SmartStyle I want my money back it cost me $21.97

On Jan. 18 2021 I went to smart style salon at Walmart in Cushing Oklahoma I got a bold fade, and the haircut was not blended at all. It's more like patches, it's not even a straight line its completely uneven. This haircut is total garbage completely unprofessional to have stylist who obviously do not know what they are doing working in your shop and turns out to be the manager. I would never recommend this stylist to anyone based on the results I got today I am completely unsatisfied with the service and I hope to see results and some type of refund at the minimum return to me immediately hope that you consider addressing the salon to prevent future garbage haircuts like I got to anyone else. Her name was Jaime and shes the manager of the salon.

SmartStyle Hair appointment

I had an appointment at smartstyle in Walmart at 3221 W. 86th Street on 1/09/2021 at 3 pm. I get there on time and was asked to come back at 3:30 pm soLisa could finish a client. I leave and come back at 3:30 pm sit down and wait. Lisa then asks another stylist to wash, condition and put me under the dryer. I sit under dryer until the cycle ends. I then sit and wait while Lisa works in another client. She finishes clients hair close to give pm. Lisa then rinses conditioner out of my hair. I the sit in her chair and at this time she tells me she needs to use the restroom. She comes back it's 5 pm she does my hair and finishes at 5:30 pm. I feel she rushed through my service to work on another client who has come in while she was doing my hair. I asked for a discount due to the fact that I had to wait so long before I got my service. Lisa said no so I am writing you to tell of my bad experience. I don't like salons that stack appointments and steer clear of them. I would like to express my disappointment. Thank you.

SmartStyle Getting haircut on 1-9-2021

My son got a haircut at Smart Styles in Walmart at Rosewood NC and the stylist did not wear a mask. She made the statement that mask was for sheep (what she meant by that I DO NOT UNDERSTAND). Then she told my son to take off his mask to get his hair cut above his ears. I disagree with that because Great Clips stylist (where I get my hair cut) always wears masks and never tells me to take off my mask to cut my hair above my ears. With covid cases so bad in NC I think any stylist that does not wear a mask should not be allowed to work there. It shows me how much she cared about spreading the virus to people. I will be telling everyone I know not to go to that Smart Styles for a haircut because it is very unsafe. I will tell them to go to Great Clips for a haircut because they are safe during this pandemic. I do not think that anyone will respond to this email but at least I will be able to tell everyone about Smart Styles can put be people in jeopardy in spreading covid.

SmartStyle The lady said she knew how to cut my hair the way I wanted it I called her on the phone and she knew nothing about it

I called SmartStyle before I went to get a haircut to ask if they knew how to cut my hair the way I wanted it she says she did and she knew nothing about it once I got there and have a big gap in my hand and I have an interview tomorrow please call me at [protected] or at my email at [protected]@gmail.com
I can't understand why she said she knew how to do a comb-over over the phone and then when I got there she completely ruined it
I have an interview tomorrow and I'm gonna have to go in there looking like this

SmartStyle Service

My son is 4 years of age he was refused a hair cut being to him not being able to wear a mask. My son has asthma and breathing problem s which I tried to calmly explained to the stylist before she called security and asked me to leave. I then asked for a way to contact upper management and she refused as well. I feel the stylist was very unprofessional and rude and make a huge deal over something so small. If nothing is done to resolve this issue

SmartStyle Hair products

Manager at Sylacauga Walmart, 35150 was unfair with her pricing of the following: told to pay full price for Nioxin Cleanser then would be able to pay 1/2 price for Nioxin scalp therapy. I wanted to pay full price for the $20 item, then pay 1/2 for $24 item. Very disappointed with customer service. I now will shop elsewhere. Thank you.

SmartStyle Hair cut and perm

I have typed 3 times. Went to get service yesterday.

Hair cut awful. No curls... Look like heck.

What can I do. I went in today to get refund on mastercard and the stylist said no, we don't give refund. Didn't offer to correct the terrible mess he made.

Please help. I am 88 and look like #1 scarecrow for halloween.

You say message too short. Well, here goes. I went in today, nov. 12, stylist said no refund. I wasn't about to let him do anything because he isn't qualified or I could at least see one curl today. Hair is so awful that a stylist told me today she would fix it and not charge.

