Netflix The last agent made me quite frustrated

I have been in communcation with your customer service both through chat and speaking with two different agents on the phone. The last agent made me quite frustrated. She gave me her name as Christine and her id as 10392. She also said the conversation was recorded so you can probably listen to the entire conversation on that record.

I had a Netflix account. I do not ever remember setting up that account or using it. However, since it has been in existence for so long, I am not asking for a refund that goes back to the beginning of the account. However, I moved in March 2018 and know, for a fact, that I have not used the account since then. Whenever I try to login to Netflix on the tv or online to see if I have an account I have been told I do not have an account. In my chat today the agent checked the email being used for that account and, while he would not say what it was, he verified it was not either of the two emails I have ever had. So, someone has been fraudelently been using my account. That chat agent credited me one month's fee and told me I had to go through my bank for any other refunds. He then closed my account.

I called my bank who said they could not resolve it unless I filed a fraud claim which I did not want to do to Netflix since the account has been on record for so long and I can not prove that I did not open the account initially. So the bank transfered me directly to Netflix live representative.

I explained my situation to the agent and she transfered me to Christine. To get to the point, Christine told me that Netflix could not refund me any money because the account has been closed (which I did because the chat agent suggested doing so.) Then, about this point in the conversation I could not understand her because her phone was breaking up. Her response to that was that she couldhear me which is good but doesn't mean I could understand her. She refused me any options to get back to her or for her to call me. She basically told me that this is Netflix' policy and I had to live with it.

I am completely apalled by your customer service. Please look into this issue and respond to me.

The reason they weren't able to refund you for months further than the last payment won't have been that the account was closed, but that the account had been used up till recently. It's not necessary for you personally to actually prove anything if your card had indeed been used without permission, you can ask a Netflix agent to send you a fraudulent charges form which you can take to the police when reporting the unauthorized use of your card. They can then contact Netflix for information for their investigations. Doing so, you're not accusing Netflix of fraud, but reporting that someone used your card without permission to open an account. You were instructed by both Netflix and the bank to report this to the police and then get back to the bank, it's up to you to follow this procedure through the correct channels.

Although, having said that, if this was the only unauthorized charge you've had going from your card and no other unauthorized purchases, it's very likely the account was set up by yourself or a family member.

Netflix Security of individual information

I got an email from Netflix that my phone number changed on Apr 28. But I have not changed it by myself. I asked chat to discuss it at Netflix site on Apr 29. But the answerer didn't give me sufficient answer to me. She guessed it had been changed after I used at a public place. I have not take out my iPad. The application has been set up only on my iPad. I requested to investigate how this can occur, but she never listen to me and answered same comment as if a machine. I asked her Complaint Form many times but she didn't answer. Would you investigate who changed my phone number? My Netflix account is isidor.[protected]@gmail.com

You can't change the phone number on the application, it's done through the account settings on the web site. Who exactly has been able to access your account, there's no way of tracking this. Just change your password and sign out all devices. You can do this on http://www.netflix.com/account and read up on how to keep your account secure on https://help.netflix.com/node/13243

Netflix Way too much violence, sex, foul language and gore

A good story and good acting does not need the offensive language, sex, gore and violence you present in your films. Dulling the audience senses of decency and correct behavior you are perpetrating the expansion of uncivilized behavior and moral decay.
Being a new Netflix viewer the only show I have really enjoyed has been
Anne with an E of Green Gables. Also enjoyed the historical fiction series but had to fast forward to avoid watching all the unnecessary gore, violence and sex. If people are enjoying this they must already be mentally ill or being influenced into thinking this kind of behavior is acceptable.
I hope you will take responsibility for the impact your shows have on the general population and that your shows are influencing society in a very degenerative way. Please stop doing this!

I agree with you! Years ago, Netflix offered really great movies. Now, most of the programs we are to choose from are vulgar and full of violence. What previously had been pornography is presented for anyone for their daily viewing. Young people have been indoctrinated by the entertainment industry into believing that all these activities are socially acceptable. “Garbage in; Garbage out!” Just read the news today.

Netflix doesn’t seem to care about content or their customers, they just want your money. We will be stopping our subscription because there are other choices that offer better options.

We pay for Britbox, Amazon Prime, and Curiosity among others. I hope others are able to search for better choices than Netflix. After all, we still have a choice.

