The courier didn't even knock - I know because I took a day off work to make sure I didn't miss the delivery. So I complained, explained the situation and requested a re-delivery. The same thing happened - no knock, no call, just a slip. Before I could complain again, Purolator sent the item back to the vendor.
Lost a days worth of wages, hours of my time waiting on hold, and missed out on savings from a sale that's not on anymore. Completely unnacceptable.
Desired outcome: I would like the item to be delivered to me. I would like my express shipping fee to be waived, and I want to know what steps are being taken to address this problem so that other people do not have to go through this.
I would like to work together to find a resolution on this matter, however it would be more meaningful to me if we put our energies into resolving a similar incident of greater urgency where 1) the shipment was delayed for several days due to a "missed connection" (despite paying for express) 2) the package was not delivered 3) The courier marked the package delivered 4) Purolator agents have not gotten back to me as to the outcome of their investigation - i.e. no one knows where the package is.
The package has expiring items inside of it, there is a high likelihood that by the time I receive the package the contents will be unusable. I am very concerned about this because the contents are not easily replaceable. Is this something you can help me with or do I need to submit a separate complaint? Please advise.

Delivery or failure of!
For the third time your hopeless driver failed to read delivery instructions for a package of frozen meat. the other times I had to take the half day away from work nd drive 25 kms to collect t from Oeillia, this time they never tried to deliver, I was in but they just left truck with a door label and drove off. this was 1PM thursday, I am supposed to collect the rancid ruined meat on monday the 2nd, what utter [censored]ing good is that? You now owe me 3 $150 instances of loss of wages and 150kms driving costs. Please mark my address and refuse to accept any deliveries as I will impound your truck and put a lein on it. You are an utter incompetent disgrace and your driver and one agent are liars as they claimed a signature was required.

I'm leaving in a old building where there no buzzer to enter. I'm amking sure to put my information so , when i'm waiting for a delivery, the delivery man can call me so I can open the door. I'm also changeing my time schedule so i will be there at home. We add the important delivery information - Téléphoner pour ouvrir/ Call to open, and no one has attempted to call me. The thing is we are paying for an express delivery that, because of this mistake, is not that expess anymore. I don't have a car, I can't pick it up. That's really disapointing from your staff.
The item is also fragile, i hope that those detour won't damage the package

For the second time out of 2 deliveries the driver failed to rad the delivery label and left a door sticker, its frozen meat and in an insulated box with ice packs, they are taking it to a service centre by 12 tomorrow, that means a day of work to collect a box of spoiled meat. The delivery label says leave at rear door. This is now $500 of meat ruined and 2 lost days off work all because the driver cannot read instructions.
This is wholly unacceptable, the first time maye the driver was trying to help but there is no excuse the second time.

I ordered a lawnmower from Lowes and the sent it to me by Purolator. Tuesday, August1, 2023 @ 8:56 AM I was home. They did not even ring my doorbell! I was upstairs so if they knocked I would have not have heard it. I came downstairs and saw the sticker taped on my storm door. That I missed them! I was PISSED! I drive a Nissan 350Z so there's no way that the box would fit in my car! That was the whole point of me buying it on line and having it delivered to my house. So I had to bother my elderly dad who is 75 years old to drive me across the city 20 minutes away. I must say absolutely horrible service! If your not going to ring my door bell then call that I know hat you are at my door! Or message me on my phone that you are at my door! You had ways to contact me so I know that you are at my door! How else am I supposed to know that you are at my door? IF YOU DO NOT RING MY DOORBELL?! YOU DON'T JUST PUT A STICKER ON MY SCREEN DOOR TELLING ME THAT I MISSED YOU! You are there to deliver a package that needs a signature so deliver it PROPERLY!

