WOW - Always loved PNC till now. They have removed without notification the ability to download past statements into excel and only allow it in PDF format which can be very tricky to convert. When you call for help they send to a group of online experts that know nothing - after multiple reps with conflicting info but no help I reached level 3 manager in the escalation group named Porsche on 4-14-25 at 3:29PM, PNC please pull the VOIP call log and listen. Porsche told me there was never that option, you know the one to export from account summary screen I had used for years and as late as 2 weeks ago, when I said she was incorrect, that I had used it as little as 2-3 weeks ago and for many years and then asked to please speak with someone that was familiar with and actually used and knew the system she said with attitude , oh you done did it now, hold...and I held for thirty minutes only to be hung up on. This was the 3rd time with over 20 minutes holds when asking to speak with someone with system knowledge or that could provide my 2024 records in excel that I was hung up on. Other CSU specialist told me the function was still there, but I did not know how to use it. The option to download monthly statements is there on the current month view but has recently been removed from the historical account activity and was previously available for download in 90-day intervals. BOTTOM LINE, historical account statements should be available to download into excel for accounting and bookkeeping. Removing this is a bud lite moment, gas lighting customers - bud lite esc - incompetent escalation group bud lite. Does PNC give a crow about its customers experience or their ability to access critical records in an easy-to-use format - APPARENTLY NOT! Please prove me wrong, I need the help
Recommendation: PNC needs to restore excel download of historical account activity or they are not a viable option for banking.
