Ek wil graag 'n verduideliking hê hoekom nadat ek betaal het my diens by DSTV drie keer opgeskort is. Elke keer as ek inbel word daar vir my gesê dat daar foutiewelik die ander pakket aan my rekening gekoppel is en ek nie betaal het daarvoor nie.
Ek het Sondag die 8ste aan die persoon verduidelik dat ek my salaris ongtelukkig baie laat ontvang het en dat hy voortaan my betalingsdatum moet aan skuif na die 7de van elke maand.
Hoop dit is so gedoen.
En tot my verbasing was die diens die 13de weer opgeskort en weer moet ek my geld opbel om antwoorde te kry en weer is daar aan my gesê dat dit nie weer sal gebeur nie.
En wat nou vanoggend die 18de is dit weer opgeskort en weer moet ek inbel op my onkoste om te hoor wat aangaan ene Vuzi het my weereens verseker sy weet nie hoekom dit weer gebeur het nie, wat vir my heeltemal onaanvaarbaar is ek moet elke keer my minute opgebruik om julle probleem op te los maar daar gebeur net mooi niks nie.
Ek verwag 'n antwoord op my brief so spoedig moontlik asseblief met die verstandhouding dat dit nie weer sal gebeur nie.
Ons wil so graag van julle dienste gebruik maak maar dit lyk my alles werk net nie uit ni.

Anyway, here goes...
Last night I was, as always going through the SuperSport channels to watch a few highlights...
I scrolled through every channel and 12 out of the 14 SuperSport channels had soccer on... now I honestly do not mind soccer but am not an avid watcher of the sport. Surely if so much time/effort/money can be spent on broadcasting every single soccer match in the world, you can dedicate a channel just for other sports as well...
Why not have a dedicated channel for Golf so all the golf fans can be happy?
A dedicated channel for rugby... for the rugby lovers?
Even if the channels have replays of some highlights from the past weekend for the relevant sport or some other related shows of the sport?
I just cant see how all channels need to show one specific sport at the same time...
Surely you need to know that you dont JUST have soccer fans as subscribers?
I pay a lot of money to enjoy basically just sport... I can get all the rest of the stuff on the net so I feel that everyone must be looked after not just soccer fans.
I honestly and truly feel unhappy about this and hopefully the same attention and consideration will be given to this complaint as you obviously give to soccer fans...

continuous rebooting of decider
My decoder and that of my neighbors keeps on rebooting. I am now fed up as I cannot watch or record a full movie. What pisses me off even more my first email has not been tended to. It is now time to find an alternative service provider. What am I then paying for as I only get to enjoy my dstv half the time. You do have monopoly in the market and I expect better service. Can someone who knows what is going on please call me.
dstv error code
I'm having an E16 error code from my tv, and no one seems to be helping me? I've been calling and calling and I've waisted to much money staying on the line only to be talk that they will escalate my problem to the supervisors...I'm so angry and disappointed on multi choice...this is unacceptable on the highest level! Can I please be helped...other wise tell me to cancel this as it seems you can't help me!
6 months ongoing issue
i have been without dstv since April due to ongoing issue that has made me decide to leave it off until someone has called me back. well lets just say that did not go well for me at all
i am still waiting for a call back from DSTV since April they never ever got back to me has we had ongoing issues with payments and package as they claim i upgraded and downgraded.
i advised that a manager call me back in April its October im still without dstv and no call back.
Saturday i could not get to terms with what has happened and i decided to pay it to watch the Boks match only to find out that the payment i made was for arrears amount owing?
since when does dstv let you watch for free?
now its the 16 of October im still again without service regardless that i paid and flipping livid!

please I would like to suspend my account due to a fault in my decoder.
when I on my decoder both red, yellow and the green light will come on after which only the yellow will come on later the red then the green.
After that the only thing you will be seeing is SCANNING IN PROGRESS and below it is searching for signal, no channels will be seen on the screen only searching for signal.
price lock package billing
At the beginning of Oktober is saw that mylti choice deducted R2700 from my account with debit order. I phoned on tbe 03/10 and the person at customer service said that they would elevate my request and some will phone me back. On the 10/10 I phoned customer servic again just to be told there is no news yet and that they will elevate it again. Its nou the 15th of oktober and no one have phoned me back yet. I realy tried to explain to the people at customer service that i could not afford that amount to be deducted out ofy acount. But it seems that multi choice do not care about things like that...
incorrect billing
On the [protected]:57:14 PM I paid R400 my viewing subscription then seconds later the money I paid was instead allocated to Contract Insurance, which normally costs R20 a month, but only this time around multichoice decided they'll charge R420 only for contract insurance.
I spoke to 3 consultants who all told me that it's a 12 month payment for Insurance.
I don't need to pay insurance in advance so I requested for the amount to be allocated for my viewing subscription.
Today [protected]) this has not been done and my Subscription is suspended due to non-payment and re-connection fees will be charged as well. Multichoice please allocate the money properly.
I cannot pay any other amounts before they fix my problem.

