That is the correct AFNI number because I just called there. If you didn't have the original number listed nor if you had a Nextel phone then you should contact them to see what address is on file for that service. If it isn't yours you will have to file an identity theft report with the company.
Pablo.
That is a scam because you shouldn't pay for a prize especially if you never entered the contest! I believe the money is gone now because you already sent it to the person. It will be hard to trace the person because all you have is an email address. You can file a complaint with the London Police Office.
Pablo.
I'm not sure why the company won't honor your warranty especially since YOU paid the money & I believe you have every right to sue. That sounds terrible that they can't see that you paid X dollars and the model that you chose was around the same price you paid!

How about doing a presidential appeal on your account? If you go to verizon.com and click "contact us" you will click on "corporate office" and there is a number and address to their Corporate office in NY. You can ask for the presidential appeals department. Explain your problem sincerely and state that you spent many hours without results, & somehow verizon disabled your internet for unknown reason.

How about disputing the charges with your credit card company for services not rendered?

How you tried to write to the company? Are the packages insured by UPS? If so, have you contacted UPS about the missing medicine? Your doctor shouldn't be angry with you, it's not your fault that the medicine wasn't sent correctly, perhaps you should deal with another company instead of getting it through the mail so you can insure that you are getting the correct amount of pills.
Pablo
You need to go to their website or refer back to the mail flyer that you send in. I believe when you began the offer you are automatically enrolled in their coffee club which they send you coffee every so often. So you should look on their website for the Terms and Conditions which will explain a) how often the product will ship, b) how to cancel the service, c) if returns are accepted, and d) contact information for the company.
Pablo
I do understand what you are saying about being able to get your money back. However may stores (I believe Walmart, Target and Sears among others) if you have a gift receipt and/or no receipt they can only exchange for the same item or give you a gift card for the item. Next time you may have your daughter take back w/ original receipt. Then she may be able to get the money back & give it to you.
However, you do raise a point. It was your daughter's money & if you don't like the store it's kind of pointless to give you a gift card :(

Have you tried to contact BBB to get your rebate or how about the FTC?

I did some leg work & located their corporate office number which is [protected], try to call them. Explain the issue in a calm manner (don't be ### or angry) & explain why you think it's unfair & see if they will be able to assist you.
Generally that would be the final step with the company to get the charges reversed.

A) Did you pay all the money? If not, I would not recommending paying it especially if services were not done that were promised.
B) Did you contact the Medical Association that Dr Byrd has her license through? I believe you can file a complaint with them.
C) Did you try to get references BEFORE she did anything? I would DEFINITELY get at least 10 references from people she treated especially since it has to do with plastic surgery & call them, too.
D) Do you have her promise in writing? If not, is she going to put it in writing? What were the terms of the agreement of the surgery?
E) Did Dr. Byrd violate the terms of the agreement? If so, have you considered legal action?

You don't have to answer these questions on here, but these are questions to get you thinking about your situation.
A) How old is your son? I believe if they are under 16 they can only work under 20 hours a week, therefore the company may not have many hours to give him with such a limited schedule.
B) Autism can be a big barrier which it seems like he has overcome with his social worker/case worker from the vocational training. Does many people (employees, customers) agree that your son does his job correctly and good?
C) Continuing from the last statement, is it possible to get written statements from these people?
D) I believe (I'm not a lawyer though) that we aren't supposed to be discriminated based upon religion, color, sex, or disability in the USA. If your statements from the average joe (customer & employee) notes that your son is doing his job correctly & that they have heard/seen examples where bosses stated that they aren't putting him on the schedule because he is "###ed"/"slow", etc you should immediately contact the store owner and explain your concern. Please, try to be kind but firm, don't be whinny and/or harassing. Explain the facts: a) that you have statements from co-workers and employees that your son does his job just like anyone & has not been given any hours for the last X weeks. B) That you believe the store manager/assistant manager are discriminating because he is with a disability and you are concerned. C) You have witness statements that heard these bosses state that they weren't given him any hours because he was "slow".
If these steps don't change anything, then you may want to contact a lawyer because we have civil liberties in the USA & any employer should know that.
Have a wonderful day.

First, I would suggest to run your credit report:
Go to http://www.annualcreditreport.com (That's the USA government funded website to get your credit report for free ----yes you don't enter any credit card information in there--- once per year. You are only charged IF you want your credit score. )
Review if there are any accounts on there that are not yours or that you aren't familiar with. Also, you may contact the credit bureau to place a 90 day fraud alert. Provide them with a contact number so they can contact you if someone tries to open up and/or check your credit file.
I thought loan companies only ask for money up front if you have bad credit (ie they checked your credit report & told you what held you back from the loan and you need to place x money down).
Now, if they are unable to provide you with a contract then that is why you know it's a scam.

That sounds very interesting especially if you were told 12-24-2007. I did find on there website the following contact information, perhaps you would like to try to contact them that way?

So you couldn't put a prepaid card? Many stores have them & I don't see why you couldn't do that, but you do have a point. It seems from their phrasing on the package that you don't need a credit card. Perhaps you should wait for their reply, but I think a prepaid card would be the easiest way to go.
Pablo
Contact your credit card ASAP to dispute the charges. You shouldn't have to pay for something you didn't receive.

The website works for me:

Por supuesto es escándalo no debes pagar nada en un concurso...
Of course it's a scam and you shouldn't have to pay anything in a contest.
Provide them with a proof of residency where you didn't live at the address at the time. You could get a copy of a utility bill or something like that to show them.

The website works for me! It re-directs to the survey site, what type of internet are you all using?! I'm still on dial-up & can get to the website. IT WORKS!
