 345 currently).

In addition, they ask for Rs. 1000 to provide me the newer version of the phone (which was the one I was formerly having with me). Suggest everyone do not use TATA Indicom Walky.

I have shifted my tataindicoam phone from post paid to pre paid on [protected] and requested refund of deposit. Phone is shifted to prepaid but deposit is not refunded even after visiting customer care for 3 times. Tata cheats customers!

I have got cancelled all extra services which were not subscribed by me while getting my phone recharged last month. To my surprise sooner I got recharged lot of amount was deducted, on confirmation it revealed again all those extra services are applied to my phone. Then I have approached to customer care services and met Ms. Archana (head), with her interference services were cancelled but amount could not be recovered. I have requested for DND services which could not materialized yet. However lots of new extra services are applied to my phone. It is clear indication of cheating. I have lodged complain but no response till date.
Please take quick step. Otherwise I will forced to cut-off my connection and will look for any further step.

i had disconnected my wife'sDelhi phone number [protected] and gave back the instrument even after that every month 3-4 calls from their billing depts. coming for payments as i had requested well before the time and they could not disconnect the phone in time and for that period i not used the phone except toll free number of their customer care requesting many times to disconnect it and they assured me that you will not be charged as your request is registered before the bill circulation date.please correct your system error and send me the recipt of last and final payment.

I m using tata indicom number from last two years , few months back , a represtative from tata indicom came to my office and made fake promises and gave me another sim of TATA INDICOM and took rs.500 from me. When the sim got activated , i cme to know that schmes wich he offered me were fake. I gave him a call on his number but he did not respond ,now my problem is dat i have dicontinue my oldere nu,ber also due to this number.I made a complaint in main office , but i havent recieved a response yet.My older number is spreaded to all my clents and i dnt want to discontinue ,but forcefull i have to discontinue it.

My office landline number set had some problem on 17 Jul, as it was not working, so we made a complaint with customer care for the same, we got a reply: we will attend u in 3 working day, so very funny, an office number will be switched of for 3days, cause tata tel has no time to send some one.. Also i went to tat indi office and they said the lanline set needs a replacement but they r out of stock.. Again a very frustration response from tata indicom.. Would request everyone to not use indicom ..

I got a tata land phone connection 6 months ago, am pay the deposit 500 rs and i got connection but the installation people came my home and said only small range is there am say in my room there r some range but other room r range but they go with phone and not install tata phone, then am call her sir and said but he never take action, than am send a compliant to tata compliant section but no reply r from there. Its a bludy basted service, am never use tata phone built my cash is not return before 6 months wats its tatas customer service... bludy cheep service...

I had eight telephone lines for my company from Tata Indicom. I discontinued 4 of them. But they keep billing me for those disconnected lines.

Its been more than two and half years and I made numerous complains since the past two years buts no action.

And the situation is the billing in running almost a lakh of rupees. When i call up customer service, they say they don't know how to "not bill for disconnected telephone"

What a pity, i have a call from collection agents and senior executives from Tata Indicom, who call me every month and i have to explained him every time i make a payment.

Nothing but pure harassment.

Now Shairi service is activate by tata indicom on my number [protected] and i have registered my complaint no. BAL079144984 on 31 Aug 2010 and after that got a call that above service is activate by getting call from tata indicom and then i pressed any key for the same, and i told to them that i hae alrady applied for DND as on 11 July 2010 means on 15 Aug 2010 it should activate, so i am not supposed to getting any call from tata indicom then that person told me to call back with in 1/2 hour, but i didn't get back any call even above complaint was closed by them. After that i called to customer care several time. but they were not ready to re-open the complaint, so please let me know wat i am supposed to do now.

I have a tata indicom broadband connection (unlimited 6 month plan) since July 2007. Though Tata indicom is known for its vices we eventually had to revert to them as we didnt have any other option. Actualy Airtel doesnt provide service in my area (Jayanagar 7th blk) and it takes too long to get a bsnl connection. Initially the service was pretty ok. Then it started showing up. The connection used to be down normally on weekends for around 24 hrs. Though its frustrating we somehow beared it as atleast it used to come back after that. This started happening very frequently. If you contact customer care the only thing they tell is "restart the modem". One fine day that is on Nov 1st the connection went down as usual, but never came back till date! I have been giving complaints on complaints but in vain. To our horror a couple of times our complaint was closed wihtout even contacting us once. Yesterday one of their engineers told me that there is some installation work goin on and they are shifting their infrastructure etc etc.. I really feel helpless now. As a final resort i am thinking of filing a complaint in the consumer court. Hope atleast this will help! As a word of final advice i pleed everyone "DO NOT EVER GO FOR TATA INDICOM BROADBAND". Worst ever possible connection.

