I did a wire transfer using bank of america in baltimore MD johns hopkins branch to my own account in India using SWIFT codes. I was told that india is a slow to pay country and it takes about 3 weeks and no investigations would be don't till then. It has been 2 and a half months and it hasn't gone through. My bank in india has not received any information regarding this from bank of america and the bank of america is not willing to help. Every time i contact them they tell me that they are sending e-mail to the bank in india to find the status and that the money is in india and nothing can be done about it and it is possible that i lose my money. I have no clue as to how to go about it.

Bank of America, please get more training for the individuals at the branches in east TN as it is desperately needed. When the house is packed to the point that folks are lined up out in the parking lot it is NOT appropriate for the "merchant tellers" to be sitting there at empty windows staring into space. They should be taking the next customer in line! I dont know why merchants are so important that someone needs to just sitting there waiting for them, while the rest of us are packed into that hot building like cattle. All our money spends the same!

Furthermore, I was unable to voice my complaints to a manager at that particular time. I became enraged by the situation and unfortunately had to excuse myself. You see, this was the second time in two weeks I have been packed in this place like
sardines while the merchant tellers sat at their windows looking out
at the crowd. I did not wish to escalate the situation to violence so
I left.

I feel as if they are doing this on purpose or that someone messed up big. i want my money back. i can't pay my bills because I had to pay it all over again. this is not right.

Applying for an account with Bank of America will probably get you an account, but not the one you applied for.

I applied for a line of credit with the advertised rate of 8.99% interest rate, my credit score is in the high 700's.

I was denied credit.

I received a 10, 000 credit line with a 21.99% interest rate 4 weeks later that I didn't apply for.

When I phoned they closed the account but refused to remove the tradeline from my credit report.

Thus it shows me opening and closing an account. For those of you who aren't familiar with reading credit profiles, this looks unfavorably when applying for credit.

Apparently 8.99% is false advertising, or only one available at this cost (like a car dealership).

Also, opening an account without your permission/authorization may be considered fraud.

If you experience this or another issue with Bank of America which you believe is unfair business practices file a complaint with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Customer Assistance Group, 1301 McKinney Street, Suite 3450, Houston TX [protected] fax: [protected]. http://www.occ.treas.gov/customer.htm will take you to the online complaint form.

Bank of America credit card services lied about a repayment plan that was to have me pay a larger sum of money than I could really afford in order to have interest and late fees taken off my account if I reached a goal. Instead, when I reached the goal, none of the interest or late fees was removed. I made the increased payments for three more months with the credit card services people telling me to wait another month whenever I called.

I felt like I was being strung along and probably was while those who lied to me were getting reinforced to do so by bonuses and rewards for getting their stooge to pay more per month than should have been necessary.

Bank of America provides zero customer service or help of any kind to long term customers with accounts in good standing. While attempting to deposit my payroll check at a BofA ATM machine, the machine took my card and wouldn't give it back. I couldn't make my deposit either. I called the BofA toll free number. All I got was excuses and patronizing lip service. They refused, despite my specific request, to send a bank employee to my location to retrieve my debit card from the machine. That was "against their policy". A manager I asked for then told me the same thing and refused to help in any way.

People beware! If you use Bank of America, you are on your own if you encounter any problems like this. They will NOT help you in any way. They will do nothing whatsoever for you.

Customer Service through Bank of American should be renamed Customer Disservice. The Bank offers absolutely no flexibility with people who live pay check to paycheck. I was never in the habit of racking up overdraft bank fees until I started regularly using Bank of America. Most banks will allow you to transfer or deposit funds to cover any overage and not assess a fee if the transfer is made same day. Not the case with Bank of America. If your account dips under even for one second and you don't catch it BAM! $35.00 late fee. I think the combined total of dips under that I made was about $28.00 over the 6 months I've banked with them. Money was all put back into the account as soon as I was allowed to transfer it (an issue I'll address in a moment). That $28.00 has resulted in over $490.00 in fees. I feel like I have been raped by that bank! For people that live paycheck to paycheck this is NOT the bank for you! I was drawn in by the supposed ease of online banking but there are no atms or physical bank branches in my area. I cannot even deposit money through another bank's atm (bank of america doesn't allow it). In order to transfer funds from another account online there is a TWO day window. Which means even if I WERE to catch an overdraft before it happens there is no way I could actually get the funds into the account without driving over 100 miles to the closest branch. Some banks offer real customer service. Use one of those. DON'T use Bank of America.