When I pay $72 for service I expect to leave satisfied. After he wet and rinsed hair, took off towel, asked if I wanted blow dry. I said no (I knew what would happen) and he didn't offer to pick, comb or brush hair. I walked out in the dark cool air - at 6:30 pm-

what do I do now. A stylist has offered to fix it but I can not afford to pay twice. 2 yrs ago I went in same place, different stylist-a lady, she rolled my hair for perm, then cut loose hair with razor so it would stay on curler. That was about 2 yrs ago. This time different stylist and I gave him a chance. But, will not be back-along with lots of others at this salon.

Please respond.

I went in to smart style, clifford st, white settlement. I told the stylist I wanted hair cut and perm.

What I got is a total disaster. Haircut awful, no curls.
I have gotten perms since 1940. This is worst of them all. Hair is so awful that I am ashamed to go out.

I just paid $274 for a perm three days ago, that is now just wavy and straight…I am so disappointed. I haven’t written twice to get some kind of resolution in this, but not even a reply. How the heck are they still even getting any business? Between the horrible perm and customer service…please don’t go there!

SmartStyle Owner smart styles

We went to Smart Styles for a haircut. ShellyManager is very unprofessional and has butched off almost all of my grandchilds hair. We are devasted and he had to attend the first day of school like this. We requested a taper cut, long on top. 1st photo before cut. 2nd photo 5 days after the cut. 3rd photo was shown as an example of what is wanted.

SmartStyle Hair

I had all blond hair about bleach blond hair color. Went in to add some brown. Showd the woman the photo that I wanted, her and another employee went over what needee to be done. Plus I wanted it thinned and trimmed. I was there from 1pm untill 630pm. I walked out with bangs that were ridiculously short, and all brown hair no blond was left. I was charged $237.00 she charged me 40$ for blond she had to mix together and 10$ for each mic of brown she used. She charged me 25$ for toner. Mind you my hair was already blond. But there's no blond left in ny hair. So why was tbere blond mixed up and why was there toner used. I went home and had to re thin cut and fix my hair cut. Im not sure what she even thinned or thrimmed. She kept telling me she doesnt like to thin hair. Even knoe thats one of the biggest things I wanted done. I have photos of before and after abd the photo of the colors I wanted my hair to resemble if your interested in seeing them also.

SmartStyle Brow wax

I had came in for a brow wax on 9/19/2020 didnt know the stylish would be referring to her self as 3rd party at my visit today. I had explained to her that I am highly extremely Sensitive skin to heat an sun. That I can only wax once a year cause of my skin condition an she said o me too referring to her self again. So I end up as u can see braking out w a rash of a burn. Because she didnt do what I told her to do.

SmartStyle Perm

I have short hair and wanted a body perm. I went to Utica NY 13502 the end of July. The stylist put the rods in my hair and then took all of them out and put larger rods in. One month later I have straight hair! Tried to contact corporate about it but no answer. 62 dollars for nothing on a fixed income! Also a hair cut came with it and the stylist never even asked. I had to go back in a week to ask for a trim.

SmartStyle Store opening

Smartstyle in Humble on E Sam Houston PKWY. I had an appointment for 11am and the store wasn't open. I waited until 11:20 and noone still hadn't shown up. This is the second time I had a problem here. Last time the woman didn't show up for work. Management needs to look into the professionalism of the employees here. Thanks I hope a better outcome comes from this.

SmartStyle Spent almost $500 to get hair black, no refund

On 6/4 I went to waverly IA smartstyle asked for black w blond highlights I ended up with black roots blonde middle and orange bottom FROM THE MANIGER janice I spent 4hrs at cedar falls smart style getting it fixed by maresa(best hair stylist ever) all in all cost me almost $500 and 2 days just to get get what I asked for no refund horrible company

