Target racism in your stores happened a while back but

Ok so this happened to me and my sister in your target store a while back why I'm writing now is because I use to love shopping at your store wouldn't go several times a week. I decided to write about it today because it bothered me today and can't get it out my mind. Anyways me and my sister was shopping we were the only colored people around. The old lady kept starring at us only while we were in self check out. She seen something ring up differently on the screen took the items away from us and told us she will look for the correct price if we wanted them. Pulled us aside very embarrassing after words. A nice Caucasian women took the items from the employees hand and purchased them for me for the price it was ringing and she didn't tell her anything because she was white. Then afterwards I checked out with my items at self check out and I never had anyone come behind me and check my bags telling me it was just a procedure. Bull crap that was. After all this I have not shopped in target because this was the only one I use to go to. They treat me this way everytime I come because of my color and I don't appreciate this at all.

Target red card and target.com need to be put off the map. in December of 16 received the letter from Target Red card stating no usage on card in six months will cancel due to no activity. Then in January 2017 received statement of charges target.com called in about erroneous charges they transferred me to target.com they could not find any charges from my email address at home nothing shipped to me nothing ordered by me but the charges were on my card. It has been 4 months and they cant get it right. After finding target put charges on my card by mistake they still want me to sign an affidavit about the charges, if it was their error they should corrected it. Just STUPID practice.

Target absolutely terrible and dishonest company

I have a bad experience with Target and I would not recommend this company! I bought 3 items from them and received only two and when I contacted customer service they tried to assure me there were all three items in the package. I told them I wasn't blind and that I saw only two item and third one was missing.
After numerous emails they finally agreed that I was telling the truth and even said that they were very sorry for causing me trouble. They promised I'll get a refund for the third item but that did not happen. Recently I contacted Target about the money and they said they need more time. More time for what?
Absolutely terrible service and dishonest customer support. Never again!

Target response from employee

At 4:08 p.m. today, I went into Target in Poplin Place on 74 in Monroe, N.C. to pay my bill. A cart had hit someone' s car. I told the young lady in customer service. She said immediately that it was not the store's responsibility. I said I agree but there are carts all over the parking lot. She said well we do not have anyone who can do that now.
I paid bill and shopped for several things. When I came out nothing had been done. My suggestion is to train employees in how to tell a person that without sounding like you do not care. At least say you appreciate the information. It goes a long ways in making customers want to come back.

Target extra long lines

It has become a reoccurring theme that every time I visit the local Target near my job in Martinsburg, WV I am found waiting 20-25 minutes in line. I understand that some patience is required in life and especially when interacting in public, but I truly feel that Target should at least try to accommodate consumers by calling more tellers up front. I am not sure what the company policy is with when to request more help to the front, but waiting 25+ minutes and having lines as far back as the first area of clothes and jewelry is ridiculous. Not to mention that waiting that long while on a quick one hour lunch break is going to continue to deter consumers from "stopping by" Target real quick to grab some items. After waiting 25 minutes consistently in line, I have decided that Target stores and inconvenience are no longer for me, I have found myself going to any other store in the shopping center but yours.

Target customer service

Just visited the Target in Wilmington NC for the 1st time in a while. Purchased 3 items which 1 was beer. The cashier ask for my date of birth and entered it into the computer. What an insult to me and most folks that are 'obviously' over the drinking age. And to enter it into a computer!
It is great to ensure those purchasing alcohol are of legal age but must Target's policy insult those who are greatly of age. Senior ciizens like myself should not have to get this BAD policy. I will not because I Do not plan to shop there again. Wake up Target management, a simple discrete asking of ones ID for those that look close to or below age would as it does for 99.9 percent of all other merchants. And forget entering it into a computer, for what purpose.

You are incredibly entitled and self-absorbed. The system requires an age be put in and the cashier would like to enter the proper date. I've been to many other liquor stores and they all request that information. If a cashier doesn't do it properly, they could get in trouble with their management. Your whining is not worth that. Go somewhere else as I'm sure they would prefer not to have someone like you as a customer.

Target apollo the super pup and his racer vehicle

hello,
I am very upset bc I went to 3 diffrent targets and called about 10 all over NV. online it is advertised that Apollo and his car can only be purchased in store and there is no other option to buy this set. It is also advertised that it's a target exclusive item.