Bank of america
"over draft fees"

My name is trying the best I can to make ends meet!

I try to keep track of my checking account by utilizing the mobile bank with bofa though there is always things pending that aren't real time when you check the account. I believe that i'm not the only one who uses plastic to pay for most everything and I keep a running tally in mind and when in question whether or not there is money in the account I go to the mobile banking site to verify what is available.
Over the past year or two since i've had this account the have raped me for about $3, ooo - $4, 000 at least in "over draft fees" some times this $35. Oo fee is implemented because of a $2.00 oversight, there has been weeks where my check which is direct deposited is completely confiscated by this institution. Some of the time this has happened with a over draw on my part less than 24 hrs. Prior to my check going into there bank through the direct deposit, this isn't right. They know that my check is going in at the same time every week same amount every week, so it seems wrong for them to charge $35. Oo dollars for a $2.00 over draft (Loan) that will be covered with in 12 hours. There should be some sort of limits to what they can high jack, I am on tight rope as far as my budget there isn't any room for errors especially when I make efforts to stay with in my means.
I'm wondering if this is just me that sees something wrong with this or if anyone else feels that they are being taken advantage of. I know that i'm not with out blame if I kept an accurate check register, then maybe I wouldn't have some of these issues, an this is something that i'm working on. Please comment.

I was offered a bonus of $50.00 if I open as second account, for 3 month and maintain a certain balance. 3 month later is was told I would not receive my bonus because I did not select auto-deposit. Bank of America has stated this was not something I needed to do. They would get my $50.00. I have gone to the bank. I have been told they are going to get my money. Months later, I was told 2 other people have complained. Lots of phone calls. Lots of trips to the bank. Now almost 4 months later... They are still putting me off. DO NOT BANK HERE...

Consumers BEWARE of Bank of America. They have managed to find a way of duping probably millions of "Americans" through their shady tactics. Their system is set up purposely to confuse and mislead the individual(s) trying to manage their accounts and therefore making it extremely easy to incur late charges and subsequent finance charges as well. After giving them multiple chances to redeem themselves, I have finally decided to cancel my accounts, and will NEVER AGAIN do business with them. BE CAREFUL in that they have a common practice in "saying" that you did not have enough funds in your account to cover payments that you are making (ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE IT - and KNOW YOU DO) in the name of AGAIN...hitting you with finance charges and late payments. They in fact WONT tell you your payment wasn't processed, returned, etc... they will just allow your account to rack up late fees, until you go to make another payment, or your credit card is declined, and you RUDELY find this out ON YOUR OWN. It would be interesting to know how much money they make from these shady practices alone. I can bet A LOT.

I have been with bank of america for about 8 years and have more problems then anything else, especially recently, I put a stop payment check on check # 1 for 29 dollars well now a year later i get a call from a lawyer saying i ow them 160 dollars for a stop payment on check # 2 I never put a stop payment on that check turns out BOA put stop payment on check #2 for the amount of check # 1 and since they wont admit they were at fault i owe 160 bucks for a 10 dollar check, and that not all, i get a statement saying i owe them money on an account i closed 6 months ago, well turns out they never marked it as closed even tho they told me it was closed, and then i see i owe and overdraft fee but i never went over so they did end up paying me back for that but I am done with them they obviously dont know how to add and typ Numbers into a computer so I am done before i lose all my money to them dumb ###. I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend bank of america to ANYone that like to keep there hard earned money.

B of A ( Bank of America ) utilizes data gathering techniques beyond information provided on checking, savings and cd accounts to develop security clearance questions. For a bank to use covert data gathering information which goes beyond information provided in the course of doing business is appalling and truly an invasion of privacy. Simple questions regarding mother's maiden name, etc are expected. But, to ask questions regarding additional family members who have had nothing to do with the account, including their current addresses, ages, martial status, etc are extremely subversive and indicative of a lack of respect for their customers. I will never do business with this company again and find their actions to be unconscionable and a true invasive action. This type of information is not critical but to use data gathering to the level shows intent to profile clients and use this information in a variety of methods not normally seen in day to day business interaction. I have no credit cards, credit lines or loans with this company and now I will have nothing to do with them going forward. Their explanations were marginal at best and they state the information was gathered through public sources. I left Wells Fargo fifteen years ago and now I am adding Bank of America to my Black List of vendors to never do business with.