I have taken 2 TataIndicom postpaid connections in the month of December. As there was an offer (roaming incoming free) i used these connections for 2 months. But in the month of March, Tata Indicom has changed the plan and they started charging for incoming in roaming. Then i have I wanted to close one of the connections which is in roaming and the other to change the tariff plan. But the connection which was supposed to close was not yet closed and they are still charging me the monthly rental.

The other connection, I came to know that there is a plan in Tata Indicom in which Tataindicom to Tataindicom STD is only Rs.1 per 3 minutes. Then on April 8th I requested them to change the plan. They told me that the plan will be affective from the same month as my billing cycle starts from April 11th. But i didn't. I used the phone thinking it is only Rs.1 per 3 minutes. After a month I got a bill of 4600 in which it is charged R.3 per minute.

I have raised many complaints and no one has helped to sort this out and now they are asking me to pay the whole amount. The guy who told me that it will be affective from this month says 'I didn't say like that'.

I had a tata post paid walky at Dehradun ([protected]) which I discontinued at Dehradun on my transfer to Delhi. The phone equipment provided was brought by me to Delhi as i had paid for it while at Dehradun. Now at Delhi Initially they said that they are short of 10 digit numbers and when i contacted the customer service they are saying that they cannot give me a 10 digit walky number in Delhi unless i buy another phone equipment from them. This is pure cheating of the customers by Tata Indicom as my set from Tata is nopt even one year old.

Can someone from TATA respond to this why they are not giving me the connection.

We have applied for a landline and broadband connection from Tata Indicom on 22nd MAy 2006. For broadband the customer service representative took a cheque of INR 1292. The telephone connection was given in 5 days time but the broadband connection which was supposed to be up by May end has not been given even today 11th July 2006. The cheque has been encashed from my citibank account on 10th JUne 2006. Whenever I called up the customer care center someone(either shivangi/preeti/jatin etc etc) listened very patiently and gave a coplanit number. The latest being 138648. However then some times there would be no call or someone would call up and ask us to be at home at some odd time(11 a.m weekdays, 6 p.m. weekends) and we would keep waiting - no one turns up. I have raised mutiple call centre complaints, sent mails to customercare@vsnl.co.in. Noone ever bothered to reply to the emails - let alone resolve the problem.

In January i had take one mobile from Tata ( plan 0-1-2-3 ) which was valid for two years. Now all of sudden they had stop this card, now if we want to recharge our card which is essential then this card will be void. I think this is a cheating with customers they had advertise their scheme very largely by 2 famous film stars. I'd mailed them but not got any response. Let me know if any one can help me in this.

I have bought the photon+ connection online by making payment with my credit card for INR 2300/-. They have clearly stated on tata indicom website wee.ichoose.in, that the delivery wil be withing 2-3 working days of the payment. It already is late. The status updat eon there website for my order was last updated on 08-May. When I call on any of the numbers provided by the tata indicom in the purchase information email, the person there has no clue about the order.

I am still not sure when and if tata indcom will deliver my photon+ connection.

I have been using the net service provided by Tata Indicom Photon Plus. Firstly they do not provide the Net speed as they claim. Secondly they produce discrepant bills. For the previous months I received correct bills which matched with the usage that I was having. The usage can be seen through an account one has for a corresponding account number. But for the month of Aug - Sept the billing was done in a way that did not match my usage details as shown in my account. It reflected some almost 1 GB of usage I have never made. I have mailed to the customer care regarding this issue and waiting for a response from them which I am not sure they will give as I know friends who have had similar bad experiences.

This is one of the most irresponsible service Provider in the universe that I have come across. I am a Tata Indicom land line Coustomer. My Plan was 180/- per month which includes caller ID. But my every month bill that I get from Tata INdicom is not less than 450/-. Frankly Saying we use it rarely, since every one in our residence got mobile. More over I have faxed them my cancellation on 10/09/2007, but still no action is taken...

I have Tata indicom broadband prepaid internet connectivity since 6 months. I renew it every 3 months. I have renewed the connection 2 times now.

The internet connectivity was stopped on 30th April, 2008 and i lodged a complaint through customer care. A field engineer visited house on 4th May, 2008 and took the router (router is essential to connect my computer to internet) saying the router is not working. My account got suspended on 8th May, since the last date of the validity period was 7th May, 2008. The customer care assured me on 30th April, 2008 that the issue will be addressed within 24 working hours and the issue has not been addressed even after 9 days. Right now there is no router at home.

Now when i call up customer care to replace the router, he is asking me to renew the connection and only then they will give address the issue.

I have faced several problems before with tata indicom, where i lodge a complaint and they take more than a week to address any connectivity issues.