Netflix Ozark

Disgusting racism during episode one against Muslims, and Mexicans. I Didn't understand how could such a racist wording be approved from a trusted company like Netflix. If it was against African Americans, Whites, or jews it would be a different story. I believe that god is watching whats happening, hence everyone will get what they deserve. What i watched was pathetic and unacceptable. At the end, the author is the who is supposed to clean toilets because his history is known against muslims history and power. Honestly, he is not even worth mentioning because he is simply a corrupt dirty minded person that will end up dying from a disease that make him wish cleaning toilets instead.

I'm getting really tired of seeing complaints from wannabe censors. Understand this - if you're trying to ban a show, performer, or piece of media, I'm against you. I don't care if it's "Hitler's Greatest Hits - Vol. II." We're not going to modify our self-expression because you "don't feel safe, " or are offended. I'll advocate opinions I disagree with just to punish you for trying to censor something.

Now, go clean your toilet. It's disgusting.

Netflix Watching Netflix on cell phone

Sound Issue [protected] I have previously complained to you about inability to watch Netflix Movies on my cell phone. It is the only device i have that i can watch Netflix on. I no longer have a computer or a TV. I have been with you for many yrs however if the sound issue is not resolved i am going to have to cancel my subscription which would really be a shame. I am once again asking you to resolve this sound issue. It is so low i can't hear what the characters are saying. Pamela Johnson

Netflix Bring back Santa Clarita Diet! Please!

Please bring back Santa Clarita Diet! Please. Such a great show and it's disappointing that it ended so quickly. Funny, witty, great writing and I love the chemistry between the characters. Can you please consider a few more seasons and rethink your "3" seasons and done methodology that caused it to be canceled. I'd rather watch SCD than Tiger King that promotes cruelty to animals.

Netflix Netflix doesn’t stand behind the gift cards they produce

I have not one, but 3 Netflix gift cards in the amount of $30 each. I received them as a gift over a year ago and never used them. Supposedly, they do not expire. Imagine my surprise when I attempted to use them only to find out that all three had PIN numbers that, according to the Netflix website and several Netflix representatives, had "already been used". Netflix customer service keeps referring me to the merchant, Netflix should rectify this issue since they clearly issued multiple gift cards with the same number. The merchants do not produce Netflix gift cards, Netflix does. Netflix needs to stop trying to pass the blame and own up to a mistake that was clearly made by them. I now have $90.00 worth of gift cards that are completely useless. A quick google search indicated that this has happened to numerous other consumers. Shame on you Netflix for not standing behind your faulty gift cards and cheating people out of money!

It sounds more like the gift cards were not actually activated at time of purchase, or did the customer rep find accounts the cards had been used on? If they send you back to the retailer, it means they never received an activation confirmation from the retailer. It's a pity they're old cards, as it'll be pretty much impossible to trace unless you had the receipts.

Netflix Tiger King

I understand that Netflix is a mode of delivery and doesn't necessarily endorse the content of programs that are offered. However, I wonder if a show like Tiger King really does more harm than good. For myself, I will never watch another episode after seeing the first one, because I truly care about wild animals and their protection. If Joe Exotic is exploitative, then certainly presenting his horrific antics as entertainment is exploitative as well. Too many Americans are low-grade intelligence to see why this is so harmful and despicable. I am glad I will not ever renew my contract with Netflix, shows like this are degrading to one and all.

Netflix The First Temptation of Christ

Please delete the Netflix show "The First Temptation of Christ" it is a mockery of my faith. Netflix is spitting in the face of millions of Christians all over the world by creating and allowing this show to be on Netflix. Millions of people have signed petitions to have this show removed and to no avail. Netflix ignores the requests of it's viewers. It is disgusting, that is not customer service. I will delete my Netflix account and urge everyone I know to do the same because of this blasphemous, insulting show. I cannot believe the platen disrespect Netflix has to have a show of this nature. It is an attack on Christianity and on GOD.

Netflix Content

In regards to the Netflix show Freud It is absolutely despicable the amount of full frontal male nudity this piece of crap show has. And of course in keeping with the current hypocrite hollywood trend show absolutely no female full frontal nudity what so ever. What the hell is going on in the movie industry and with Netflix. Is there something so gruesome with vulva or labia that you dare not show it. Is a woman's vulva so disgusting that it has to be censored. Or is it that fem-nazis have taken over Netflix and won't allow it. Whatever the reason I am so close to cancelling my subscription for Netflix's discrimination against women.