Bank of America has worked out many techniques to pry the $ from their customers.

10 overdraft fees in one day amounting to $350 is possible.

They pay from highest amount to lowest to maximize the overdraft fees they charge while explaining to their customers that this practice is in their best interest.

The latest techique BA uses involves ATM deposits. Any deposit via the ATM that is less than $100 they will make available right away. They also make another $100 available as "pending". This allows their customers to think (mistakingly) that they have more money then they thought. The Customer then uses the debit card for another purchase. The next day the customer discovers as many as 10 overdraft fees the next day.

Bank of America has brain-storming sessions at the management level to develop new techniques to pry the $ from they customers while making the customer feel that they deserve it.

I know all this because my wife works for BA and has for the past 30 years.

Bank of America is the last bank to do business with.

I recently found out that Bank of America has listed me with Experian as a bad payer. I had no idea I was a bad payer as I have been paying my mortgage religiously and have actually paid my mortgage in advance by more than one months payment. When we called the bank they confirmed we are paid in advance and then proceeded to inform us that they will not remove our name from Experien, and that it is our problem. I am really angry about this situation, as I am new to the country and have had mortgages in the country where we lived, for 20 years, and never had this type of problem.

I have evidence of payments made to Bank of America should that be required. Did not want to attach as I am not sure how secure this is.

I have subsequently tried to find information to be able to lodge my complaint with Experian, and when I google them I am redirected all sorts of other sites.

Please could someone point in the right direction.

Thank you

After moving to Virginia from Ohio, we opened a checking/"keep the change" savings account with Bank of America. Nothing but problems from the get go...! My first payroll check was held for 1 week (all but $100)...no one told me that would happen when I opened acct. Apparently since it was drawn on another bank..that is why. Ridiculous! I was told this would only happen once...hah..it happened again, and again. My fiance' received his bank card 1 day prior to going out of state for training for his new job. Used the card once, then when trying to use his card to pay for his meal, declined! He called customer service and they told him it had been blocked, due to suspicion of fraud. No one bother to call him or I. They would not fix the problem...he used the $50 he had on him to pay for his meal and was left with no money for 3 days. This was a temp card til he received his actual card...in a week. I find that when you make deposits, (other than cash), they hold those deposits til 9 am the next day...the funds are added into your available balance...as a pending transaction. Which in turn you can still use your debit card...but they will let those transactions go throught 1st, therefore possibly causing an OD on your acct, before deposit is acutally posted. So, if you didn't have enough in acct. prior to that deposit...you will get charged OD fees and more fees on top of that. Kind of tricky if you ask me...and trust me...we have had many OD fees credited back due to trying to hold my paychecks for 1 week, when they shouldn't. They also try to keep me from cashing my paycheck as well...the excuse is "It won't let us cash it" or "you will have to deposit it then do a less cash received"...this way it does not credit right away...but yet you can still use your debit card on that pending deposit and rack up fees. The bank also charged us a $10 fee for them transferring money from my savings to checking in order to cover a transaction coming through. Seriously?! They charge you for them to do their job...amazing! Customer service at the branch I utilize and opened my account at, is the most unorganized and if you go in and ask the same question to 4 different people, the answer will be different each time. We have dealt with the VP since all of this has happened...she has seen our frustration and has helped us out...but unfortunately when she fixes one problem...one or two more come up. We have given them many chances and we have decided to move on. We were warned before we opened an account with them and we should have listened...so for any of you want to bank with them...please think seriously before you act. Oh and just to let you know Bank of America managed to NOT pay their taxes last year...hmmmm? Mind you we have only had this account for a little over 30 days...and too many problems in that short of time if you ask me. If you decide to bank with...make sure they inform you of EVERYTHING as far as their policies on new accounts...because there was a lot of information that we didn't get...and a lot more policies that came up as we went...who knows which ones are right though. Different CSRs give you different answers.