Ever since i took the Tata Indicom connection, it has been getting disconnected every week and it takes the service men another week to get it fixed. The last time i could not connect for a month and a half, and I was told that my account would get extended by 2 months because i did not have connectivity for such a long period. But I can see that the extension has been given only for 13 days ! Every time i call up the customer service they put me on hold for ages, register a new complaint and tell me they will process this in 72 hours and get back-but it NEVER HAPPENS ! I am really fed up their service(or the lack of it) and i think i have spent more on my phone calls to the customer service than on my internet. Also there is no refund option, and since its a prepaid connection, i am really really stuck!

I have asked TATA INDICOM to disconnect my connection, take back the instrument and give me back my deposit but have till date no response from these guys for collecting the instrument. Also the stupid IVRS does not give me any option to talk to a agent (human...).

Sad state because i regard the TATA group as the people who have done most to the country even above our freedom fighters.

I got a broadband internet connection from Tata Indicom in December 2007. The problem is the internet connection is not active most of the times. They end up giving me reasons such as the switch is not working, the router is not working, problem at data center etc when i happen to call them. I could have gone for an Airtel broadband connection but it is not available in my area ( Jayanager 2nd Block)

Each time i talk to a customer care executive and i ask for their supervisor, they end up putting me on hold for 30 - 40 mins and still do not respond.

I made a payment of Two mobile phones of Tata Indicom through Easy bill on 30th Dec06. But I received a message that as I have not made the payment my services will be disconnected. I received a call from their call center and was advised to make the payment. I told them that I have already made the payment and gave them the details of my bill. Still next day my services were suspended. After calling them they advised that they are logging a complaint and they activated my services. Then again after 2 days my services were suspended and I was advised that it will take around 72 hrs. Then I called Easy bill and was advised that the problem is at their end and services will be activated and services were activated in 3 hrs. Then again after 2 days my services are suspended and I have called 3 times and First time I was advised that services will be activated in next 6 hrs and after 6 hrs I have been advised that my services will be activated in next 24 hrs. I am going to the consumer court and press to log a complaint as Tata Indicom services are very poor. I have a corporate connection in IBM and I am going to complain in our HR department not to entertain any services from TATA indicom.

Tata Indicom Internet service is a fraud, if you are planning for a connection with this company, stay away from these cheaters, i have been cheated by the sales people, field technicians and soft spoken call center idiots.

I was promised a public ip address along with the connection and good internet speed. after installation i found out i have not been given the ip address, i called the sales guy to hear that i have have pay Rs.400 for public ip, internet speed was at it worst speed it was as good as dialup connection.

i raised a complaint to disconnect the connection, however after 2 months of waiting and calling them 48 times to be precise i havent even got a courtesy call to say hello sir we are calling from F%^&kin tataindicom...

1. When i purchased this device, i was told that two months free usage will be given. but from the next month onward they started sending the bills. and i kept on paying on due dates.

2. Internet speed was so slow that u can have a cup of tea between opening of the two windows.

3. No action was taken on my repeated complaints. once, due to postal delays, my bill did not reach in time. they cut disabled my device. tataindicom is charging 881/= per month for unlimited free usage for this device. but it is too slow.

4. they have given a software named speed plus, but it always gives back message like " can not detect speed plus server".

5. Following these problems i have changed my plan from unlimited usage to the minimum plan.

6. tataindicom is very fast in billing but is very slow in attending the customer complaints.

This is to inform you that I am using your service since Dec 2007, I have changed my residence from Banashankari 3rd stage to RR Nagar 5th stage. In this regard I changed my billing address details in my account thrice also for that reason I also visited one of your outlet at Kamakhaya theater Near Katerguppe from where I took the connection, I requested Mr Pandey one of your representative to do the needful, I gave him the rental agreement and change of address request but he bluntly refused to accept the documents stating that he is not authorised to accept any change of address request so will not accept the documents and I should visit head office for this matter. Then after further requesting he spoke to some one and then took the documents from me but again returned it back stating the date on agreement is not valid. Then again he put me to one of his senior who told me that I should submit my gas connection receipt along with the documents. Today when the gas connection receipt was given to him he again denied to accept it. I am really annoyed with all this and one cant spend so much of time and efforts for simply changing a billing address.

I took two connection of tata indicom in which incoming free while roaming. They have changed plan without any intimation and they added the incoming charges while roaming in my bill. When i asked them they told me we cannot do anything about ur billing amount. Whenever i try to call customer care in day. Its always come busy. In online payments, they take 5-10 days. If it takes 5-10 days then what is the use of online payment. Eveytime their network busy. I am really fed up with Tata indicom. I suggest everyone not to take tata connection. These companies should be banned by TRAI.

I have applied for a tata indicom sim, which was allotted on 30/6/2009, no is [protected]

I purchase the handset on 12/7/2009 & insert the sim for the first time on 13/7/2009.

On 13/7/2009 I have received a call from Bombay that your bill amt is 1700.

