On September 5, 2023, I went to the post office at Grays IDA in Napanee, Ontario to ship a parcel overnight to my son. They advised that they could only do a 2 day delivery, and that I would need to drive to Belleville or Kingston Purolator location to ensure my package arrived the next day. I then drove to your Belleville, Ontario location on September 5, 2023, and shipped the parcel to Pembroke, Ontario, and paid for the parcel to arrive by 5pm the next day. The PIN is [protected]. The parcel was not delivered to the Pembroke address on September 6, 7,8, 9, 10. I tracked the package on the 8th, and realized that it was waiting for pickup in Pembroke, and my son would be required to secure transportation to travel to your Pembroke location to pick up the parcel.
I sent an email about this via your website, and received a message that it would take up to 72 hours for a reply. I never received a reply. We spent hours in travel, and paid $79.88 for next day delivery.

Hello, The delay far exceeded the time lapse due to mechanical delays. I can see that there was a delay for mechanical reasons on September 6, service resumed later the same day. I can see a second delay occurred on September 7, and service resumed within a few hours at 3:39 am on September 7th. It was on a vehicle for deliver at 5:40 am on September 8th and did not arrive at the destination.
Based on this, I woudl request reconsderation of the request to refund the charge.
Purolator - ridiculous policies - or incompetent employees?
For a company that offers speedy service and presumed professional behaviour, I am incredibly displeased with my recent encounter with Purolator.