On Nov. 2, 2017 our home caught fire. our insurance company was very fast in getting our check for the damages done to our house. since we still pay a mortgage we had to send to check to bank of america so they could endorse the check as well. we called for a week straight to find out what needed to be done. we talked to a different person everytime and got a different story everytime. their employees from there floor supervisors to the little people are rude and inconsiderate. they are ###s. Bank of america is refusing to release our check that in all legal rights belong to me and my husband. they want us to pay out of pocket for the repairs. i think they owners need to get off their butts and either train their people better or hire some body different. all you get when you deal with bank of america is the run around and a different story everytime.

I got a withdrawal fee on my savings account last month. When I called BOFA, they told me that the Federal Government had a limit on how many withdrawals you could make a month. They told me it was three including ATM withdrawals. I went to the banking regulation site and in actuality, the number of withdrawals or transfers you can make per statement period is SIX and ATM withdrawals are exempt! I called BOFA back and the customer service rep again tried to blame it on Federal Regulations. He then read it to me and I pointed out the errors. He finally admitted that the policy was Bank of America 's. I felt that I was lied to and I resented the fact that after 20 years of banking with BOFA that they would start nickel and diming me over what they considered "excessive withdrawals" - more than three a statement period. I took my money out of my savings and am currently looking for a bank that adheres to the Federal Regulations of six withdrawals with AMT withdrawals exempt. Shame on you, Bank of America!

This is a real story. I went to work this morning and I was checking my email. I saw an alert form BoA stating that my balance is zero on my checking account. I logged in to online banking and almost had an heart attack. My checking was $0 and my savings was all gone. I immediately thought, somebody compromised my account. There was a check taken out of my account. Check was amounted to $51, 815.28 and taken from my checking and rest from my savings, since I have draft protection backed by my savings account, everything was swept. Check was not mine, signature was not mine, name on the check was not mine. It turned out that this was a legitimate check sent out to a real person. Teller said the digital reader (optical reader) has failed to read the "8"s in the check so it matched my account number, and funds are drawn. After spending 5-6 hours on the phone and speaking to countless people, they said they are very sorry and they will fix it in 24 to 48 hours. And by the way they said they are going to send me an apology letter with a $50 gift card from amazon.com

This is just insane, I have no words to describe how bad this bank is. Stay away!

Hi,

Today is 11/25/2017 and it is 8:28 PM.
A lady called twice. I pick up the second time. It was a woamn from Bank of America telling me that I will be receving a credit report from them and BOA will be monitoring my credit report and protecting my privacy and account info if anything happen to my credit rating. I will look into my frre credit report she will send and inform them of wrong info they will correct. I will have 30 days trial period.
She asked me if I understood that I will receive this info and the credit report, and if I understood the ton of information she provided me she said in less. She waited for me to say yes, but of all what she said I remembered hearing that I will have "30 days trial period".
I told her that I did not understand the purpose of her call and her intent clearly. Indeed, she was trying to make me agree and approve her service that indeed is a disguised offer that I never requested. She did say trial period of 30 days among all what she said about the service but she never said that I would be billed after 30 days.
Fortunately I grab the "30 days trial period" out of the 200 words or more she threw at me concerning my credit report and them monitoring it. This only allowed me to step back and tell her I believe it was a disguised offer ... that is when she hang up on me.

Be careful to this CREDIT REPORT mailed to you and the bank monitoring it. It appears at first as if they are taking of a preventive and precautionary measure they want us to be informed off BUT it turns out to be a disgusied sale speech that only the words "30 days trial period" can reveal if you got them out of her rapidly delivered speech. So never say yes if you are not sure of what point she is making of her intent.

She never explicitly revealed the purpose of her call. And as a customer of BOA (having accounts with them), please do not hang up on me people of BOA ... even if you get caught at your own game!

I do personal business with you and my position as an accountant force me to do official business with you as well. So your residential startegy also impact your business customers.

Anyone that has a checking account with Bank of America watch your account closely for fees that shouldn't be. The advantage checking account fees are supposed to be waived if you carry over a certain balance. My mortgage balance alone covered that, however BOA changed my mortgage loan number then started charging me fees. Even after bringing it to there attention, they have the new loan number linked to my checking account so it won't happen again, but hey why aren't they crediting my account for there past mistakes to the tune of $20.00? My guess is that everyone got a new loan number at the start of the year & when you got thousands of customers falling under balance and getting hit with $20 fees, its a big chunk in their pocket.