Apollo and his racer are no where to be found throughout any of the stores I called. I was told that what I am seeing online( number of available item the store has on hand) is not correct bc the item number is the same for all the pups in the paw patrol?! wait what?! this does not make any sense how all the pups share the same item number, I don't understand how the store would be able to keep accurate property accountability. I'm not even sure this is true. all I know is that one little 3 yr old boy was super upset and could not understand why the ba-cuteter (computer, but my son can't say it so it's ba-cuteter) said it was at the store and the money he pulled out of piggy bank would not be getting him Apollo and his racer vehicle.

so explaining this to my son was a catastrophic emotional event, false advertisement can not be explined properly to a 3 yr boy, not even if ur Oprah! if you could please make this availble to purchase online so I can buy it? that would be awesome... or tell me how to get it because target is the only store that is advertising it for 16.99 or 14.99 I can't remeber, but everywhere else only has the pup without the car, and my #1 go too, when I need something I can't get in the stores, amazon wants 46.00 for the set, that is insane...

thank you in advance,

V/r

Target unruly teenagers @ the collections oxnard target

Hi! This is not the norm for me but I am spent! Weekends are a horrible at Target flooded with unsupervised teenagers running amuck.

Yesterday, I witnessed two teenagers tossing the ball back and forth down the isle giggling as if it were a playground. I saw this from the adjacent Isle, the height of the ball was so high I saw it float through the air, and I'm short! Well, I've had it with these ( ugh sigh) little humans, as I walked by I gave them the mom look and said " how old are you guys? " it was not a pretty look I felt bad for them! Seriously, it's gotten out of hand. A friend started she witnessed a security guard approach the kid but the brat outran them. Please hire more security guards. It's no joke, love the store but not the teenagers.
Be well

I think you should have just walked away after commenting and left it at that—unless they were trashing something you could just take it upon yourself to see it in a good light, rather than stay disgruntled. Though I can sympathize with that natural feeling of annoyance, I try to analyze why I'm irritated at the situation in the first place—like, does it really matter? am I blowing this out of proportion? If I feel disturbed enough I might remark, but then I may incur the cost of derogatory backlash etc. So if there isn't really a problem above "annoyance level" I just try to find a way to think more positively about it, like the fact I used to be young and energetic and annoying sometimes, and should have the capacity to understand.

Target service

I purchased a few items from target in pinole ca 12/17/16 with cash, I found that they charged me twice for one item. I called and spoke with a rude "manager" she told me to come in with my receipt and they'll fix it either two ways but it will be fixed. I did just that and was told they need to look at the footage to make sure I was charged twice. well unfortunately since it's now 1/23/17 they couldn't go back that far. and are saying they are not refunding me or anything.

Target up and up 50ct breastmilk bags

I purchased bags from the Monticello Target a few weeks ago and as I'm thawing out my breastmilk, on a few occasions I noticed a leak. Yesterday I had over 3 oz steadily leak out of the bag which was in a bowl. I will attach a picture and do have a video of it leaking out into the bowl. The milk is valuable to feed my child and I can't have it being leaked out and wasted into a bowl. The bag had 6 oz in it initially and I was only left with 3oz.

Target huggies little snugglers

Good morning!
I recently purchased a case/large box of the huggies snugglers. I had never used huggies on my 3 month old daughter. The diaper are very soft and true to size. Adter about an hour of her wearing it she became extremely fussy. I did the normal checks on her and opened her diaper and found a huge rash. Her diaper was not really all that wet but she was covered in red bumps and welps. I put another new huggies on her. About 15 minutes later she was screaming in pain. I then realized it was the diaper. It took about 5-7 days for her poor bottom to clear up. A few of the bumps busted and took longer to heal. I called target where I purchased the case of diapers and they told me to contact the manufacturer. What can I do about this?

Target my order got cancelled

Purchased an item from Target and was supposed to get my order within two weeks. On the estimated delivery date Target support contacted me and said that they need more time to deliver to my location. I was very disappointed to hear that but decided to give them a chance. About one week later they contacted me again and said that my order was on backorder! When I heard that I demanded some reasonable explanation but they had nothing to say. Target representative assured me they were already fixing the problem but that was just a lie. For about two weeks they gave me nothing but empty promises and said I'll get my order any time soon. But then I got another message stating that my order was cancelled. They promised me a refund, but I did not get my money back. This company is terrible and I recommend everyone to stay away from it!

