Had Tmobile for 2 years and service was terrible. Dropped calls constantly. After contract was up I changed services. This happened in a mid month cycle. Trying to get final bill amount and avoiding late charges I called Tmobile and requested my final bill. I was told I would have to go to local store for that info. So, I went to local store, 30 minutes from home, and was told I would have to get that info from calling Tmobile customer service. So, went home and called again and was told to wait for final bill. Was contacted via text message from 3rd party collection that I owed total full month bill plus late charges. After pleading my case they pretty much told me to f*** off. I will never do business with them again. Terrible customer service and charged me for half of month not having service with them. Very dishonest company.
Recommendation: Terrible customer service
Switching to T-Mobile was the worst decision I’ve ever made. I never even got my phones — all three were stolen from my residence. I did everything I was told to do: filed a police report, waited for updates, followed every instruction. After two long months, I only got credit for the taxes and activation fees.
But then they charged me for a full month of service I never used. I was told nothing could be done and that if I didn’t pay, my bill would go to collections. I’ve never seen anything like this. Charging customers for service they never received is basically theft.
Every employee told me something different. You can’t trust anything they say — they just tell you whatever gets you off the phone. I was even told I wouldn’t be billed for unused service, and that was a complete lie. I still had to pay the whole bill or risk collections. And this was my experience as a brand-new customer.
At the end of the day, the thieves who stole my phones won, and I lost. It’s honestly sad how companies operate like this and don’t care at all about customer service.
