Office Depot review: service/professional attitudes

Saturday February 22, 2020 I went into store in Fort Smith, Arkansas to get three sets of books spiral bound. Two books together had a height around 1/2 inch, two sets, and another quite big book. When I went in for help around 6:30pm, the girl behind the counter said she would not be able to help because she had a project to work on. I told her I could leave the big book for later but asked about the two sets to be bound together. Knowing it would take
10-15 minutes, she refused and the on-site management also told me it's impossible. I was looking at the area behind the desk and the machinery that was used for the project, there was absolutely no reason this "manager" couldn't do it herself. I told her I came from 35 minutes away but they still wouldn't help. I do a lot of business with office depot and I have been watching this store slowly die over the last 10 years. You need every customer that's left. There was no reason this couldn't have been done. You used to have a dark hair young man behind the counter that would stop any "project" he was working to help. He is quick, a pleasure to work with, and does his best to be accommodating. There two females where not concerned with a customer needing ten minutes of service. DISAPPOINTMENT!