How can this possible?

In fact on 13/7/2009 I have received a welcome call on my personal no [protected].

I think that may be this no is pre allotted as it is not in the current running series which my friends hold.

My plan is 225 pm.

They send the copy bill near about the due date and that is also on request and if customer is late in payment of bill they charged a late fee of rs 50 that is not fair

I m using tata indicom number from last two years , few months back , a represtative from tata indicom came to my office and made fake promises and gave me another sim of TATA INDICOM and took rs.500 from me. When the sim got activated , i cme to know that schmes wich he offered me were fake. I gave him a call on his number but he did not respond ,now my problem is dat i have to discontinue my oldere number also, due to this new number bcos dey r in same account.I made a complaint in main office , but i havent recieved a response yet.My older number is spreaded to all my clents and i dnt want to discontinue ,but forcefull i have to discontinue it.

we got our connection activated last month then after 2 days it was switched off saying that check has bounced, we gave money in last week of aprilbut it has not been yet reactivated, wen called up ur service provider they came and gave us a username and password that is shared between 2 people...saying that we have to use this shared connection for just 2 more days and then our parent account will again start functioning, , , , its been 10 days old story and till now neither we got our connection activated on parent account nor ur people are helping...this account was activated by mr.datta from tata indicom office from kalyani nagar pune...they have taken 5 months payment but still vwe are wihtout connection ...kindly help

I am so frustrated with this company right now.
I had this Tata broadband connection always had a problem with the billing.And now as I've terminated the service they've miss-pelt my name on the check they've issued which is about a Rs1000 chg.Its been more than 3 three months and they still have not corrected my name.I suggest everyone think a hundred times before you give them your business.

I have been a customer of Tata Indicom "Always On" postpaid plan for one year now. And in that course of time, have had a variety of complaints, which i have listed below (latest complaint first)

1. My connection is currently inactive, and customer service cannot tell me why. The bill due date is 20th Sept, and i have already paid my bill, yet connection is inactive. Complaint has been lodged 2 days ago, no response.
2. As per my usage log, i have downloaded 3600MB of data on a single day, which is impossible. Hence i can conclude that someone (if not the company itself) is bumping up usage to increase revenue.
3. Last month i had downtime of more than 7 days. they have given me a credit of 36 rupees.
4. I have lodged several complaints in the past, none of which have been proactively addressed, and i spend more time and money following it up
5. Billing - Their broadband bill structure is not only confusing, but also prone to changes, and so i have a feeling i have been overcharged several times.
6. Extremely poor customer service: which has no technical access, such as releasing an account on confirmation of payment. Plus they can hardly communicate properly. They also are mostly rude and uncooperative

Going by these, i am yet to figure out a better alternative. BSNL seems much better. But it is sad that TATA is associated with such a pathetic quality of service. Obviously noone is looking at customer satisfaction as a key service differentiator in that company. I would welcome suggestions as to how i go ahead and formally take the above issues up against the company

Here is my experience with Tata Indicom who claims that they are very good at their services. I have taken a Tata Indicom prepaid broadband connection in Bangalore, Jayanagar II block Ashoka Pillar Road, India 2 months back (in Aug'2007).

During that time we asked the marketing representative that If we shift from here will your company will activate our service at new location. Representative told they are number one in broadband connection and across all bangalore location they have the network.

Then I shifted my residence from Jayangar II block to Ist block which is 500 meters away from my old residence. I have raised a shifting request but they told they do not provide service in that area so it is not feasible to provide the connection.

Then I have asked them to refund my unutilized money as you do not provide service in the current area. In turn I am getting reply that it's a prepaid account so Tata Indicom can't refund the amount to me so better I need to use their services. I do not understand if they do not provide service how can I utilize the amount and secondly this will expire after 60 days. Tata Indicom makes their customer fool in the first place. While the marketing representative comes he will give some picture and then after taking the connection you will get something else.

Anyway Good luck to Tata Indicom for their sincere customer service.

I hope they should learn swim before the ship sinks.

What type of internet is this? Dial up internet was much more better than this and costs much more cheaper... It shows 230 kbps... nonsense! Its not even near to 56kbps dial up connection... I wanted to use internet very badly one day but this insane connection...! I am going to return this cheap product back to there face... awful...

Till now I have not received the pen drive.I was asked to pay full amount in Cash for 24 hrs delivery. Inspite I am following up for past 15 days. Till now no proper response. I have asked the money back. Still no response.

I have purchased tata indicom mobile in March 2007 & paying Rs. 500 per month as my telephone bill. As i am paying this money for talking through my mobile phone, TATA is taking this money out for not sending clear network...

TATA indicom is looting our money by simply saying "Switch to TATA Indicom". Moreover when i see their ad on TV, i simply laugh on their slogans!
