I ordered from ABC, yep, unreal!@@@@ shipping costs, they sent one item in a HUGE BOX@! I order 12 things... Obviously they and the shipping department are in on this together. How can America ever get ahead, with rip off company's like this!
All of us need to boycott this company. Maybe if we stand up against people that rip american's off, we'll begin to win against this sort of thing. But as long as people are too lazy to go shopping, and can't see through the bait and switch style of selling. They'll never stop.
I call the geek squad. My small business computer is freezing up when we use recall and credit cards. No problem For $299.99, they will fix this. They come out and say, the problem is, " it needs more memory." They install memory and leave. The next day, I have the same problems. I call back and for a mere 6-8 hundred more they will come out to look at problem. I have spent 5 times at 25-45 minutes each on the phone with these so called agents. Today I even talked to special agent manager Edmund, and he said this is the way it works... They start with the simple things and work their way to the problem, at a fee each time. It's the same as working on a car. You slowly work the bugs out. This is not what I asked for in the beginning. If I was looking for someone to slowly work the bugs out, I would have called my mechanic! FRAUD!
PayPal&GE Money First they took our money unlawfully- right out of an account. They Never allowed us to make full payments without ever getting hung up on first. During difficult and high tech telephone transferring systems to the more and even more appropriate associates and after loosing every connection, I learned to be at peace with my inner self esteem. They Made E-Bay and the Net seem more like a scam party than achievements of intelligent shopping and fun- the human mankind is so doomed, Huh! GE Money! Go go! But I met Yohammed and fell in love through GE M. Now we're moving to a 3rd world country to get away from this awful free America. Doomed white trash.
I was parked at a McDonalds parking lot when I stepped out for two minutes across the street. I came back and as I was placing the order in McDonalds, the towing company guy told the manager that 4 cars were towed. I had to call the police and ended up paying 200+ for my car. The police told me to file a complaint against McDonalds and the towing company, this was so unfair. However, something is for sure, that McDonalds is going to loose more money from my packet than the 200+ I spend getting my car back, because I will never go there again!
Sorry to say that I read all of the negative reviews after pen was put to paper. One reviewer told of horror stories concerning the "no interest" financing, this has my colon in a knot because I took the deal too, another reviewer complained of poor quality furniture from china. Sure enough this evening I had the misfortune of seeing that for myself when my overpriced firewood arrived (4 hours late). When I pointed out some defects in the finish to the delivery person, he stated that was a "rustic" look and was not a defect. To put the icing on the cake, the wrong tabletop color was sent. The box indicated the correct color however after opening, it was discovered that some functional illiterate repacked the wrong table in the box. I actually feel sorry for the delivery people because other than the sales person (Who knows how to hide and duck your calls), they are the only live people that you see and can shed your anger on.
The bottom line is: never again.
I took my computer to Geeksquad at Bestbuy thinking that they could fix the virus that I got into the machine and "frozen" all my files. Well, the "smart geeks" said they could fix with no problem and would install a anti-virus better than Norton. I believed because I thought they were professional. How silly I was!
They charged me 380.00 for installing the anti-virus and one CD with some of my files. nevertheless to say when I got home the computer never worked. I took back 4 times, and they told me they couldn't do anything, especially returning my money back. I fell robbed!
After so much aggravation I went to Walmart and got a new computer, because I complained so much, today, I am sure they are very happy for losing a customer! No more Geeksquad... You guys should go to a computer school first!
I have an hp DV9429US that originally was supposed to run Windows Vista. As a software developer I support many applications written in C# using the .NET framework 1.1, which vista doesn't support. I made a clean install with Windows XP and loaded all the factory drivers for my hardware.
Several months later my laptop started to freeze up. After numerous tests I concluded it was a hardware defect, which only HP could fix. I brought it to the Firedog Team since I purchased the laptop at Circuit City and it was still in warranty.
After conducting tests on my laptop for a week, the local Firedog techs decided to send it to their main repair depot in Texas. It took the depot about a whole week to assign a technician to do the repair. Upon testing the technician concluded that there is no problem with my hardware and decided to take matter in his own hands. He reinstalled the factory OS Image of Vista, wiping out all my work and rendering the machine useless for development (more like support at this point) of applications written with the .NET 1.1 framework. The tech also cleaned my fans (sprayed them with compressed air) and reseated the memory modules, which is kind of useless.