I can tell by your simpleton response and millennial spelling that you completely missed the point (no surprise). My complaint has little to do with nudity and completely nothing to do with porn. It has everything to do with the misandry attitude of hypocrite hollywood and the apparent dominance of the current fem-nazi trends. The whole #metoobutnotyou despicable craze has pussified actors, directors, and producers alike. Bottom line it’s about equality and movies either showing labia or men wearing a murkin like female actors get to.

Netflix Cancellation

EXTREMELY disappointed that you are canceling Messiah! I suggested this show to several of my friends and co-workers. EVERYONE loved it. I don't know who makes these decisions but they should reconsider canceling shows that are left in a cliff hangers.
I JUST DONT GET IT! We as customers dedicate our time to these programs. You should commit to at least two season if the plot line is unresolved. If you can't then don't bother putting it on at all. You only waste your customers time by not completing a story line!

Netflix Show content

Seriously Netflix, enough already with all the full frontal male nudity! I cannot watch even one new show for adults without seeing a naked man full frontal. ENOUGH ALREADY! Who is this content aimed at? The majority of women don't want it, and straight men certainly not. Will gays and feminist be enough to keep Netflix afloat?
OR - how about what females are always screaming for - equality! Let's start seeing labia. After all isn't that the equal to male nudity? Not the fake Murkin thick bush but actual labia. Let's see equality, I'm for that!

Netflix Refund required

Account [protected]@gmail.com
contact: +27 [protected]

I have been trying to get in contact with Netflix for the last 2 days with no success. It seems that you guys are quick to debit accounts but do not have a proper customer service environment, no proper contact numbers, no proper email adress. People have queries and you need to get on board.

In February 23 2020 netflix debited the agreed amount of R139.00. in the same month February 25 my child went onto netflix using his own phone which i immediately stopped as you would have picked up on the number of devices being streamed on. I further immediately cancelled the adjusted package which was R169.00 back to R139.00 but it seems that Netflix debits accounts immediately . In march 20 2020 Netflix has debited my account of R139.00 and again on March 23 2020 of R139.00. this is upsurd, that my account can be debited 4 times in 2 months and Netflix failed to pick up what had happed.
Netflix should change the way they operate, if someone tries to change a packed they should implement a verification system that send an sms code. There are no safety measure put in place that creates a risk when children are involved. I believ netflix is responsible for all safety festures on tehir application. This seems to be a fraudelaunt system that you guys are running. I have noted alot of people complaining of double debit orders...fix it

Mate, you've got two accounts with different email addresses open, one started on the 20th and another on the 23rd. You or someone else has entered your payment details on two separate accounts - could be that you tried to sign in to a new device and had a typo in your email, could be your son having opened a second account, any number of things.

As for safety measures, you as the account owner are responsible for the people who you allow to use the account. They do send you an email if there have been any changes to your account (email change, plan upgrade etc), and these can be easily reversed if you go to your account settings or contact them directly instead of moaning about it on a public forum while posting your billing information. That's what's upsurd.

help.netflix.com. Check the page for your local phone number or if one isn't available, live chat. It may take a moment for you to get through as there are certain things going on in the world at the moment, but they'll sort you out.

Netflix using netflix on windows 10

Does Netflix have the worst customer support for any organisation in the world?

You ask them about an issue, they provide no solution and you get the following message every day:

"Hi- just checking to see if you were able to fix that Netflix issue from yesterday.

YES: https://gethuman.com/u/RN8pvpjAD

NO, I still need help: https://gethuman.com/u/4n2eL2KeT

We still really want to help if we can!

-The GetHuman Team

PS: We'll only ask you one more time, trying not to bother you too much about it.

Gethuman Support

No matter which option you choose, the presentation and logic of the "support" website is just terrible. Probably the worst I have ever seen (I have a degree in IT and have built websites)

lol, no you weren't. The two companies are in no way affiliated with each other, Netflix has their own customer support. A quick google search shows that GetHuman is some kind of platform advertising to let you jump the waiting queue on a customer service call (and most likely charging you for this). It may have come up as a paid promotion on Google, or as a pop-up if your computer happens to be riddled with malware. I would not recommend giving them any account or payment details.

Just go to help.netflix.com and click on 'start live chat' at the bottom. You'll get an actual Netflix customer service rep in the chat, and it's free. They'll sort you out.

Netflix Distressing content shown

Upon turning on Netflix, the very first thing I was shown was a large image of the Pennywise clown from the IT film.
Horror films make me very anxious and I had not clicked on the horror section. To see this very large image of a horror clown appear on my screen as an advertisement with no warning was distressing.
There is no option on Netflix to prevent this.
