I have been waiting over a month to have my ice maker repaired. I am a MPP subscriber for over 15 years. Initially a repairman came and said I needed a part - which they apparently can't get. I've been scheduled several times for a repair, but they cancel because the part is unavailable. I tried to call to speak with a rep. but cannot speak to a live representative - am constantly answered by an AI rep. when I call the numbers listed on the Sears site, they always end up be answered by AI.
Claimed loss: I've paid over $3700 for a 5-year service agreement which runs through 2028 that is useless - I cannot get the service I paid for.
Desired outcome: Either have my refrigerator repaired or replaced as is stipulated in my service agreement.

We have had a Sears Master Protection Plan for many years covering our furnace and AC, water heater, range and refrigerator. Once a year we call and schedule the techs. to come and inspect these units. This year 2 different techs. came and checked the range and other appliances but not the refrigerator.
We rescheduled the refer. and no one came. Again we rescheduled and no one came. We have been rescheduled 8 times now. Starting in April of this year and the latest was today, August 26. Previously our ice maker was down for 2 years. The part was on backorder and the only was it was finally replaced was when I mentioned to the tech. that year how long we had been waiting for a part and he said; “Oh, I think I have one on the truck. When I reschedule I am always told how sorry they are. Yes, they are.