International shipping
On July 13th 2023 I paid 179.18 to ship a small package to the Philippines, I paid for the 4 day shipping option! Here it is July 21st 2023 Packages is still not delivered. The package contained my daughter's passport and visa documents so she could come home. My daughter had to cancel her flight home, costing us over $4000.00 in airfare, Purolator handed the package off to UPS, in the USA My daughter is stranded Not only are we out $179.18 for the less than 1lb package we are out the cost of airfare and the cost of all the documents my daughter needed to travel home to Canada.
As you can see by the Photos the Package sat one Province over for 4 Days alone, the Package Should have been DELIVERED by the July 17th, 2023 July 18th 2023 at the very latest!
DON'T PROMISE SOMETHING YOU CAN NOT DO, DON'T CHARGE FOR IT EITHER!
Desired outcome: 1. The Package Delivered IMMEDIATELY like TODAY July 22, 2023 no matter what day it is! or We want compensation for the lost/stolen items, about $8000.002. a REFUND of the $179.18 We paid in CASH!
Time to deliver
Once again I had an Amazon shipment delayed because Purolator was the chosen carrier. Almost every time Purolator is picked over Intelcom I have to complain to Amazon because the shipment does not come the day it is supposed to.
This time, I was supposed to have the package on thursday, July 6th. After some delay for picking up the item on the 6th instead of the 5th when it was ready, the delivery was pushed to the next day, friday the 7th. Delayed, as usual, no surprise there. But then, lo and behold, it was pushed again on friday when it became clear that I would not have the package by 8pm as promised. The new delivery date? Monday OR tuesday! Because of course, Purolator does not deliver on weekends in my area, like it's the early 2000s, despite me living in a 230k population urban area. 5 days to deliver an item 1.5 hour drive from my home. No forest fire, no bad weather.
Meanwhile, I made another order on Amazon saturday (July 8th) and got the items the next day. Same distance. 24 hour delivery. During the weekend. The carrier : Intelcom.
So this is my complaint : Purolator is too slow to deliver items. I paid for two day shipping on Amazon, they paid Purolator for two day shipping, but they just can't make it time after time after time in my area. Other carriers have gotten with the times : 7/7 days deliveries and they do it fast. No wonder people joke about the name Puro"later"...
Local courier personnel not delivering parcels
I am writing to register a complaint against my local courier personnel who has been getting away with not doing their job and just leaving with sticking labels on the door. This is not just a one-time case but has been a recurring event. I work in the evening and am usually present at home in the morning. I have never received a call or a knock on the door when the person comes for delivery and then sometime later to find a sticker on the door.
In case this happened, usually the pickup location used to be the closest one near Scarborough GO station but this time the location is more than 25 minutes away by car. What is the point of paying you for the delivery service if I have to spend my time and money to come and pick it up? The service has been disappointing every time and it has only been becoming worse day after day. I request you to look into this matter and do the needful.

Anytime I have used Purolator as my courier company I have been disappointed. I am at home and the courier doesn’t wait enough time for me to get to my door and retrieve my package. The courier leaves and then I am told I have to pick up my item at a location that is 30 minutes away. What is the point of having a package delivered if I have to leave my home, drive for 30 minutes and have to wait until the next day to get it! Also, there are several purolators around me but I have to travel far to get my package. This is terrible service. They are useless and I will never use this company again.

