Sonic Drive-In review: Chili cheese french fries and caramel sundae

Hello, I just visited your Sonic drive thru in Kingman AZ off of Andy Devine Ave. I have never written in to a company to make a bad comment before, but this time I could not let this go and need to tell you how awful your portions and food products are getting.

I could not believe my eyes when I opened my food bag and saw the size of my med and small chili cheese fries. I actually said to the worker I am sorry but I think you charged me wrong or are you out of the containers the fries come in? She replied no, that is the correct price and the correct containers. The container was approximately 2 inches wide by 4 inches long for the small and maybe 2 inches wide by 6 inches long for the large. Oh, and the cost was 2.79 and 4.09. I am so flabbergasted and pure disgusted to how myself and other customers are getting down right ripped off. I would give this to my 2 your old daughter and she would still need more food to be even half full.

Not to mention, the caramel sundae I purchased has a very strange tasting and horrible texture to the caramel sauce. I purchased a caramel sundae appx two weeks ago and thought that sonic ran out of their normal caramel and this was temporary. But come to find out it is not temporary and this caramel is what is on the sundae all the time.

I understand that the United States is having to pay their employees more money to work, but this is plain unacceptable.

We will no longer be coming back to sonic again. So instead of raising prices and leaving your food items alone. You have raised prices and cut back on size and the cost of good products. These types of choices for any company will only make things worse and people will not come back. My suggestion is if u have to raise prices, at least get the same size and same product you normally would receive, don't raise the food prices and cut back on portions and the quality.
