Pizza Hut horrible place to work

I'm a driver at a Pizza Hut NPC location. I have been here for about 2 1/2 yrs. I don't know what it was like before NPC took over but in the past 2 1/2 yrs it has been miserable and is only getting worse. It's so bad that I'm applying to a different company that pays more and gives raises. In those 2 1/2 yrs I have gotten one 5 cent raise! That's it! They have finally given in to the no raises complaints and have implemented raise incentives. Basically, the only way you can get a raise is if you are crossed trained. I AM CROSSED TRAINED! Have been since I first started. I even ran shift a couple of times even though I'm not a manager. Because, at that time the store manager was in and out of the hospital, one shift leader we had only worked his scheduled hours and then left and never stayed to help, the area manager never brought in any other managers from other stores to help us out, and the other shift leader we had was a drug addict and was passed out in the back on every shift! So I ran shift many times instead of doing what I was hired for, deliver pizzas! They only care about numbers, they are money hungry a$$holes. They do not care about the health or happiness of their employees. They'd rather get rid of employees who are sick of their crap and speak up about it and hire new people instead of improving the way they treat us so employees stick around. I mean, am I mistaken, but doesn't a company save money trying to keep the hard working employees that they have instead of constantly hiring and training new ones? Ever since I started here we have been complaining about getting breaks. We don't even get 15 min to ourselves to eat something. Instead, we grab bites of cold stale pizza in between orders. Delivery drivers are trying to eat and drive at the same time! They expect us to get all of these surveys from customers but they don't care about us. Umm, newsflash! Why should we care about your company and your stupid surveys if you don't care about the health and happiness of your employees? Drivers get stiffed left and right and are never reimbursed for it, NPC feels the 33 cents a mile they get is more then enough. We only make $4.95 an hr when on the road. And, according to the IRS site delivery drivers who make minimum wage or less and use their own vehicles to deliver a company's product should be making 55 cents a mile. JUMP ON THE GRATUITY BAND WAGON NPC AND START CARING ABOUT YOUR EMPLOYEE'S WAGES! Force this inconsiderate customers to pay your drivers what they deserve for the service they are providing! Any ways, terrible place to work, I would not recommend working here to anyone and once I find a better job, I'm out.

Pizza Hut possible racist black woman

I went to the pizza hut yesterday and I went to the counter placed the order and handed the lady my card she swiped it and told me it was declined. The card had money on it so I went back out to the car and got another card that had more money on it. Came in placed the order with a different lady she was nice she told me it would be 20 min.. I went back in after 20 min.and the same lady that said the card declined. I stood at the register she started at me then picked up the phone stayed on it I sat back down. Then she got off of the phone I was there at the counter and the place was full of baseball players all were African American. She started asking them if they needed anything like I was invisible. One of them forgot his glass then she went to the other two or three behind me. I had to shout is my pizza ready. She said they cancelled it acting as if it had been the first time I came in. But I had to tell her I came back in 4:26 had to tell her when I reordered the pizza after all of that it was bout 5 pm I thought they never started the pizza so I asked if I could get a refund. Then the other one that was nice handed me the pizza. This is the last time I go into the Yazoo city MS pizza hut Its everywhere I go.

Pizza Hut disrespectful

On August 2nd 2015 at 7:40pm an employee from pizza hut delivered a pizza to one of our guest here at the Hampton Inn in Jackson, AL. There was no one here at the front desk to greet the employee because we are completely booked and understaffed, our front desk staff was busy meeting the needs of a guest. Here at the Hampton our guest always come first. When our guests order from pizza hut, the delivery person is encouraged to stop by the front desk before going to that room, so we can call that room and inform our guest that they are on their way up. Tonight on 08/02/15 there was no one at the desk when the pizza hut employee came by so she took the pizza up anyway, which is completely fine, no problem. When the employee comes back by the front desk, she very disrespectfully interrupts our staff that is checking in a guest. She yells and uses profanity very loudly at front desk staff causing a big scene. She is in an outrage because no one was at the front desk to call the room number when she first came in the door. We promote pizza hut to our guests bringing them lots of business. After this incident we are beyond disappointed from the disrespect and lack of professionalism with the business and their employee. If no action is taken against the young lady, we will refuse to promote any more business to this pizza hut here in Jackson, AL. We do not think she, herself, should be allowed back on the property. Pizza Hut customer service/wrong order/manager wanting to encite physical violence