There are 3 things you can count on with Purolator
...#1 the original date that you were given for delivery by the shipper will be missed with some lame excuse give by purlator, in this case it was a missed connection...really Purolator, thats like saying hey we were going to delivery your package but we're incompetant and lazy so...sorry, not sorry. Well at least it isn't as half-arsed as the reason for the delay they gave with my last item delivered, which was "your street was blocked" come on how lazy can your drivers be...take a one block detour!
#2 the driver will not attempt delivery but instead will put "no one was home" in the system...100% guarantee the driver...never...rings...your door bell, and in my case this came true once again, no driver came to my door to buzz. I found out only when I checked and saw the status. The morning of the 7th ...out for delivery...when I checked again 90 min later the dreaded "attempted delivery" yet no one except for the fedex guy who delivered another package that morning (and called ahead to make sure I was home) rang my doorbell. So unless m,y doorbell stopped working in between, or i blacked out and lost time (sarcasm) they didnt attempt delivery. Now I have the come-pick-it-up-at-a-location-far-away-from-you status. And this is even after contacting customer service and being told that my package would be requested for delivery today July 11.
#3 the response from the customer service team monitoring review services like this will be canned starting with " Hello "name you've given for the review", thank you for taking the time to write this review. We apologize for any inconvenience stemming from this incident...Chances are my air conditioner will go back to best buy and I will have to wait for a refund.
Honorable mentions for things you can count on with Purolator: drivers who park on crosswalks forcing pedestrians out into traffic, unhelpful telephone CS agents, and slow or no updates on the website, which they always direct you to check. If you're buying something from a vendor ask what shipping service they use, if...like Bestbuy.ca they use Purolator, shop somewhere else if it's time sensitive or you want to retain your sanity. Anything you buy no matter how good the deal is, if you never receive it is too expensive, and a delivery service that doesnt deliver is less that useless.
Lost package... Again!
On May 23, 2023, I dropped my Purolator Envelope with a preprinted/manual label off at Staples, like I do every week since the office on Adelaide has been closed. On May 31st, my office informed me that they have received my paperwork/pay packet for the week of May 22nd but the packet for the week of May 15th had not been delivered. I contacted Purolator right away (May 31) to start a trace. On June 2nd, I received the generic "We are continuing our investigation into the status of your shipment and require additional details in order for us to perform a more thorough search." I provided all the necessary photos and details. Cathy, the tracking specialist and I went back and for via email and the package was eventually located and successfully delivered on June 8th.
Purolator invoiced me and charged my credit card for services before the package was located and delivered. I had to contact them and request a credit.
Since this was a manual waybill, locating the package was apparently more challenging; so I signed up for Purolator on-line shipping. On June 12, we tried it for the first time. On June 19, I was once again contacted by my office to let me know that my pay packet was not received. Since we are now using the online program, we traced the package and can see that it has been lost after arriving at the Etobicoke sorting facility. I started the trace on June 19 and received the standard email requesting more details. Then on June 22 after only three days of searching, I received an email from Crystal that they can't find it and they are closing the file. They only searched for the package for three days, when they lost the previous package they searched until they found it. I also received and invoice and my credit card was charged for a package that is lost in their sorting facility. I had to contact them again for a credit. This has been a very expensive lesson for me. My employer charges $50/week for late paperwork. Since this is my pay packet, they can't process my wages I am given a portion of my pay until the paperwork is delivered. This is not acceptable service. I have bills and a mortgage that need to be paid. I need my pay packet found and delivered to the intended recipient. Three days of searching is not sufficient.

Purolator lost my package. It says it cleared customs on November 24 and no news no updates. Started a trace and was told it was still with customs. Called to get an update and was said it is lost in the warehouse. How is it lost ? It’s in a shoe box with a huge label. Purolator please reach out to help. I have shipped with all sorts of couriers and they are the first to lose a package.

I made my initial return shipment using Purolator on June 13. Company neglected to print waybills and phone Purolator for pick up. Remade waybills and sent again on June 15. Items were urgently needed for June16, 3 p.m. event. Requested by phone for a 12:00 delivery. Assured 1st by Vanessa, at 8:00a.m. (June 16), then again at 1:15 (June 16) by Darren. Case #[protected]. Darren told me the boxes were on the truck at 9:20 a.m., locally. Boxes were delivered at 2:49, by our usual driver that starts his run/day at 12:00 - noon. The boxes contained 100 porcelain bowls for a banquet that was to be ready for 3:00. Approximately 10% broken during shipping. p.m.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response, and I had better not be charged for 12:00 delivery!

Purolator Driver
It happened june 13, 2023 around 11:15 a.M. The driver who is supposed to pick up a package from us and to deliver to our customer in calgary with the license plate no. L833472 was rude and even throw the box inside his truck and gor mad with me and my colleague. The reason is when he came we asked him to just wait for 2 minutes because we just need to put the garment in the box. He got so frustrated and he doesn't want to wait. If his really in a rush and want to leave that is fine. He just have to say it nicely and professionally
This behaviour of a driver who is doing a pick up to a customer is not an excuse.