Target service

On 1/2/17 I placed an order. Delivery date was expected between 1/6-1/11. I checked the Fedex tracking- it indicated the package had been delivered to the Harmar Target on 1/9. I waited to receive a Target email indicating order was ready for pick-up. Never received one. Got another email from Target.com indicating that the order is now delayed- how can that be when they received it on the 9th? Expected delivery was now 1/11-1/15. I called Target.com on my break at work. She ended up putting me on hold - I couldn't hold any longer. I received an email from Target.com after that indicating that the order had been cancelled! By whom? Not me! I called again- to be told that the item was never picked up when it was delivered... What? I NEVER received an email stating to pick up the order, AND the other email said it was delayed! I was also told it would take 10 days for the gift card to be refunded! AND the item is no longer available! SO disappointing for such a large company.

Target return/exchange policy/customer service

I purchased this air mattress on line. although I am have no problems with the mattress or the quality, I was VERY unhappy with the service I received when I went to RETURN the merchandise. I had my pre-printed return receipt. I went into the store. the clerk and (I believe the on duty store manager) told me I could not return the UNOPENED AND UNUSED mattress. It was store policy. THIS INFORMATION WAS NO WHERE ON MY RECEIPT WHEN I PURCHASED IT. they told me I could get a store credit or exchange it. I DID NOT WANT TO EXCHANGE IT. I WANTED TO RETURN IT AND HAVE THE COST CREDITED BACK TO THE CC/DEBIT CARD I USED TO PURCHASE IT. If this was the case with aero/air mattresses, I would never have purchased the over priced thing from Target in the first place. I am very disappointed with the service I received. I ended up keeping the thing, because I did not want to take a chance on doing a mail-in refund request and being offered a credit with Target. Very very unhappy. The Target store was located at 60 Shining Willow Way La Plata, MD 20646

What was the reason they gave you for not being able to provide a full refund? Was your return within a certain time frame? Did you refer to their terms and conditions?

Target limit set on checks

I spent four hours shopping at Target, for a wedding in my home. After clerk rung everything up, I wrote my check for a little over $700.00. Target refused the check because it was "too" much. Spoke with the Target service, & told me I couldn't write a check because Target has a limit. Who sets the limit? I was embarrassed & humiliated. I have shopped at Target hundreds of times. I ALWAYS pay cash or write a check. So Im being punished for using cash or a check? I do not use credit cards. i don't use debit cards & don't own at ATM card. I'm 61 years old, & I have never written a bad check in my life. I showed the manager that I still have $1200 in my checking & will be receiving $5000 the first of the month. I had to walk off with nothing i spent 4 hours shopping. I don't know who decides what the check limit is, & at this point, it doesn't matter. I walked away after waisting my time shopping & my friend waiting to check out, just left her cart. Probably had $400 worth of items for the same wedding. I will, from now on, take my business to Wal-Mart, though I have always shopped at Target. You have lost a faithful customer due to the limit set by who knows.

Target as seen on tv christmas lights

Target offered free delivery plus two $5.00 gift cards. My credit card was later charged $10.00 due to "GIFT PROCESSESING FEES"! Really, are you kidding me? What was the point of the free gift? Why wasn't that explained during on-line ordering? I have never been a fan of Target & now I can safely say I'll never return there.
By the way, waited 15 minutes to speak with customer service.

Target very unprofessional security team and management

I want to register a very big complaint against the American Fork, Utah Target store. I was doing some shopping on December 13 and my purse was stolen out of the front of the cart (a fairly deep space that wouldn't allow it to accidentally fall out of the cart) where it was sitting. This was around 6:15 pm and I was over in the magazine section of the store (looking at word search books requested for a sub for Santa I was shopping for). I am absolutely certain that the purse was in my cart and I turned away for a few moments looking at the books and when I turned around it was gone. I immediately ran to the service desk and told them my purse had been stolen. They suggested I call the police and file a report. After somebody let me use their phone to contact the police, I went out to my van to keep an eye out for somebody trying to steal it using my remote access keys in my purse.

The policeman arrived shortly after that, and officer Hagar took down all the details and did a quick look around the store in men's bathrooms and garbages to see if it had been abandoned somewhere. We were near the service desk till after 7:30 and were both incredibly dismayed to learn that although Target has security cameras, the ONLY person with access to them was unavailable till the next day. The police officer promised to come in the next morning to review the tapes.