Tonight 30/07/2015, I had rang Pizza Hut at Emerton and placed an order over the phone for a deal of 3 Pizzas, 2 garlic breads and drink. I ordered a Bbq garlic prawn pizza with tomato base, then asked for a Peri Peri chicken, but was notified they don't do them at Pizza Hut, so I ordered a bbq meat lovers with again tomato base, I then asked what other pizzas were available, the man had very quickly went through the menu of pizzas, I asked about one pizza and what it had on it, but decided not to get it, I began speaking to place my last order, but had realised the man had quickly got off the phone, I kept saying hello? Hello? Are you there? I had then heard him in the background talking to another customer, I had waited for a little bit then he got back on the phone and said hello, hello, I replied and said, hello, are you there now? Did your phone die? I then asked again what kind of pizzas there are, as I could not understand what he was saying as he had a strong accent. I asked about the Hawaiian pizza, he said there were two kinds, the second one was a chicken Hawaiian pizza, which sounded good, so I ordered that one and specified I again wanted tomato base and no bbq sauce on it as my friends son does not eat bbq, it makes him sick.
Me and my friend picked the order up at approximately 10:40pm and went home, when we had opened the pizzas we noticed the chicken Hawaiian pizza had bbq sauce drizzled all over the top. We immediately drove back to the store to have it replaced to the right order. When we advised the man that the order was wrong, he argued that it was correct and was demanding that we were in the wrong and refused to listen to reason, so I started to go over the phone conversation, again he became rude and demanded he was correct and thats the bottom line and just downright refused to do anything to rectify the error and also started to become argumentative, my friend then asked to speak to the Manager, to which he stated he was the Manager! My friend was astounded and began saying that this mistake was absolutely ridiculous and the customer service (rather the lack of) that this (manager) displayed was appalling and stated he'd rather go somewhere else than come back again and said he was going to complain. The man (manager) started arguing back and egged my friend to come outside the store and have a go (engage in physical violence)! My friend grabbed the incorrect pizza and said he was going to complain about him and started to come out to exit the store, the manager was still yelling to come outside and have a go, my friend had replied that his attempt to terrorize was pathetic, he exited the store and walked towards my car, the manager ran around the side door and rushed out (leaving another waiting customer alone and unattended in the store) saying, what did you say, what did you say, come back and have a go! My friend yelled back, stop being a terrorist and a hero and go back inside! The manager kept going on, we got in the car and left, appalled at what had just went on! We are even discussing if we should still contact Police about this incident! We are still in shock about the incident which is why I felt the urgent need to report this matter now!
We are very regular customers and have never had any kind of issue with this store, we have also never dealt or seen this worker (or Manager, if thats who he really is) before.
I have never witnessed such unprofessional and disgraceful behaviour from any (so-called Manager) or worker such as the behaviour that your employee had displayed! Unprofessionalism at its best!
I would definitely like some kind of action to be taken in regards to this particular employee immediately!

Pizza Hut order wrong again and again

For the third time this year this restaurant has gotten our order sooo wrong. First time, overcooked cookie had to make another took an additional 10 minutes (needless to say pizza was not hot anymore) and pizza did not have spinach on it. Second time no sausage on one of the pizzas and they forgot that I was waiting in the "pick up" parking spot. Third time forgot the give my daughter the Pepsi, she returned and went inside and was handed a BAG OF SPINACH and was told they forgot to put it on the pizza! Not only that these pizzas were awful! I feel that any excuse that we have been given like "short handed" or "made a mistake" or just "we forgot" is unacceptable at this point Everyone says to just go to Dominos and I think from this point on I will.

Pizza Hut food never delivered

On Wednesday, July 22, 2015, I placed an order on-line at 9:11pm for delivery to my home. The total cost was $41.09 and I received a message that my pizza order would be delivered by 10:01pm. By 10:15pm, I had not received the order, so I called the College Park store and the young lady who answered the phone began asking me the basic questions (name, phone, number, etc) to find my order. While on the phone with her, my house phone rings and it is another Pizza Hut employee (male) looking up my order, which at first he can not find but then he locates itf, he apologies and tells me that the order is on its way. It is now 11:23pm and the store is now closed, I still do not have my food and I think my credit card has already been charged. I tried calling the store before it closed at 11:00pm but of course no one answered the phone. OH, yes, I am very pissed, upset and still hungry! I will not be patronizing this Pizza Hut EVER again! And I will be going on social media and telling everyone I know not to patronize this store. Also, I will be making sure to stop payment on the order.