My husband and I filed for the Make Homes Affordable program in August, 2017, when we heard that there was availability for people who had not yet been late and did not wish to be. We had reduced income due to job loss. We were told by Vanessa at BAC that as long as we were not late on any payments, including the trial modification payments, that this would not affect our credit. Well, here we are a year later and found out that they turned us in as late in June, July and August, EVEN THOUGH ALL PAYMENTS WERE ON TIME. Now, we got a letter in the mail that they are filing foreclosure proceedings. They are liars and are ruining people's lives. Shame on them.

- Bank of America makes nearly 40% of their annual profits from fees, charges, etc. to their "valued customers", and will soon be charging around $9 to speak to a teller at any branch. -As stated on CNN in October, 2017-

I have had my share of horrible experiences with them, and actually just finished up with the latest claim on my wife's B of A account.
Months ago in May, a company called "Passport to Fun" charged her account without her realizing it until a couple of weeks ago when she noticed a second charge from the company and decided too look back. We filed a claim at the local BofA branch (HELL of a process) and they said the claim would be processed and the charges reversed within 7-10 business days.
Come to find out as I investigated today, they reversed all but ONE charge which was an "extended negative balance charge"- keep in mind they just closed out her account due to the neg. balance AFTER making the claim. She only had the negative balance due to the unauthorized transactions that took place, and BANK OF AMERICA'S ADVERTISED POLICY is that YOU, the account holder, are NOT responsible for ANY UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS on your account.

After my many phone calls to several different departments of BofA, (the run around) I found out that the company that charged her out of the blue (Passport to Fun) IS AFFILIATED WITH BANK OF AMERICA! The BofA rep actually told me that, (probably without knowing my suspision). Included in this piece of information I found out from the rep that Bank of America never actually filed a claim on my wife's behalf, they just spoke directly with Passport to Fun and had the charges reversed. It was no problem due to their "buddy buddy" relationship. However, they still closed out my wife's account due to being in the negative from these unautharized charges from their affiliate. Looks like I spoke to the right rep at the right time, because in my past experiences, the customer service reps could care less about you're issue, don't know anything (or chose not to tell you if they do), give you the run around, and in the end, you're right back where you started.

I will leave you with this final statement/personal opinion.

Bank of AMERICA puts shame to our name. AMERICA: Land of the free, home of the brave, and everything in between.

Bank of America (BOA) Insurance Scam. I found out in 11/2017 that BOA was debiting $20 a month from my account. I was surprised to find out they had been debiting it for over 2 years. I called BOA to get the number to the creditor and they told me it was Smart Step and gave me their number. I called and told them I did not order anything from them and had not received and accidental life policy. At that point I thought this really is a scam and told the person at BOA insurance to send me my policy. I also told him to stop debiting from my account. I did not receive anything in the mail and this came to my attention again in March 08. I lost my job and again called and requested them to stop and they did not. I called my bank and they said that I had to handle it myself and they would not refund the money they scammed from me. A year or so later I talked to a branch manager who told me that Smart Step is actually a BOA company and to file a fraudulent claim and I did. Long story short BOA and BOA insurance would not refund my more than $500 they took out of my account and BOA would not refund the hundreds in overdraft fees directly linked to this. Now I do not have a bank account and my credit has been affected by this. I am going to continue to fight BOA and BOA insurance and file complaints with the banking commission in NC (the corporate headquarters of BOA) and with the Better Business Bureau. Maybe if enough people come forward we can stop BOA.

4 Cashier's checks from Citibank amounting to a total of $ 36, 500.00 were sent to BoA for deposit into my checking account. Even though Citibank cleared these checks on May 18, 2017, BoA refused to make the funds available to me me until May 22, 2017. by placing a 'HOLD' on the amount for 4 additional days. This 'HOLD' placed by BoA illegally resulted in a check returned 'NSF' and a fee of $ 35.00 being charged to my account.

On april 13, 2017, an employee at bank of america keyed in a charge on my credit card account. The charge was for $272.00. The employee entered the transaction number (9057) instead of the dollar amount of the charge. That translated to a charge on my credit card of $9,057.00!