SmartStyle Wash, Deep Conditioner, and Detangle

Myself and 10 year old daughter went into our local wal mart on 3/2/2020 around 4:30pm. Requesting a wash, deep conditioner, & detangle for her hair. The hair stylist was very confident & reassured myself as well as my daughter that she would still have her long pretty hair & wouldn't chop off tangled pieces! We waited patiently for the service. She began working on my daughters hair. 45min into the service, I noticed my daughters hair looked strange. I went up to the chair which she was sitting & noticed the hair stylist cut all the tangled pieces out and my daughters hair was super short! The stylist stated, "well it was very tangled and i told you I had to cut through it." Not once did she ask if it was okay to cut my daughters hair! Her manager Gaysha was contacted and she was not compassionate at all! She told me, "Well you don't have to pay for the service and you can bring her in tomorrow to see what I can do." The hair stylist who chopped off my daughters hair apologizes and asked if I wanted to even out the cut. I stated no! It shouldn't have been cut in the first place. The reason I trusted Smartstyle to do my daughters hair is because each worker is licensed and I felt that the hair stylist could do her job! I'm a single mother of one living child and currently 7 months pregnant with twin boys. I wanted to pay someone who I trusted for the service instead of doing it myself only because of my work schedule. I'm beyond hurt and disappointed! The emotional pain and hurt my daughter is feeling now she shouldn't be feeling! I'm beyond disappointed with the service we received!

SmartStyle haircuts

I went to the smartstyle in Hamburg pa. My fiancé and children All got our haircuts, they all came out crooked looking . The management is awful, the boss grabbed my kid by her face telling her to straighten her face or she's going to hold her by it pushing on her face hard and squeezing her. then proceeded to show me what to do if she don't sit still by grabbing my face . I am so disgusted and honestly would like a refund of my money back for the services . This lady is arrogant and rude and shouldn't be allowed to work in an environment that has a dog in it let alone a child!

SmartStyle hair service of color

I just wanted my hair a lighter brown, we agreed that she would lighten it then but a darker color, the hair applation was spotty and my hair was very burnt and damaged, the roots were a lot lighter then everywhere else because she applied it like a regular hair color not bleach, then when I saw it she told me it was my fault because I didn't let it process, all what happen was she said how are you I said I was itchy. That wasn't code for wash me out . She asked me are you ready to be washed out I said yes . Then after ward she told that because of that it was my fault . I told the salon owner this and he just said I was lying and that there's nothing he would do and because I had a baby it was my fault and took long, but she was quite the whole time and my husband was talking care of her so she was not a problem. They way that they called me a lair and conducted themselves was so unprofessional, I'll add photos below the one of my dark hair was before and the orange was after .

SmartStyle haircut / poor customer services

Hello Smart style / (DBA Regis Corporation),

I am contacting the company due to poor service for a customer that was not satisfied with the hair cut and customer service. I visited the salon at the Walmart location called Smart Style by Regis Corporation on
December 31, 2019 at 4:15 pm. The stylist by the name (Lalita R.) was cutting a young mans hair. I asked could I get a hair cut for the new year? As this was very important to me to have for the New Year 2020. She stated that she had another lady waiting and asked me to have a seat. I waited as did the other customer. After completing the mans hair she went up to the register and rung up the man taking his money; then she returned to the chair and started on the layered cut for the young girl with brunet long hair. After finishing she went up to the register again taking her money. These was very quick cuts only to the front of the ladies hair. Alright now time for my service for a hair cut; it was around 4:35 pm ish. She asked me to wait a minute and went to ring up someone on the register that wanted to purchase items from the store paying with a credit card. She explain that it will take a moment; I said alright. I explained the type of cut I wanted and she said; "Yes, I do that type of cut all the time". My hair was in a small bob length and plenty of hair around my ears and on my neck. I asked her to take a little off and she shaved it off around the back and ears; leaving me with a mess, cutting the top in 3 different lengths. I am truly disappointed and unsatisfied with the cut and service that I received at Smart Style by Regis. She knew that I was not happy; she started saying that she was late and had to go meet her family for dinner at the Mexican restaurant were she live. She asked for the money and I gave her $20.00 at the register, she told me that the hair cut cost $17.00 before. She did not give me no change or receipt. I should have never been charged for the hair cut because, it was not complete or satisfactory service. She started gathering up her stuff stating; " I'm late and you can come back on Tuesday, and Reginald can fix it for you he is one of the managers here. I express that I am not satisfied with this service and she was locking the gate to the facility; then walking down with me continuing to say, " it will be fine and he will fix it for you or give you your money back, because he the only one that can do that." I have several people say me getting this hair cut and the condition of it, I also had to go get it cut shorter due to the several lengths. My hair is 1 1/2 inches on the top now and and less than an 1/2 inch on the side shaved. If I wanted this type of cut i would have asked for it. I stopped back by asking the person in charge for my receipt and management information so I could contact the home office due to this issue. This is when I talked to a lady with the gray wig name Lonnita (management fill in) she told me that it was not in the system for me having service since May 2019. She also showed me the computer that it was never enter and to ask if this was my correct telephone number under my name. I said, "Yes". Ms. Lonnita explained on 1-9-2020 at Smart Styles that she would let the district manager (Tammy) know of this issue so she can help. I stopped back by the store on 1-10-2020 to ask the manager Reginald on duty if this was reported to Tammy. He listened to the complaint and explained that he would call the district manager to see if he can refund my money back and if she was informed of the problem. He called on his cell phone the lady Tammy and she said she did not know of any of these issues going on. Reginald was trying to explain everything to her; I asked to talk to Ms. Tammy and she seemed to have been frustrated and upset of finding this problem out and not been informed. I can understand this; but not being rude to me as the customer was the best approach. I am the customer and patron to the salon receiving service; I didn't know that these issues was going on with this employee. I have had great hair cuts from other stylist there; unfortunately they are not there now, and that is alright. I trusted Smart Style by Regis to provide me with service I can count on, and this was an horrific experience for me. I really don't appreciate giving my money to an organization and it be taken and used for another reason. It is as simple as me issuing this complaint and would like a full refund of my money; no I can not get my hair back this will take time to grow. Please help in this matter as this salon is struggling in Roxboro NC. You are welcome to correspond with me by email and if you can provide a number I will reach out to you via telephone. I am not comfortable in giving out my new telephone number as I have given out my money and no good results.