Pizza Hut Management

Pizza hut needs new management, that store is the dirties restaurant I ever been in . It use to be so nice to eat there, but now it is terrible.That Manager that runs that store needs to get another position, because he does not seem to care about that one. the last few week-ends i have been there he had been having only one waitress and himself on the floor . what seems to be the problem, he does not want anyone else to work there. The bathrooms smells, the salad bar is a mess. Before that person got there I loved to get there every week-end, never again. A lot of the people in this town has taken their business else where. A couple of time I have seen that same manager sitting with one of his waitress the same one he has waiting tables on the week-end, they are always sitting at a booth eating.Need to get some one that can run this business, because this manger you have has ran it down, There have been times when the employees are loud and unprofessional. Change is really need at that place get someone that cares because no one wants to eat in a dirty, loud and unprofessional business

Pizza Hut Drug use by employees

While pulling around the building in my car I saw a server named Gabbie smoking something out of a pipe. I dont think it was tobacco because she was also holding a cigarette. I contacted the company and have not received a reply. Also I spoke to an employee at this location and was told that the majority of the employees use drugs at work and the general manager knows but does nothing about it.

I agree with redhatter, if they want to smoke on their break, whether it is crack or cigarettes it is their private time. What I hated when I worked in retail was when customers expected you to help them while you were on their break. I refused to help this customer because I was ON BREAK and know what she did she played the race card even though management explained I was not required to help while on breaks. Guess what color the lady making the false claim was?

Sounds to me more like you are causing trouble because you were not hired here or got fired. They cannot do anything about the "drugged" employees because it is your word against their word and they cannot just fire the employees because you said they were abusing drugs on the job. They could sue pizza hut for that.

Pizza Hut very rude counter staff

10th June 2015 - walked in to Taipan Pizza Hut at 9:10pm and there weren't anyone at the counter to attend to customer. I walked in to the kitchen and asked the Malay staff to take my order and he responded short of staff. Than he came to the counter and after placing my order I asked him how long? He said 15-20mins and I asked him why? He replied in a very rude manner "short of staffs". Didn't have courtesy to apologise and after being annoyed with him, I said it's not my problem. Asked for his name as he wasn't even wearing his name tag. Than I continued to ask for his manager's name and he wrote in a piece of paper Amir and [protected]. Dial the no but went to voice mail. The pizza was ready, I noticed but again he did not come forward to hand it over to me. When I walked to him to ask whose no he wrote, he refused to answer and walked away..I followed him and asked for the 2nd time again he said he is busy. So I told him if you don't like to work here, don't work and the best reply from him was "IF YOU DONT LIKE TO COME HERE, DONT COME". I was amazed with his answer and told him will lodge a complaint against him. Previously there was a Nepal staff who is so friendly, cheerful and very polite. I'm not being racist here but the point is employing a Malay to work has proven a bad image to Pizza Hut, bad customer service experience. I want a written and verbal apology from your Head Of Customer Service and the feedback of my complaint of your staff, failing which I will not hesitate to write to your CEO. Hope to hear soon. Thank you

Pizza Hut disrespectful and unruly employee

First time ever trying to place an order Online with a coupon June 8, 2015. I called the nearest where I wanted to place the order and the employee asked what kind of coupon was it. I said a Pizza Hut Coupon that is Online. She said she had nothing to do with the coupons Online. I replied "this is what I want." She said You gon get that sensitive over a coupon you god damn b**** and hung up. I went to the restaurant and addressed her by her name as it appeared on the back if her shirt.I said________, I am the one that you called a b****. I asked for the manager and the district manager's name and she gave me her manager's name and a phone number. She said "Do you have the coupon?" I said no! She replied "Is there any other reason why you should be in the store and she walked away from the counter and walked towards the back of the restaurant. I called the phone number that she had given me before leaving the restaurant but to no avail. I went to my car and called he number again at this time she came near the entrance door of the restaurant removed the we floor sign. I sat patiently in my car until I was able to reach the restaurant manager.

