Just look at your bill. It will spell out all the charges. If that isn't clear enough, just go talk to someone at a Verizon store or call customer service
Have you tried going to a Verizon Wireless store? I find that calling them gets me nowhere but talking face-to-face with someone typically helps.
Look at all the other complaints on this website about those goons. Good luck getting your money back. I don't know that anyone has had any success.
I realize this might be a novel concept, but why not just block her (at least on MySpace and via e-mail) - or ignore her altogether? And how does she have a phone number to reach you?
I've had to call about these third party charges at work many times. I don't call Verizon; I call the other party. The other party can't add charges to your bill without some sort of authorization. Next time, ask them who authorized the charge. Although they do seem sleazy, they do credit back the charges, which makes them seem even less legitimate.
If the worst thing you have going is that someone "stole" something from some stupid game, I wish I had your problems.
Also, I do believe that most businesses in this country are equal opportunity employers. While I agree that they should have staff on hand who speak the dominant language of the area, you seem to be posting from an area called "Las Cruces" which sounds like Spanish to me. On the other hand, I do find it hard to believe that there was absolutely no English speaking associates in the entire store.
Why would you respond to a solicitation? If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. What you should have done was looked at the bottom of the fax, found the "remove me" phone number, and called that instead.
Do you have an office near you? I find that when I have a billing dispute, they're generally more helpful than calling customer service.
So dont pay it. Get confirmation from them who OK'd the order of the publication and tell them you aren't going to pay it until you get it. It's amazing how many people drop their requests for payment when you actually ask for proof of the order.
Complaints Board isn't going to do anything; it's a forum to post frustrations and in no way solves your problems for you.
If you gave them your cc info for shipping, check your account. Sounds like a pretty obvious scam to me.
Posting on this website won't solve your problem; it's merely a forum. You need to contact Comcast directly to have this issue resolved.
I disagree with the USPS recommendation. I ordered something on eBay on 12/16 and it has just been aimlessly floating around Illinois for the last week. I live in Maryland and didn't think ANYTHING took a week to get here from Illinois, much less the small thing I ordered.
Have you tried contacting Netflix and explaining the circumstances? Even if they won't deliver DVDs, you can watch a lot of the movies online.
They're one of those shady companies who calls offering a service free for x number of days and then starts charging after that timeframe is up. Just look at your bill and see what pages the "other charges" begin on. It will outline what the charges are for (usually in a few letters like "mnthlylstng" or something like that) and call the phone number on the right side of the page. They'll usually refund at least the current charge if not more. Typically, there will be one charge following but they credit that too. The fact that they so easily and quickly refund what they've charged shows that they aren't legitimate.
Ugh...you're so lucky. I would give my right arm to switch from Comcast but I can't because my apartment complex doesn't allow satellite dishes. I absolutely despise Comcast but they have a monopoly in my area and IT SUCKS.
Why are you just now saying something when this happened almost a year and a half ago?
They're all idiots and I hate that they have a monopoly in my area. Sorry you had such a bad experience but find solace in the fact that you're certainly not alone!
You're not going to get a response from CVS by posting on here. This is merely a forum and nothing posted reaches the company about which you're complaining.
I agree with you (the poster, not jimmy). Many people who have used the site say the same thing. I used eHarmony and only had actual communication with a few people. I also never got responses after the communication passed the stage where auto-responses could be generated. I only used it for a couple of months and never will again. Try singlesnet
I see these charges all the time at work. If you didn't pay it when you first saw it, they probably will charge you a late fee. But are you sure it wasn't tax? Anyway, most companies like that will refund your money, though you'll probably see another charge before it's stopped. I don't know why Verizon allows these stupid charges to appear on their bills but it irritates me too. It's always worth calling to stop them though.
This sounds like some stupid phone call that was going around a couple of years ago. I got a call about my warranty expiring and my car at the time didn't even have a warranty. Idiots.
I dont know what the purpose of it is, but hopefully you can get it resolved.
It's not your credit card company's responsibility to prevent you from engaging in fraudulent transactions. The next time your computer prompts you to download something you don't recognize or seems fishy, do some research first.
If you tell them you never agreed to it, they'll give you your money back. Yeah it's a scam but at least they don't keep the money.