After booting the laptop, I realized that the only thing the tech did was to reload the factory os. Moreover, he was so lazy that he didn't even patch the os, install the latest drivers, or the critical windows updates (some 300MB or so worth of updates).
Although the tech ran the computer for two days and watched two dvd's in order to check for the freezing problem (according to the work manifest), he never did a single stress tests. The laptop froze immediately after running about seven applications at once.
Currently I still have a broken laptop and I lost all my work (as well as 3 weeks of down time while being out of commission). I have to still deal with the Firedog team in order to get it fixed, but noone will compensate me for my troubles.
I have had a Citi Master Card since last year. I used it only once in January, 2008. In June, there was an unauthorized charge of 69.99 posted on my account. I called Citi to find out what I had to do about that unauthorized charge. They said I had to call next day to talk to the billing department. Next day I called, a customer service rep told me she could take care of it for me without involving a billing dept. She said it was all taken care of.
In August I logged into my account online and saw the same charge posted on there. I called again, and was told that they would mail me dispute papers to sign. They did, I signed them and mailed them back in. In couple of weeks after that I saw a credit posted to my account for that charge. So it indeed looked like it was all taken care off. I logged in today again and see the same charge on there again! I called them (it was the 5th time!), first I was told I had no balance and there was nothing for me to worry about. After 15 minutes of me trying to persuade the CSR that I do see a balance on there, she admit it was there and placed me on hold, and then again, and again. Finally a billing specialist got on the phone. She started telling me that they never received dispute documents from me. I told her that I did mail them and that after that I did receive a credit. She said she was going to mail me another set of papers to sign and that I would get them in about a week. After I told her that I was unaware of this "no docs" problem and that every time I called I was told everything was fine she said she was sorry and hung up!
Around September 15, 2008, I ordered Acai Pure Trial. The trial product free, but I had to pay the shipping and handling of $4.95, which I authorized. However, I received the product yesterday and found that they had included Hoodiburst Gum, $9.95, and Hoodiawater, $29.95. My total bill was $44.85, not the authorized $4.95.
I was going to send them an e-mail and call them, however, when I input the URL information for Customer Service, I noted that there were numerous complaints from consumers with my same complaint. It was also noted that there was never an answer on the [protected]. I do not want to be stuck with the products or the bill.
I applied for a new loan on Sept 19th. On Sept 24th they charged my bank account the $19.00 prepayment fee. I was supposed to have the $200 loan in my bank the next day. As of today, Oct 5th, I still have not received the loan.
This company is horrible I am renting a house that texstar properties are managing and when i got to look at the house i liked the house but the house was left very dirty and unclean the owners had to rush out because he got orders to move to another state so i know they did not have time to clean like they really wanted to, so they left it up to texstar properties to make sure the house was ready to be moved into but they did not do one thing in the house i have everything on video which is about an hour long.
The house had 376 holes from pictures the owners had, some of the holes are very large i can stick my finger through them... me and my wife and my little girls were on our hands and knees scrubbing the base and the walls... the ceilings where all the air vents were was black from the dust of the ac unit the kitchen was filthy... huge holes in the walls and food spilled in the cabinets, this is not at the owners because i know they didn't have time to clean they did a rush move and had to leave very quickly because i met them while they were moving i don't think they have any idea about none of this.
There was food on some of the doors through out the house and the furnace filter was filthy now i asked them to show me receipts of everything but they couldn't and if they have them they are fake because i have video of the entire house because they told us they hired a cleaning lady and if you seen the house before we cleaned it you can tell that is a lie and a cover up i will post the video if i could on this sight.
Texstar is very unreliable they will have your payment in there building and they will not record it until the next day and make you pay late charges. because that money goes right in there pocket so they want you to be late that is why if your payment is not there on the first then the very next day you will have a late fee so be careful putting your money in the night drop on the first of the month because they will not record some of them and make you pay a late charge the next day, this company treat there tenants like crap and don't even care Please read what the BBB have to say about them it is not pretty from reading other peoples complaints i probably wont get my dep back and the house will be in better shape than when they gave it to me they have to be stopped they have horrible ratings in this community please be careful.