Pizza Hut new rgm deserves to be fired!

I worked for pizza hut for nearly a decade. I started at age 17, and just quit about 3 months ago at age 26. In my time there, I was a cook/csr, shift manager, and store manager. Notice how I skipped from shift manager to store manager? That's because the new store I was working for kept LOSING RGM'S! In the 2 years that I worked for the brand new store, it went through 4 GM's (including me) After the 3rd RGM quit, my area coach asked me to be the temporary RGM, and run the store until a replacement could be found, since I had the most experience. I was a good manager. My team loved me, and I knew how to run things very well. My inventory was better than any other RGM that had run that place. My numbers were good too. So, I thought of this as an opportunity to show my skills, and I did. My area coach also said, depending on my performance, I'd be rewarded with a "bonus". And I was- with a $100 gift card. I also received NO recognition. Afterward, I asked about a promotion to assistant, and was told that, since I didn't have a car, I could be trained but I wouldn't ACTUALLY be promoted until I bought a car. Which is extremely unfair, because I knew RGM's who didn't even have a car! But I digress-
The 5th RGM who is working there now, only had 3 months experience in Pizza Hut restaurants PERIOD. She didn't know how to do anything! She didn't even know how to properly dispatch drivers. She came in, and started just changing EVERYTHING, and not for the better. She wouldn't listen to any advice I had. I was expected to "babysit" this lady until she got better. I was not about to do something so ridiculous. I quite. I wasn't going to let myself be used anymore.

However, I found out through some of my former employees (they miss me, so we still talk often) that she knowingly hired a driver who didn't have insurance, and they ended up getting into a car wreck at work. I KNOW she is supposed to be terminated for this, but she has not been. And apparently, the area coach also lied about it and helped to cover it up.

Justice needs to be served here! I want to do right by my former employees! What do I do?

i called at twenty after midnight and our ten dollar box was supposed to be dlieverd at twenty after when the pizza never showed we decided to call back and the call said to stay on the line if we were still waiting on our food and so i did for seven mins and didnt get a response and we were left hungry and very dissappointed

I live in Northland and have visited my local Pizza Hut to purchase the $4.90 special deal. This was still being advertised on TV, however the manager said, this is special does not apply to us, as the shop is franchised and not part of the advertising deal!
What is that all about... can the Pizza Hut stores pick and choose which deals they want to be part of even when advertised on national brochures and TV?

i ordered 30 dollars and some change for nothing, there was hair in my pizza i ordered on 09-28-2011 i also did'nt get a receipt.im not expecting nothing i just wanted good pizza and after that experience im going to another pizza place that just doesnt make sense!

I visited pizza hut in blackburn town centre

there was 5 of us we ordered and waited 50 mins and food had still not arrived so we complained then 25 mins later it arrived almost all the order was wrong so we complained again and the girl who was serveing us was very very rude!

in the end we just walked out all with empty bellies

it was apoling!

I have made Pizzas professionally for several outlets. I have been getting pizza recently from PAPA JOHNs for several weeks but decided to go back bad idea. I ordered a meat lovers pan pizza 1. pizza was soggy crust was not fully cooked 2. toppings were almost not there 3. cheeese was without taste 4.pizza was flat instead of thick (pan) PAPA Johns may not have pan pizza but at least it tastes like pizza

We were short changed by pizza hut delivery boy after we gave 100.00 bill for a 33.00 order... Pizza boy kept 20.00 of the change. Manager Jessica supported the delivery boy. when i asked that the full order be pickup and that they not bother to try and deliver the soda that was ordered but not delivered ...she refused

..I guess they take your money and you have to eat there cold food at pizza hut..

I ordered pizza and it took an hour and a half to arrive at my house I live 3 blocks away. When it finally did arrive, it was not cooked properly and it was cold. It was also poorly made, like flatbread with holes. I am never this angry over poor service but I will never eat there again, I could get a better frozen pizza then Pizza Hut's overpriced horse crap.

I ordered two large specialty pizzas 30.00.
Waited almost two hours.. when I called the restaurant I was hung up on. I called back and was given an attitude by the associate on the phone. I am the customer and I was treated very poorly. I will never order pizza from pizza hut again. I will take my business elsewhere. To top it off my pizza was cold when I got it.