My husband came to pick me up and we left around 8 to go home. I was incredibly upset and worried that somebody had my drivers license with my address along with my house and car keys. I was understandably concerned that they might try to break into our home. My husband immediately went to Home Depot and spent $400 on new keys (the keypad kind). Unfortunately the installation was not too simple and he had to return to Home Depot the next morning (taking several hours off work to do it) since there was a defect in one of the locks. He barred the doors with furniture as an extra precaution.

And I cancelled all of my credit cards (and had my husband cancel my debit card immediately).

The next day I had high hopes that the officer would be able to review the video footage and at least get a facial for the culprit. But I got a call around noon to tell me that Target has a policy that the security manager needs to first review the footage and write a report before forwarding the footage over to the police. More than 3 hours later I got a call from the security manager asking me what time it happened and where in the store I was and what I was wearing (questions he should have already had the answer to upon arriving at work that morning -- it was after 3 pm and it was obvious he was just finally getting around to it, more than 13 hours after the incident. VERY INEFFICIENT, TARGET!

He called me about 30 minutes later and what he told me sounded extremely suspicious. He said he had good news. My purse was found at the customer desk and had been turned in LAST NIGHT. He actually was very careful to tell me that he was talking to someone at the service desk on a completely unrelated topic when they mentioned a purse had been turned in the night before. (I wish I could have heard the unrelated topic that brought that up). When was my purse turned in? Was it while I was standing there with the police officer by the service desk for several hours? He wasn't sure what time it was but thought that the employee who received it had not been there while the fiasco was going on. Which doesn't make sense to me -- I worked at the Shopko service desk years ago and there isn't generally a shift beginning after 8 pm for a store that closes a few hours later. And if there had been a theft at my high school job, ALL employees would have been alerted, especially at the service desk. On the night of the theft, I asked if they could alert employees and ask them to check bathrooms and such and was informed that they already had and dressing rooms and bathrooms had been checked immediately. But a customer service employee heard nothing about such a huge event?

So in the end the security manager indicated that there was no reason to look at security footage. My purse was returned and nothing was missing that I could see. But I asked them to review it anyways since I know it was stolen and I wanted confirmation of that. But Target refuses.

My husband spoke with the police officer and was told that there was nothing they could do and Target never provided them with the footage. And my husband just got off the phone with the store manager who called me a liar and told my husband he was a sad and pathetic person and hung up on him.

I probably should have been the one talking to the store manager since I have held positions in customer service management and I do better with working with people who lack customer service skills as this manager obviously does. My husband doesn't have nearly the patience I do in dealing with incompetence.

At this point, we are looking at taking legal action in this incident. My husband feels very strongly that Target is covering for an employee or friend who stole the purse. When the police showed up quickly, the employee turned the purse in. The security manager couldn't tell me who turned the purse in, what time they turned it in, where the purse was found or anything.

The store manager insists that I lost my purse and it wasn't stolen. But I know it was stolen. Somebody took it out of my cart. And the video footage will prove it. And my guess is the security manager will recognize the perpetrator of the crime if he watches the footage. I think he already knows who it is.

I am asking that the footage be watched by both the security manager and by the police. If both of them confirm it wasn't stolen after watching it, only then will I believe them.

I am also asking for $500 to reimburse for the locks we purchased and for the hassle of canceling all my credit cards. It caused a lot of stress and inconvenience during the holidays.

*********
Notes from my husband:

Tuesday 27, Dec 2016 – Talked to Officer Hager of the AFPD about the case and was told that Target told them that the purse was returned the next day after it was missing and that there was no case to pursue for them.

Thurday 29, Dec 2016 1:40 pm– Called and talked to Jared Maynes (Store Manager of Target) about the stolen purse. I asked why the AFPD did not yet receive a copy of the video to look at and why Target had informed AFPD that there was no case to be investigated. Jared informed me that there was no case and that the purse was found and returned the next day – no case to investigate. I asked him if he reviewed the tape and confirmed the facts presented to him that the purse was misplaced by Beth in the store and not stolen. He told me that Target does not allow regular citizens into the security booth to look at video. I told him that I was not asking to look at the video, but for the AFPD to review the video. Jared then told me that he did not know what story I was being told by my wife, but that there was no case to investigate and Beth was lying about the whole incident. He then told me that I was sad and was trying to make something out of nothing. I remarked that Target was being sad by not looking at the facts in the case. Jared cut me off and told me that I was pathetic and hung up the phone on me.