As soon as i saw this charge on my bill (may 1) i contacted the bank. They told me that it must be a fraudulent charge and that i should close my acct. While they investigate! I agreed.

15 days later, not a word from bofa. I called to check my balance and the $9057 charge was still on my account! Not only that, but interest charges were accruing, as well as an over the limit fee and late fees as i refused to make a payment until this was straightened out.

65 days later, 23 phones calls and over 17 hours on the phone with bofa, and the charge is still on my acct.! They finally admitted to me how the error occured and assured me that they would fix the problem. 2 weeks later, nothing. I spoke to 11 supervisors! Re-telling the entire story over and over and over again!

Yesterday i called to check my balance and the money was finally credited to my account! However, they did not credit all the bogus fees on my acct. Due to their negligence! I am still fighting to get the over $500 in fees back!

I asked a supervisor if they could, at the very least, lower my interest rate to compensate me for the pure hell i have been through (and am still going through). I was told that there was nothing they could do for me!

Do not, i repeat, do not use bank of america for anything! Credit cards, checking/savings, whatever! Don't do it! I have been a customer for over 10 years and they spit in my face! Additionally, during every single one of the 23 phones calls i have made to date, not one bank of america employee has ever apologized to me! They are horrific!

I hate the fact that they would hold the pending transaction for 2 days it messes up my balance. I also hate the fact that they would clear big amounts first before the small amounts. Imagine if you have 6 pending transaction and another check is coming into clear and you don't have enough money to cover the pending one they will first pay the big ones before the little and charge you $210 dollars for that 6 transaction. $210 is going into their pockets. I hate Jonahtan Gilber #1580 He's the manager of customer service at Bank of America who will not reverse 1 nsf fee.

The Supervisor would not let my husband get a word in and he had to asked her to stop talking so he could tell what the other lade had said.

I went to deposit my paycheck on friday @ noon. They said I could only have access to $100 until tomorrow. This irritated me but I let it go. The next the day the money wasn't there so I called them. They said that due to my lack of deposits with them, they were going to hold my paycheck for 5 days. I am a new customer with them. I told them I needed the money because I had 3 young children and need to buy food. They didn't care. I could see their point if it was a personal check, but it was my paycheck, from a local business. What I support my family on. I told them that I would be canceling my acct as soon as I can get my direct deposit that I had just set up change over to a different bank. I also told them I would tell everyone I know and tell the public in every way possible not to use their bank and if they were, to cancel. The associate I spoke to refused to let me speak to a supervisor. They said in their huge booklet they sent me with it states in their they could hold anyone's money at their discretion. Don't ever use this bank. They are heartless, money grubbing, useless people that waste the oxygen that God gave them.

If you have a Bank of America Credit card at a low interest rate, do not miss a payment or they will raise your interest rate to 32 percent for the next 6 months before they will drop the interest rate in the slightest. Do like we did, pay them off and cance your credit card. This is the only way they will get the message that they cannot treat people this way with out repercussion. I believe a class action law suit would be in order if enough people experience this tradgedy as we did.

house flooded on 12/20/2017. They received the check will not turn over to the remolding company to restore the home. They even know I have a child with severe ashma that has been at the urgent care three times. The insurance I pay for to be covered for a loss. they do not care because I asked for a home modification in Sept 2017. Still not completed. Taylor Bean and whitker sold them the loan after I request a modification in 5/2017. Getting the run around from everyone except the insurance company Modern Home insurane was wonderful on their action. Bank of America needs to be sued for allowing the work not to be done with sick child in the home. If I lived like this children would be taken away. House is all in shambles living in one room.

IM FURIOUS! Well I didnt want to open an account with this bank in the first place, but the lady said she could open a student checking account and absolutely get me a credit card even though i have never had credit, i then informed her that i would use this account for direct deposit. She said go ahead and give you payroll department a blank check. Sounds easy... Dont think so. As i woke up friday and checked my bank account to my surprise there was no money in my account. So I called customer service and the lady told me that since florida is soooooo over populated they have to issue a separate routing number for direct deposit. WHY? WHY? This is the only bank that does this in florida! Because they are scam artist! Long story short they still havnt given me my money and its been 4 days. ALLLLLL because this didnt give me the correct routing number! and customer service is like "we apologize" well so do i because when im through with this someone will be unemployed! What a great bank!

