Popeyes review: Service....

My husband and I visited the location at 10613 burbank dr. In baton rouge, louisiana on the evening of may 4, 2021 around 6pm. We noticed the drive-thru line was extremely long so proceeded to go inside. The doors were not locked and the signage indicated the lobby was not set to close until 10pm. After a few minutes of standing inside (along with 2 other patrons waiting for their orders), we were yelled at by a worker who was later identified as "denisha". She proceeded to yell and talk over me stating that we would "have to go back outside" and that it was "drive thru only!" she was extremely belligerent, loud and unprofessional. After we left the establishment, I was so angry and shaken that I decided to call back and ask for the manager. As luck would have it (sarcasm), "denisha" was the manager and when I calmly explained to her my disappointment with the service received, her response was "ma'am, you'll be alright!" never in my entire life have I felt so disrespected. To know that there are individuals working in these establishments and exhibiting such horrendous and offensive behavior makes my blood boil. I will without a doubt pass this information on to any and all who will listen. My suggestion would be to screen and vet employees more thoroughly in the future, as I am a very calm individual, the next customer may not be.

P.S. As she yelled like an absolute idiot while we were in the lobby, the "peanut gallery" behind the counter cheered her on. An utter disgrace.