Package delivery
Purolator is the WORST courier company. It's third time when package when driver went away today on May 31, 2023 and an important package was not delivered on time. Based on previous experience with Purolator, I called up customer care on May 30th, 2023 at 5:56 PM and added a note that buzzer is not working so please call me on my mobile and gave them mobile number as well. This call lasted for 8 minutes and in the end got the confirmation as well that driver will call once arrive but he just left.
To make things worse, their customer care is pathetic. It literally takes 30-40 minutes to connect with agent who are not only unprofessional but arrogant as well. Reference number is [protected]. Their agent Jennie literally lied and denied that I didn't called Purolator on May 30th and no phone number was given for driver, then when I shared the time stamp of my call with customer care on May 30th, she confirmed that my number is there and asked me to go to their store which is 58 KMs far for pick up. Why premium fees was taken If i have to spend $100 in taxi to go and pick up package? I told her that it's very important document which I need urgently , she clearly said there is 0 gurantee that package will be delivered today. I told her to connect with her manager, she said that manager don't have time and she can arrange call back at convenience. When I asked email id to file complaint she just hang up the phone. Worst agent and worst company.
After around 1 hour, I again called back and to connect with Jennie's manager. But after getting the context, they just disconnected the call!
Desired outcome: I want an apology and full refund of the money.

Purolator fraud/misrepresentation
We were told our sign (not artwork as they say now) was totally insured for replacement cost when speaking on the phone to a purolator employee, yes it was damaged and they gave us the run around saying it was improperly packaged and when they saw that wasn't working they then tried to say it was art, even after ruining the customers sign (not art) they won't come good on their promise. It's right in our name canada woodworks & signage, we are a sign company not an art company... Go figure? We have spoken with several staff members including rebekah cisse as well as the national manager claims preet noorpuri, both were left scrambling for answers both were not qualified to do their job. Both had told us claim declined even though they had zero information about the claim at the time. We have now started an online campaign to educate the public as to purolator's practices of conducting business. Please be aware of what they are able hide with their millions of dollars profit in advertising. We hope this helps at the very least one single person but so far from our social media post we have 128 people that have stopped using purolator. After the social media campaign our lawyer will be suing. Thankfully 2 ex employees have reached out to us and 1 current employee to make us aware of company practices on dealing with a claim.

Delivered to wrong town!
Purolator claims delivery was attempted on April 11 around noon. I was home. No attempted was made. Then they claimed it was because they don't have a buzzer number for my building. No buzzer exists. Front door is always open to the building. No signature was required for the order. Then they hung up. They called back a few minutes later and didn't speak a single word before hanging up again.
I had to spend $30 to obtain a ride to Windermere from Fairmont Hot Springs and back to pick up the item. For an item that was only $65 to begin with.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement for my cost of travel, stress, time wasted, and Terrible customer service. Worst delivery company ever!

i order a computer for someone who was coming to help me for about a week. your eta was that i was supposed to receive the packages between march 13th to march 15th. we are march 16th still nothing i contacted the place where i bought my product from they apologize and refund me the delivery fees. Then i chat with your costumer service on purolator website now the lady is telling me that my package is still in a warehouse somewhere and that tomorrow the 17th it should leave that place to go to another place so she think that probably i should receive my package tuesday march 21th ? and what kind of time frame for us to wait between 8am and 9pm and when i told that to the chat person she just answer me that purolator dont pay for the time waste waiting for our delivery and she right away put the message to have a nice day with the survey link and she ended the chat. from all the reviews that i can read on the internet i really dont understand that you are still in business most be gouverment who keep you open because any other companies offering such bad service they will surely have to close their doors

Home Delivery from an Amazon order
The box arrived with many tears and was re-taped to hold it together. The main complaint is that the driver dropped or threw the box into the porch, it was heard from inside the house. There were 4 plastic bottles that got dented and 2 had the content leeking out. This happened on 09 Mar 2023 in the afternoon. The Amazon order # is [protected] , and the tracking # was EVR000593301.