Do not believe it when B of A says they back your transactions. Now for the second time a merchant ripped me off and after taking my statement B of A found for the merchant. The recent one is for Vision Star, Inc., Los Angeles (DBA HomeStarSearch.com) where their monthly fee continued after I requested ending the service. The earlier one was worse... I allowed Sterling Optical to charge over $600 for new glasses. They never produced nor delivered them to me. In both cases the "investigation" phase at B of A accepted the lies told by the merchants and debited my account. I'm through with them. My first account with them was in 1979 (the last good bank, Security Pacific that was acquired and destroyed by B of A) and they've made a ton of money from me. That ends now.

I currently am the owner of a tax preparation/representation business. I have a Bank of America VISA card on which I put all my expenses. I don't always pay it off each month. So I do incur interest charges. However, I did pay it off in September 2017. I also charged some expenses on it. When I received my bill, they showed that I had paid off the total amount and it was posted well ahead of the due date. I also noticed there was an interest charge on the bill. When I called Bank of America, the customer service rep told me it was residual. I told her that is BS. She then removed it from my bill. This is so typical of the big bully Bank of America, hoping you won't notice when they slip charges in. I had charged $350 some dollars and they computed interest on $600 something. They had no right to do this. You only charge interest if the bill is not fully paid. I just received this bill and plan to pay it. It's not about the small amount of interest. It is about doing this to customers and raking in what they can hoping you don't notice. Bank of America is a dishonest, greedy, terrible bank. It is hard to change banks when we have three accounts. I am submitting this complaint against Bank of America.

I want to complain about the "new" ATM's that are at my branch. These new machines do NOT allow for any privacy for deposits or withdrawals.

If I dont complain about it, then nothing gets done to change these machines back to a secure screen. I have forbid my wife from any transactions thru the ATM because anyone behind you or even to the side can SEE exactly what is on the screen.

Also with the scanned deposits, anyone that may loose that transaction sheet could have issues with all the names/addresses/phone numbers that show on the screen receipt.

Did ANYONE at bank of America even think all of this thru, I have only 10 mins with the machine making a deposit and withdraw and seen all these security issues!

I would like a response back letting me know if this is how it is going to be with the ATM, (unsecured) because if it is, I need to re-think our banking. (And I do know that Bank of America doesnt care of the people that have been with them for 37 years.. just another account, to BofA)

Juniper sold to B of A, couldn't pay either on-line as neither site would accept payment. Spoke with BofA "you don't owe anything this month." Today received call from a cred coll agency. They say I am in arrears. They want last month's payment which I sent to other creditors. NEVER BELIEVE THIS HOCKUM! I proceeded on my merry way and now have BofA claiming I missed a payment. I think this might be a scam. I'll send them the money due but I HATE the way they treated me..and so HATE THE ###...

I ran a credit report on myself as I do annually. Having an 800+ credit score for over a decade I was shocked to see a defaulted account with BOA. I went to my local branch who attempted to help and a week later while on vacation I tried to use my debit card from BOA and realized $4500 was stolen from my account by guess who... BOA. They said they had the right to take it as it was in default, despite the fact that I called them and filed a formal dispute. After having family wire money so i could eat i called my attorney who convinced them it was an illegal action. They still have yet to rectify and are trying to hold me liable for a co-workers credit card, even after the credit app. lists NO such person. My credit is destroyed and I am forced to sue them. Worse I have an application for me which was forged and in the same handwriting as the internal bank papers for which i had no access. I have recently sold a home and have capital to buy a new one yet my rotten credit score will not allow. To add insult to injury the existing BOA card was cancelled and they raised the interes rate to 29.9% without even telling me. It is a discrace that we bail the criminal out and the still rob from the working Joe to give their lavish bonuses. They make Berni Madoff look innocent. I pray I get my day in court.