A waiteress from the westquay in southampton had taken our food order & as we had waited for our pizza, s i had to ask another waiter to see where our pizza, s was coming & he had came back to us & then the store manager had came to us & told us that our pizza, s was, nt on there system for our table & had ask, d us what we had order, d & we had just left in disappointment

Hi..Saya nak complain tentang manager Pizza Hut Taman Tasik Prima Di Puchong Selangor...Manager(Lelaki) Pizza Hut di situ sangat Biadap...Semasa Kami makan di pizza hut disitu...Kami terdengar manager sedang marah staff di dapur..selepas itu..manager lelaki itu keluar dari dapur dan menjerit di depan coustmer perkataan "BODOH" dan dituju perkataan itu kepada staffnya...Ini adalah satu sifat sangat biadap dan tidak berdisiplin didepan coustmer..Saya Harap Pihak Pizza Hut Malaysia mengambil tindakkan tegas terhadap manager itu...Rating Pizza Hut akan jatuh sekiranya Pizza Hut Tidak Mengambil Berat Tentang masalah coustmer.Terima Kasih

Pizza Hut very poor service

I went to pizza hut located in AEON Rawang with my family on 1st May 2015 around 5.50pm to dine in. We placed our order by 6pm to a Malay female staff. Than we waited almost more than 30 minutes for our meal but there was no response at all. Customers who came after us are already start receiving their meal. So we asked the staff there for our order status. 1st staff who came informed that he will check but after that no response. Than we asked the same female staff who took our order for the status. To our disappoinment, she told that she doesnt know about it as she NEVER ATTENDED TO US AND TOOK THE ORDER. We as customers felt like fools sitting there for 40 minutes for our meals. I really felt that i humiliated my whole family by taking them to dine in in that pizza hut. I am a regular customer of pizza hut but this is the first time i went to that pizza hut in AEON Rawang. I am really disappointed with the terribly poor service of Pizza Hut Aeon Rawang. I will never recommend that place to anyone.

Pizza Hut employee discrimination

My manager Veronica carruth is extremely unprofessional. Veronica enjoys to disappear in the bathroom for 10 to 20 minutes during the day while on duty, letting an unmade order sit on the timer going over 15 minutes. She also loves to enforce rules that she refuses to follow, using the excuse "because I'm the RGM." She destroys our forecast and is not someone i prefer to work with because of her poor work performance. Veronica had made racists comments to one of our respected drivers trying to get him to say the "N" word in the store while a customer was up from waiting on an order. I hope something will be done about my concerns. Thank you.

i vesited the said restaurant many times and employes working in the kitchen dont ave aney nets to keep hair in place or if andling dough no gloves to me its not properbetiquette maibe look into this or maiby fhe healt dept . would like to pay a vesite thanks in advance to look into this mather

On sat. nite i ordered a large pizza and14 piece hot wings the pizza was dry with no sauce; the wings were full of vinigar and salt we had to dump it.A very bad experience.

Pizza Hut communication and manners

Me and my mother ordered our pizzas from henderson pizza hut store. I had to ask the person numerous times to read out the menu for classic pizzas and I had to repeat myself over 4x times which to my fustrations I had to even repeat my name many times. When my mum arrived to pick up the pizza he read out her name numerous times and my mum reapeted the words yes, yes, yes and then he stil had to ask "jake, is this for you?" and she had to yell yes for him to realise. Then she put her hand out for the change and he was rude to even put the change on the top of the pizza rather than in her hand. I find this quality of service very poor, a person should have good communication skills and a good manner of hospitality in working in the food industry and this was a poor example of that. I hokay, i'll just hope to stay and live with my family longer. I hope that this complaint becomes heard as it is unproffesional for promoting the pizza hut organisation. Thank you

i ordered the pizza from lincoln road store, they gave me wrong pizza, my hubby didn't check the pizza when we open the pizza its wrong one, so called them and the guy said its not fault, after few mins he said its there fault, he ask me to come and change the pizza in store or i have to wait for another 2 hours delivery, i was pissed off and i said i am not happy i want to complain he just hang up the phone. i just don't want to say, we have to eat the pizza which we didn't even like it, what kind of customer service ? i don't wan to go there again, so rude i hate it.