You can't take legal action, because you did not lose anything, monetarily.

Why you took your eyes off your purse, is beyond me. Yes, it is sad, if someone took it... But it was later turned in, and you are Out. Nothing. Nothing but your time.

I worked for Target in my teens, and while I attended college. I agree that the service level in the store is awful. These kids get minimum wage. Don't expect Saks Fifth Avenue.

If you were to go to a lawyer, any good one would tell you that you don't have a case because you:
1. Are not out anything but time.
2. You were not watching or holding your purse! What human being goes into a store, at Christmas time, and DOESN'T watch their purse! You even said you turned your back on it!

Stop whining about this, and move on. Don't wanna be mean to you, but this IS your fault!

I checked out myself because their was only one cashier and a few minutes later 3-4 ppl pretend to come help me and of course the one gentleman which he shouldn't even be called that because he did disrespected me and never explain to me why he took apart all my items that I bought . They treated me as a thief and something needs to be done

Target tobi kids train bed - red

I ordered the Tobi Kids Train Bed - Red from Target on December 4th, 2016. This was to be a Christmas surprised for my child. Apparently my package got lost as it hadn't been delivered by 12/16 which it said it would be and the delivery system couldn't find my tracking number anymore. I called Target on 12/16. A customer service representative called EWS (the company delivering the item) and said it would arrive on 12/19 now. Apparently it got lost and they found it and was rush delivering it to me now. Once it arrived on the 19th, the package was ripped in several spots (attached - and they really don't do justice for the amount of damage on the box and to the item), one whole side was open, and multiple pieces were damaged beyond repair. I called Target on the 19th and spoke to a supervisor named Yaretci. She gave me a case number and said she would re-order the item for me, marked it as expedited and the replacement bed should arrive in 3 to 5 business days. As a token for my inconvenience, she provided me a $50 e gift card (which is now a complete joke as this item was $550.00). I was tracking my new order online and it stated it was arriving by 12/27. I wasn't happy, but this still gave me time to set it up for my child before he came back from his Christmas vacation on the 28th. Around 5 pm on the 27th it still hadn't shown up so I called the delivery service as it showed it had arrived in my city (Austin) in the morning. The delivery service said since Yaretci/Target didn't specify a delivery day or said I would sign for the item (which I actually stayed home to get this delivery on the 27th so I would have been happy to sign for it), they were holding onto it till January 2nd. JANUARY 2ND! I asked since it was already in my city, could I just come pick it up - they replied no. I asked if they were seriously going to just hold it in the warehouse for a week "just because" when it was about 30 minutes away from me? The lady then said she could get it delivered on the 29th. The lady at the delivery service specifically stated it wasn't coming earlier because of how Target set up the delivery. I then called Target. Well the guy who I got on the call was just rude. He kept quoting me they can't indicate how the delivery is done and they did nothing wrong. He continued to say he was sorry but nothing they could do. He then said we can't ever say something will take 5 business days to get there. All he kept doing is offering up the PC excuses as to why Target was not at fault for any of this. I interrupted and said BUT it has been a month! A MONTH! AND Yartci from Target DID say it would be 3 to 5 business days as she was expediting the shipment as she knew my situation and I was extremely pressed for time. AND she never asked if I could stay home to sign for it which would make it faster - which I would have been glad to do and actually did stay home for it. Target is pointing the finger at their delivery carrier and the delivery carrier is pointing the finger at Target. SOMEONE has to take ownership of this as I am the one who is being penalized - actually it's my child who is loosing out on this wonderful Christmas memory that has now been taken from him - and it should be Target as that is who I purchased this item from. I will now have waited a MONTH to get this item that was supposed to be here well before Christmas. This is Target's responsibility. They are the ones who contract their delivery services and they need to take responsibility for this. I obviously should not have trusted Target when they said they would make this right as they didn't. I should have purchased the item from Walmart when this fiasco started as I could have gotten it 12/26 by picking it up in the store (apparently they CAN guarantee delivery) but I stupidity trusted Target.