Apparently if I pay my bill which is due on the 28th on the 29th, 30th, 31st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th then that will not be tolerated by the bank and I will get penalized. They want me to wait until the 9th to pay my bill due on 28th? Even if I pay my bill within the same month its due, they will back date it to the bill that was due, paid, and credited the previous month if I attempt to pay b4 the 9th. They are encourageing and demanding I wait til the last minute and refusing payments the first half of the month practically. I hope these ppl go out of bsiness. It is not legal to refuse payments then lie and say it wasnt paid. They have the nerve to claim I skipped the sept pmt and that I paid two payments for the month of august. How the f*** coul a payment made on september 8th be considered for august? Liars cheaters thiefs

I was offered a zero percent balance transfer offer last year from Bank of America, the only catch (or so I thought) was I had to pay a fee of 2% up front. The rate is suppoesd to be good for 1 year. so I made the transfer on 10/15/2017, and when I received my statement with closing date 10/5/2017, I had already been charged for 1 full month of finance charge based on the new rate of 12%. I was like what the heck? Only 10.5 months later, my rate already changed from 0% t 12%?

so when i called, they claim that the clock started clicking when they "MAILED" me the offer, not when I actually activate it. I told them well, I've read all your fine prints and this was not SPELLED out in our term and conditions. SO i told them this is false advertisement. even if pay off the entire balance that very day, I would have been charged 2 months worth of finance charge, while the second month, I am OK to pay (consider it my bad for not paying if off earlier), but I really don't think i should pay the 9/5/09 to 10/5/09 interest!

Bank of America agreed to half my finance charge for 9/5/09 - 10/5/09. better than nothing i guess, but they are shady, very shady! and i was on hold for over 25 mins just to talk to a representative. they are very unfriendly and stand by their "false advertisement". I am planning to close my credit card with bank of america and have a little business with them as possible. this is not an honest institution and based on what i read from other ppl and the high fees they slap on all kinds of things, i don't think anyone should do business with them.

It is very sad to see that Banking and insurance has become a wile place for their customer, and for citizens to do business. This large entity’s and industries present a constant threat to our democracy and our way of life.

Bank of America by far has been bulling, reaping, and plundering customers like me with their constant changes, on fees and services. Their mistakes are very expensive to all their customers, who have no protection from any national agency or entity. With almost 9 million people out work today in our nation, I can’t believe that our government is not regulating these industries that gave our nation and the world, the major global depression we are in today.
I had several accounts with this bank, checking’s, savings, credit card, mortgage, CD’s, etc, etc…. for many years, and the feeling that I’m living today, is that they sack the life savings out me.

I have a credit card that was previously MBNA then transferred over to BofA the BofA bought them out. I have had numerous problems with the new BofA website, but it wasn't until I called into customer service to try and figure out what was wrong, that the real horror began. For the record, I'm a pretty laid back person, and I never raised my voice during this entire exchange. When the tech on the other end couldn't figure out what was wrong, I asked to talk to someone else. I was then told I didn't need to do talk to someone else because nothing was wrong. I had to ask twice and then demand (which is something I rarely have had to do the 15+ years I've been dealing with customer service reps) that I be transferred, which the tech finally did with very ill-grace, but not before trying to argue with me in a raised voice about whether I needed to be transferred. I spent over 30 minutes on hold waiting for a manager and then found out that the manger had no technical skills and couldn't help me. I called back the next day during business hours thinking that the day crew might be better. Not by much, the tech still wasn't able to help me but at least he transferred me to a manager on the first request. After another interminable wait, the day manager was terrible, and if I had his name, I would print it here just to embarass him thoroughly. Not only did he cut me off and talk over me after every sentence I started, but he shouted so loud at one point that I had to hold the phone away from my ear. Completely disgusting uncivilized customer service. I've already closed my account with them and moved to another credit card company over the issue. And I was a loyal customer for over 10 years.

I ordered a MLB Authenic NY Mets Baseball Jersey, Last Year, before the season started. I recieved the Baseball Jersey this year, but a size to big. I spoke with a representive incharge of Bank Of America MLB sports ware. She, Ms. Anita DeSandra, Phone #[protected] informed me to return the shirt to her, and she will forward the right size. Anitta is incharge of the program. As of todAY I have not received or had my jersey returned. I also spoke with a member of Bank of America, Supervisor Myer, and she informed me I have to still talk to Ms. DeSandra. How, ever every time I call the number I get no call back...I have been robbed and violated as a customer to Bank Of America. I need your help..
