I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the customer service I experienced at your Subway location at 3792 Samet Drive, High Point, NC, on Wednesday at approximately 9:11 p.m.
Upon arriving, I informed the server that I needed to place an order for four subs for my family. The moment I said this, the employee’s demeanor noticeably changed. He appeared irritated and responded to me in a disrespectful, dismissive manner, as though he did not want to serve me. His tone and attitude were unprofessional and completely uncalled for.
As a customer who always shows appreciation for those working in the food service industry, I was taken aback by the level of rudeness I encountered. I did not believe I had done anything to warrant such treatment. Feeling uncomfortable and disrespected, I made the decision to leave and take my business elsewhere.
I am requesting that you address this incident with the employee involved and remind staff that customers deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times. Employees should never assume who they are serving or feel justified in treating anyone poorly.
For me to resort to writing this letter shows how strongly I feel about ensuring this does not happen again—to myself or any other customer. I hope that steps will be taken to prevent future incidents, perhaps through continued customer service training or coaching.