Pizza Hut late delivery

On the 1st of April 2015. I made a phone order of a big variety box from pizzahut. The time exactly I placed the order was 8.37pm...the operator told me it would be delivered in 45minutes. But after waiting for 45minutes I got a phone call back that told me to wait another 15minutes...to my dismay after waiting for another half hour after the call I still got no pizza. I called the hotline & the operator told me to wait for him to ask the branch manager to calle back in 10minutes which I didn't got the call at all. So after 2hours wait I called again to check the status & the operator again told me that he would ask the branch manager to contact me...in return I asked him to cancel my order instead. The operator said he would get back in touch...so after another 15minutes..I assume the branch manager from sri petaling called me. What she said the first thing was without acknowledging me as mr or anything...directly just said do u still want ur order...I said no..and she just hung up without any sort of apology. If this is the way pizzahut companies treats their customers then I would hopefully wish them goodluck because I would not have any future in dealings with them.

my name is shelley r flesher. i ordered a 30 dollar order for delivery approx. 10 oclock for me and my mother and was vbery looking forward to my stuffed crust pizza and a desert too! i will never order from you again, you did this to me before, never got it eitheir after paying with credit card on line..why, not a call email or response at all! if i dont get it delivered here tomorrow i am calling my credit card company and i will dispute this order..especially i already paid sooo much for it! just giving you more feedback on this matter... thanks for everything besides disappointment, you just lost me as a customer. and from your reviews from other customers they feel the same..whats the problem? Pizza Hut bad employment experience

I am writing to report on my attempt at employment at a Pizza Hut restaurant. I applied to Pizza Hut online for the Beulaville, NC restaurant recently and have experienced the absolute worst from them. They are constantly advertising that they are looking for new employees on a daily basis but most of the time when I ask to speak to the manager she is never in office or is busy even after they give me a designated time to stop back by the restaurant to come meet her. When I do happen to see her and ask her to check my application she responds that "She is not taking applications at the moment" yet she is still expressing to the public that the store is hiring when I ask her personally.

Pizza Hut late/no arrival for delivery

I went to the website and ordered a pizza for an upper management meeting. This is the second time I have done this. The experience is absolutely horrible. They give you a 30 minute wait time for delivery, which is expected-no problem. After 45 minutes, they are still not here. When I call to find out where they are, this is the response, " we don't delivery out there". Well...yes you do. "well the driver hasn't left yet", are you kidding? why not? "well, there is an hour and a half wait time". This is insane. Not only do they want you to pay ahead, they do NOT deliver when they are supposed to, if there is a wait time--they are not going to tell you until you call to find out where they are...THEN if you get in touch with someone...they are clueless as to anything going on where they work. I just moved to the area and am working at a new company. Where I moved from, I used to order from Pizza Hut all the time for meetings, employee lunches, etc. We had a wonderful relationship with them. This building, place...whatever you want to call them here...is horrible. I have gone inside once or twice, hoping it would get better each time. Forget that! All courtesy or respect for people and their time is out the window with them. It would not be so bad if they had the common courtesy to let you know it might be longer than you can wait. That way you can go somewhere else and return when you have more time. I am to the point, I will not recommend, go to or order from this particular restaurant again. I know we have had bad weather, but today there was absolutely no excuse. If they can not deliver, as stated or have the common descency to let the customer know about a wait time, maybe they should find another business to run in the ground!

Pizza Hut no change

Went in ordered my total was 26.08 I had a fifty they said I dont have change. Which confused me if my order is over $25. Y dont u have change ur a resturant! Thars ur job. So we managed to have $30. Between the 2 of us. I later went up and asked do u have change for a figfty now the manager with short blonde hair and glasses looked at me and said were not a bank. Ummm really I was goin to order to cookies. But umm nevrrmind u lost a sale. Also when I come in thrres never anybody to wait on u thee always behind the building smoking!

Pizza Hut pizza is cold and bad

First of all I used to be a steady customer of pizza hut since their
openning in egypt several years ago but today I ordered a medium pan
topped wiz pepproni and extra cheese and salad the order came after
1 hour and the pizza was so cold and the box was so oiled
then I called and complained so they sent another one took another hour
to arrive and for a reason that I don't get it the delivery guy missed the house
and I had to go downstairs in this bad weather to meet him since he was
lost and after all this the pizza came cold and so bad I am so disapointed
that you use to be one of the best now I think you will loose too many customers