My husband has taken a hit like everyone else in the mortgage business, & was recently forced to close his own small company. Yes we had gotten behind on our Tahoe, which has been moved to Drive Financial, but had just agreed on some arrangements, AND just made a payment! They came that very day & took our Tahoe. Apparently, after speaking with someone there, it was a mistake & they wouldn't charge us the redemption fee. Gee, thanks! Meanwhile, we went all weekend without my car, & then we had to go Monday (quite a long way) to go pick up. It wasn't returned to us. I really meant to do something legally to them, or see what I could do, but things have been crazy, so I'm just trying to work 24/7 to keep a float. So, let this be a warning. If in Texas, keep your car in your garage! I know in TX I've read that they can't get it out of your garage, it must be a 'peacefun repo'... if there is such a thing! Even if you're up to date on payments, Drive Financial is known to make mistakes such as the above mentioned, & then just say, 'Oops... sorry!'. They need to be out of business.
On April 4th I signed up with Web Wealth Strategies to receive a website to promote different companies (www.3AOO.com). When I called them to be assigned a coach, I was told to call Incredible Advertising. I spoke to a Michael King who told me in order to make big money, I had to purchase one of the 3 campaigns. I purchased the top of the line campaign which was the 20K-30K per month income. I signed a contract to receive 100, 000 clicks within 2 yrs and an additional contract that if the advertising is not fulfilled I would receive a refund.
At the end of 90 days if my goals are not met, the campaign would be doubled out of the company budget. This would be an average of 4, 100 hits per month and that the mortgage section of the site would be the most profitable. It was over 2 months and my hits where only about 1/2 that. This past few months my hits where only about 10-30 hits per day. (100, 000 clicks divided by 24 months is = 4, 166 hits per month, about 138 per day). I was told by Mr. King that with this campaign I could start making money right away. So for I haven't made a dime.
I asked for proof of what my advertising looked like and all they could come up with was a simple banner ad saying 3 Awesome Opportunities On Line. I asked for proof of anyone else making this kind of money and the testimonials they sent me are fake. Every time I call to ask them why my hits are so low and no bites they tell me there working on it and they never return phone calls I always have to call them. The conversations went from making money right away to give it a couple/few months to build momentum.
The day I told them I was flying out there to demand my money back, my hits, per day went from 10-30 to in the 563 ri 849 range, back down to 46-60 for a couple days then up to 300 and now up to almost 3000 in 1/2 day and no affiliate clicks or mortgage apps. I strongly believe I'm getting false clicks. There is software out there that will do that for you, click on IP addresses over and over again. There doing this so that they would not have to refund my money back based on the amount of clicks and the contract.
This site is a complete scam! No products are ever shipped. E-mails are never answered. Many months have passed and I have tried everything to contact the responsible people. No luck! I just scanned the internet and found many more people have had the same problem. Stay away from this site!
I have purchased ALL replacement tires for my current vehicle from Tire Kingdom, and had included 'free lifetime tire rotation and balance'. On my first visit to use the free balance and rotation service, the store personnel tried to convince me my car was 'unsafe' so that I would purchase unneeded items.
I was told 'Michelin tires are crap', and was recommended to buy 4 new tires from a different vendor that the company was obviously promoting heavily. Well, if the tires are 'crap', then why did you sell the previous 5 in the first place? Don't go to this store unless you want to be sold unnecessary product and service on every visit. Get a second opinion and take your business elsewhere.
United Cash Loans deposited money into my account without my permission and then started withdrawing out 4 to 5x's as much back out with no end in sight. This isn't the only loan company that did it. Apparently 1st Credit Now gave my information to several rip-off companies and they bled me dry. Thankfully my bank saw the fraud and is getting most of the money back but the damage is done. Lots of my bills were not paid or were late. My credit is very messed up. I went into my first ever case of deep depression and had the worst summer of my life. They need to be stopped and clean up the messes of peoples lives they have destroyed. Unbelievable. How do they live with themselves?!
Juniper sold to B of A, couldn't pay either on-line as neither site would accept payment. Spoke with BofA "you don't owe anything this month." Today received call from a cred coll agency. They say I am in arrears. They want last month's payment which I sent to other creditors. NEVER BELIEVE THIS HOCKUM! I proceeded on my merry way and now have BofA claiming I missed a payment. I think this might be a scam. I'll send them the money due but I HATE the way they treated me..and so HATE THE ###...