* Bottom line my hair is cut off and money missing from the corporation I ask for services from as a patron.

SmartStyle cheated for a simple trim

I've been to Walmart salons before but I've never felt cheated as I did today

She wet my hair, but didn't dry it, a ploy to get more money no doubt. So I said I'd dry it but she wouldn't let me use her dryer and she said she'd do it for a dollar more. I said ok
When I went to pay, instead the special price of $15, the bill was $33! I protested. She said it was because I had it dried which moves it to another category. (If that was the case, why didn't she shampoo my hair which is also included?).
The Mgr stood right beside her and argued me down and repeated several times their side as if she really wasn't sure if she was right.
The dispute became heated and our voices were loud. They insisted they told of the price change, I said I heard $1 more. After all, that is all she did, dry it. No shampoo for the extra $15 plus tax totaling $34 in stead the $15 I was expecting.
I paid and left and complained to the manager of Walmart, but then she told me in so many words that she knew the salon manager, they are friends. So I knew my complaint would not carry weight with her. Besides you are separate from Walmart.
I am extremely upset. They were rude and argued me down. I heard her say $1 more and then $7 more at the register. But the bill was 2xs what I agreed to.
It was clear to everyone I was surprised at the bill and obviously didn't know it was going to be $34.
As we were arguing a customer was approached and the Mgr said to me, "Have a blessed day." What? That's rich coming from someone who just cheated me.

I will NEVER go there again. Women who are hungry for a dollar and do half the job are not who I want to give my money to.
If she really said a different price, then she didn't give the full treatment which includes a shampoo. When I said yes to a dollar more, there was no offer of a shampoo and I didn't get one as a result. So again, I paid for something I didn't get.
The bill does not even reflect what I requested- a simple cut. I didn't ask for the shampoo and add on which is listed. That is NOT TRUE. I simple requested a cut just like the girl before me. For $15.
They are cheaters, scammers, and so hungry for money they are dishonest. I've learned my lesson. I will never use Smart Style salons.

SmartStyle highlight

On December 21st @ 11:30 am I went to the salon to have my highlights touched up due to regrowth.
The technician was very polite and very gentle. I am not dissatisfied with her but her technique and the results are unsatisfactory. I have had highlights many years and this was the first time my highlights did not go to my scalp. I feel like she concerned herself with covering the gray. I paid $90+ with tip and spent 3 long hours in the chair. I can provide pictures and the technician also took before and after on her phone. I live 2 hours away and can't easily return to get it fixed.

SmartStyle haircut service

I came to smartstyle to get a haircut and arrived at 4:15pm the store closes at 6 p.m. the hair stylist told me that she was unable to cut my hair because she had 4 people in front of me and no one else was in the store. I felt like this was a bit ridiculous. I arrived nearly two hours before the store closed and have never had anything like this occur at smartstyle. Truly don't understand this one.
