Contact your credit card company & report that you never received goods from company. They will try to contact company & if the company doesn't reply then your credit card company will remove charges from your card. I believe you have to do it within 30--60 days of the charge, so act fast!

Pablo.
Contact your credit card company. State that you are disputing the charges on your bill & you will need to do it within 30-60 days. Your credit card company will do an investigation concerning the account. If you stopped service then they should stop charging & your credit card company could credit you the amount.

What has happened you have probably tried to check your credit report with a website such as freecreditreport.com that website enrolls you in a program and if you don't cancel within 30 days you will be charged a monthly charges.

The GOVERNMENT funded website for the free annual credit report is: http://www.annualcreditreport.com there is no charge to get it once a year. You only pay if you want to know your credit score but the report is free. You won't enter any credit card information in the site.

So you need to contact the company directly to request that they stop charging you. If they don't stop, contact your credit card directly to dispute the charges & inform them that you called to cancel the service but they keep charging you.

Contact your credit card company OR bank for dispute. Inform them that you have in good faith tried to cancel the service before the trial period but get busy signal, voice mail or no answer from their number. Inform them that you want to stop being charged and are disputing all charges due to the company not canceling your service at your request. Your credit card or bank should conduct an investigation and then may remove/block any charges from this company

Pablo.
Contact your credit card company for dispute stating that you were charged for product, tried to contact company about not receiving product without success. Your credit card company usually will remove the charge pending an investigation.

Generally if you make copies of the items you submit for rebates then you can ask for a fax# to send in a) copy of AT&T bill & b) copy of rebate form. It seems like they are not even sure if they got it! So you may need to send that information to them. I don't like rebates at all and I have had nightmares with some companies trying to get rebates. You could consider to contact the BBB to state you followed all the guidelines but never got rebate. Like I was saying if you have copies of the stuff you sent that is the best thing to do.

You need to go through the fraud process with AFNI to make the debt go away. It is probably already on your credit report. Phone bills could be very high if they are fraud. You will have to send them information to get it as fraud.

While I agree with people on here if it is a fraudulent account, PEOPLE WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! You have to PROOF it's fraud. If we could all say "such and such bill is fraud" then we wouldn't owe any bills! You have to PROOF that YOU weren't living at the service address during the dates of services.

AFNI is a collection agency. They are NOT require to provide an itemized statement & they can't PROVIDE IT if THEY ARE NOT GIVEN IT! Duh! So they send you a "validation of debt" letter stating you owe the money. Now, NO I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM. So DON'T GET ANY IDEAS :P.

I do agree with many of you, it is UP TO US TO CHANGE THE LAWS. I DO NOT AGREE that companies should be able to sell old accounts to collections agencies such as AFNI. But to call AFNI a scam? Come on! They are a collection agency! And they are there to collect a debt. If people want to be BABIES and NOT FILE CLAIMS STATING IT IS NOT THEIR ACCOUNT then DON'T. IT WILL GO ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT!

But getting back to you Tracey, you need to provide PROOF to AFNI. Get a copy of your lease agreement, if your landlord has any old copies of utility bills get copies of those. Make sure they are around the time frame of telephone service. Send all that to AFNI then it will show that you didn't establish telephone service at that place. Provide them proof of copies of your residency if you were living somewhere else at the time with copies of bills that show a different address.

This was what I did with HP before---mine did not come with recovery disks, since your computer is still under warranty you can call the corporate office (listed on their website) and state that your computer doesn't let you make the recovery disks and to have them send you the recovery disks for free. That is what I did because my computer WOULD NOT make the recovery disks, they gladly sent them to me for free. They even followed up with me to see I got them okay. I would suggest that & I believe the recovery disks would have VISTA on the.

Pablo
Is it a fraudulent account? Did you live at the address of service? Did you ever have the account/phone number with the original creditor? If you answered no, then you need to file an identity theft report through your police station. You can send it to AFNI and the credit bureaus.