I have had no landline phone service for a month now, my husband works as a salesman out of the home and has lost several business accounts due to this issue. My husband has called several times to find out why we do not have service and how much longer it will be before he can resume back to his normal work schedule. No one from Verizon has bothered to let us know when this issue will be resolved. We are now in the process of looking for a better phone service that will provide quality service and I hope to other customers that are going through the same problem will do so as well.
I order a free trial of wu-yi source tea to loose weight, it was not free after 14 days they charge you $59.99 and each month there after, without you knowing that. they said that for asking t=your free trial sample for 14 days automatically you are signing for as long as you stop it if after 14 days they do not give your money back. then you have to pay the shipping and handle to send it back. They do not tell you this in your 14 day trial. I read this site after I ordered.
I work for a small office as office manager. When answering the phone today, a recorded generic message (directed at no specific person) said to call Allied Interstate, a debt collector, at [protected] re: a debt. When I called them back, I was on hold listening to various recordings for about 12 minutes, then I got a message asking me to leave a message or continue to hold. When I selected the option for leaving a message, the voice mail was full and could not accept the message. Every avenue I tried was a dead end. I could not talk to a real person.
This office is not behind on any bills. This has taken up 30+ minutes of my valuable time this afternoon. My boss sometimes answers the phone and this type of call would be upsetting and alarming to him and would have him questioning my abilities at doing my job.
No representative of Allied Interstate has ever called our office. Their first and only contact (so far) was a recorded message demanding that we call them (never mentioning "we" by name so we don't even know that they have the right number). And then they are unreachable by phone making it impossible to clear this up.
This is an interruption in our business and somebody should put a stop to these ridiculous people, so they can't continue with this harassing behavior.
LA Fitness has two ongoing scams which everyone should know about. The first one is when signing up for the contract, please make sure that they put on the contract for all LA Fitness locations. The rep gave me a copy unsigned showing all locations, but had me sign one that stated single membership. I missed it because I read the one that stated all LA Fitness locations.
The second scam is when canceling. First of all you can only cancel by mailing a letter in. If you do not send the cancellation certified mail, LA Fitness WILL NOT cancel your membership and will continuously charge you until you do send one certified. They will state that they never received the letter (even though I sent two letters) and will not credit back the extra months that they charged you even though you paid first and last month when you started the contract.
When it comes to billing, charge issues, and cancellation, this is the worst place ever.
I got my loan in 2017 for 10, 000 i called today to get my loan amount still owed its 8675.60 i have paid 10, 475 into this loan. I lost my job in 2017 and had to get the loan restructured so they lowered my interest rate and took away 1 year of payments to my account. The loan wont be paid for until 2017. Isn't there something that consumers can do about cashcall in how they apply payments to their accounts. If i loose my job again then i am stuck with destroying my credit. Is there a law suit with this company.
I purchased a receiver online at CircuitCity.com. I received the item promptly, but although it was the correct model number it did not have what the ad listed said it did. I called customer service and they said to return it to the store. I did and spent an extra $150 in store on a different item, however they would not refund my shipping. I call the customer service back and they say they will not do anything in any form, refund, gift card or other. I have no problems with this if it were my fault, but it is their site that is showing false information. Such a simple thing and Circuit City has lost the rest of my business.
This company called my job and left a voicemail, which was very rude. They wanted me to pay them in full NOW! I explained to him that I couldn't meet his demands & was told that I have 3 hours to pay in full or he was going to turn me in to the authorities. I told the guy that I was @ work and couldn't leave and he told me that he doesn't normally make payment arrangements. And that I had to 6 pm to call him back with a receipt number or else. I'm not going to settle for this. I am going to file a complaint against this company myself.
There's no quality control. Not only did the installer put in a permanent face plate totally crooked on the inside wall, but the outside wall coverings (where he drilled holes) are not flush and are messily caulked with piles of caulk (which is likely to disintegrate soon).
He left piles of sawdust and debris on the floor and didn't even consider cleaning up after himself. He left furniture moved away from the walls and didn't even consider moving it back.
He gave absolutely no instruction on how to use the equipment. After much frustration, we had to call their customer service and found out one of the remotes is defective and needs to be replaced.
