This company is who bills you after you sign up on freecreditreport.com. Their television commercials say "Offer applies with enrollment in Triple Advantage". Also, their website says you get a free seven day trial and you'll be billed if you don't cancel within 7 days. It's sad that their customer service is so rude, but I doubt you'll get your money back since their terms and conditions are pretty well spelled out. Now, if you never ordered a credit report, that's a whole different story.
Maybe I'm wrong but my understanding of freecreditreport.com is that they give you your credit report for free. By getting this free credit report, you enroll in a credit monitoring service (which is why their tv commercials say "Offer applies with enrollment in Triple Advantage"). My thought is that what you've been charged for is the credit monitoring from all three credit bureaus, so that you're alerted when your credit reports are modified. Again, I believe that you, in fact, have not been charged for your credit report itself, but for the credit monitoring. Just contact freecreditreport.com and cancel your memberships if you haven't done so already.
Maybe don't smoke? Sounds like a pretty good solution to me. Imagine all the money you'll save and the damage on your body you'll reverse!
Funny enough, I just Googled the address and nothing comes up. Idiots.
According to the fine print, you have 3 days to cancel and get a refund, but I'll still be surprised if you get a refund. These people are a bunch of a-holes and not only exploit the people they're selling magazines to, but also the ones who go door to door. They usually aren't in on the scam, or they're told exactly what to do/say and are just desperate to earn money.
Yeah, there's a lot of scam companies whose charges show up on Verizon's bills. Fortunately, it should note that your service won't be cut off if you don't pay the dishonest charges. In my experience, the billed services are cancelled and money credited back. It is quite a hassle, though.
Just contact them to cancel your membership.

Since you're on the Do Not Call list, go here: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
If I remember correctly, it's a bit of a hassle to fill out the form but totally worth it. I was one of the many people who got stupid calls about my car warranty expiring (when I didn't have a warranty) and I filed this form every single time I got the call. They eventually stopped and I haven't heard from them since. :]
If you Google that phone number, I'm sure there are other tactics you can use as well. Good luck!
No. This is simply a forum where people can post their complaints. Nothing on here is forwarded to the company about whom you're complaining. You'd be better off contacting people at that channel rather than here.
No one from AA is going to respond to this complaint. The purpose of this board is for people to vent about how they've been wronged. If you're posting to let others know what happened - awesome, thank you. But if you expect resolution, it won't come from posting here; you should direct your letter to AA itself.

People keep leaving this comment on those "complaints" but they just don't listen. The way I see it, those lacking common sense deserve to get duped. Obviously they're not going to learn otherwise.
Also, make sure that they don't now have your SSN.
Most places (I know Walmart) have signs on their cart racks in the parking lot that inform customers that the place of business does not accept liability. Basically, they're telling you to park there at your own risk. For this reason alone, I doubt you'll get anywhere with them.
Why not just stop smoking? No more gross taste in your mouth OR wasting money - and think of how many years you'll add to your life!
Don't know if this will help:

The company I work for had the same thing happen to one of our Verizon accounts. I was able to get Silv to cancel their service but, unbeknownst to me, all the long distance service was canceled. Since I only pay the bill (and am not the one who agreed to Silv's offer), I had no idea that they became the long distance provider. Just be careful when you cancel with them - call Qwest and get your long distance turned back on!
Your post is now on a public forum, which means everyone has access to your credit card number. The complaint isn't going to whoever charged your card. I recommend you click on the "e-mail" link on the bottom of this page to have your post removed.
Maybe publicizing your credit card number is how you ended up with charges you don't remember authorizing.
If you're on the DNC list, make a complaint about a violation:

and:

That last one on the FCC website is what I always used. It takes a while to fill out all the information, but it's worth it.
According to the Verizon bills I pay at work, they specify that your phone service won't be cut off for failure to pay third party charges. Just don't pay them...or pay them and wait for the credit(s).
Yeah, this could explain the miscellaneous charges on your card...
I see this with our Verizon bills at work all the time. If these charges are so legit, I'd love to know why they don't put up a fight about issuing a refund.
This is a known scam going around now. I would contact the authorities wherever you are in London because I highly doubt MSN or hotmail will tell you anything.
Really? It's a television show. If it actually impacts your life in some way, I suggest finding a hobby.
First, run a virus scan. Second, download Mozilla Firefox. IE sucks.