Please refer to all the other complaints on here about the company. If you go to their website they clearly have TERMS AND CONDITIONS. While I do feel for you all, I am clueless why you wouldn't read it? For example, if the sample was "free" then WHY am I being enrolled in a subscription? That isn't "free" You have to be a smart consumer and READ ALL THE FINE PRINT! It PAYS to read & it clearly states that THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. So I highly doubt that anyone can sue because it clearly STATES in their TERMS AND CONDITIONS what you all are getting into.

You may try to dispute through BBB or FTC to try to get them to refund your money. Next time if you EVER go to a website like that look for their TERMS AND CONDITIONS and READ through ALL of it so you can be sure if you are subscribing to a program.

This leads me to some questions. 1) If you believe he is a bad doctor, why are you even seeing him? In fact if he ignored me like that on the first day I would have said "I am so sorry, I must leave immediately due to your poor service." If that didn't get to him, then I don't know what would.

2) Obviously, not wanting to talk to you directly means either a) he is very shy, b) he doesn't care about his patiences, and/or c) he's only there for the money.

Therefore: Go to another doctor of similar stature. He seems to not address your needs. Therefore, why pay for something that doesn't work? Why spend all your time knowing he doesn't care or he doesn't want to read/listen to what you have to say?

Pablo.
Notice it states get Free bottle plus $4.95*

That means there is something you have to read. There are terms and conditions at the bottom. You need to read them.

These terms and conditions are explained here:
https://securetea.securemediabox.com/terms.html

You have to be a savvy consumer. Nothing is free, you don't get a free lunch. That is why the company posts the terms and conditions. In them it shows how to unsubscribe & it states that there is a 30 day money back guarantee. You should call their customer service at: [protected] to return any unopened product.

Basically businesses are allowed to state that they cannot accept bigger bills. Generally there is a sign posted such as "We accept no bills larger than X". I imagine it is due to theft. Don't you think you could have went to a bank instead of getting mad at KFC?

Annualcreditreport.com is a USA government funded site. You get your credit report for free without any credit card information. In fact, you only pay if you want you credit score. I know because I have run my report with that website for a few years & was never charged.

The other website you posted goes to:
http://www.creditreport.com/index14m-dark6-SOff.asp?src=standard&cid=107&tid=19037263

Which is a website that enrolls you in a subscription service. You need to read the Conditions and Terms on the website which are included at the bottom of the website.
Have you tried to contact BBB to get some type of resolution regarding the matter? I think they would be a good mediator.

Pablo.
Teri:

I just tried the website & it works to me. It forwards you to this website:

Try that and see if it works!

Try the above website and see if it works for you. It should be up and working.

A) Have you considered contacting the BBB to help mediate this situation?
B) How about PC World Magazine "On Your Side"? They are a good mediator.

Your situation seems very unfortunate and I am wondering if you could try a mediator to get your money. It seems what has happened that either their billing department has denied the money sent to your bank or there is some type of computer error that didn't get the money to your bank account. It seems at least they should issue you a paper check if they are having all those computer errors.

You should read the terms and conditions on their website it has instructions on how to cancel. If they didn't cancel the charges you should dispute the charges each month with your credit card.

Pablo.
Dear Heather:

If the service is poor I would recommend contacting the Manager/Owner of the store and/or their corporate head office. Nothing will be done if they don't know about their "sloppy" work. And, as you have stated, I would recommend not going back to the restaurant. Why go somewhere and pay money if you are not happy with the product/service?

Pablo.
Dear Jenna:

You will have to contact your credit card company or bank to receive a refund. You will have to state that they took the money, stated to you that product is not available and won't refund you the money. You will have to dispute the item. You should do that ASAP & you should call their support line again to see if you will be able to get the refund.

Dear Sonia:

Look through all these threads I believe some user did post their address, but I read their Terms and Conditions and they said "no returns accepted." I suppose you could still use it as proof to get that credit from your VISA card, though.