payments not received, disconecting of service.
My problem started by purchasing my explore.
The exosphere were purchased in the month of August 2017.
August 17 the service were disconnected 3x.I Went to the Linwood branch.After many explanations multichoice claimed that there were payments short.I Have submitted bank statements(by the way it cost me money to request.)and my services were reinstated.The very next month the same old [censor].Again statements were submitted.Twice my viewing were suspended..Then I got gatvol and went to Randburg branch.After I was treated like an criminal...pay your dstv and it wount be suspended attitude.After an moerse fight my service were re-instated.
What happens on 14th of October 2017 my FFFF viewing were suspended again. Send my proof of payment to [protected]@dstv.com on the 12th But still my service were suspended.
This is just an sign of monopoly arrogance and don't feel a [censor] for there customers.Suppose this complaint will be ignored as well as.
catch up - sport
The Sports Catch - up service is non existant. With all the sport taking place at the moment the catch up is pathetic.
It doesnt even make one page. You a show a few unknown events and ignore the World Cup Qualifiers, the F! paractice, qualifying and the main race. You ignore La Liga, The China Tennis, there is no MOTO GT, etc etc, There should be fresh sport every day, no FAF du Plessis,
Whoever compiles this service should be moved somewhere else.
extra view
I'm fedup, every time we experiance a powerdip then I must phone the control center to fix my Exstra view signal @ it will show "waiting for communication from primary decoder"
I'm paying a lot of money every month for DSTV. Now my cell phone bill is almost the same than my DSTV rental, becuase it takes a long time for the control centreto pick up the phone.
If you can not fix this problem right now then I will be forced to stop using DSTV and get evidence from my cell phone provider and put this in huisgenoot and the newspaper. This is unfair for anyone to pay for a service like this.I also believe that there are more people with the some problem and that all of them must start standing together and put a stop to bad service.

I was called by a credit consultant in July stating that my account is in arrears by R362, I havnt had DSTV services since halfway through March as i have not paid for my premium subscription, my understanding is that I will pay the reconnection fee when I need the service again, I called dstv in justly to ask how they billed me and what was it for, I was told my account has been cleared, I no longer owe money, than last week I got a call where I was again I was told I owe R362, I again called dstv and asked the same ques I asked in July and told them about the call i made in July, a recording was played and in deed it could be heard the consultant telling me I don't owe anymore, the current consultant than told me he will call me before 8pm that day and that I must check my balance on a certain number, I just checked my balance and now it's R1330, which I find very unacceptable, my credit rating is effected badly by this

I have been contacting Multichoice for the 3rd time, the last time was last night (09/10/2017). I have had a conversation about my issue to 3 consultants but still my problem is not resolved. Last night I used up all my airtime and the consultant never bothered to call back or send a message.
I have not been able to view other channels like Chanel 161 as it is my favorite channel and the others. I called and advised them of my issue and they told me to check my connection but couldn't understand why because 163 plays well. I checked my connection and then it took me a whole week to reconnect. I called again and explained the very same issue and the guy who tried to assist me gave me some prompts and still not resolved. I went to Bloemfontein for the weekend and when I came back i found the very same problem. Other channels are playing but still 161 is not available as when i click on it the message reads that my account is in arrears but i paid Multichoice (Debit Order) on the 26/09/2017.
The last consultant i spoke to was Nthabiseng, i called at about 08h26pm (not too sure how long was the call) she tried to assist me but still nothing happened and while I was on the line with her my airtime cut us off. I was waiting on a call from her to check if I am winning with my situation or not but nothing happened. I would like to find out how is my issue is closed resolved if I was in contact with 3 consultants but not assisted? I am not the one to complain a lot but really I am not HAPPY at the moment with Multichoice as I have not been able to watch my favourite shows for almost a month.
I need assistance urgently as I am not going to waste my airtime to call multichoice again without getting any help.

accredited dstv installers
I found an accredited DSTV installer company on the internet, the guy (company owner) I phoned is Walter. I asked for his service he quickly rendered, but now there wasn't proper installation, I realised this a week after. I phoned him to come and fix the problem but he failed to avail himself. So now how do you guys intervene since well this guy was accredited by you? I even sent him a video of how bad the signal is but that didn't help either. Does this mean I'll have to hire someone and pay AGAIN? All that R750 went down the drain for nothing?
overcharge and unauthorized debit
I am highly disgusted in the unauthorized debit order which was taken off my bank account. I personally went to your head office and sat with Metsing Selema for four hours to rectify my account and made a payment with him at your head office. He assured me that all is up to date and on the 25-09-2017 the payments would go back to normal at R949.00 for my DPP account. Now on the 27-09-2017 they ran an unauthorized debit order for over R2700. Where and how is the possible. Hence all the calls I have made to Metsing and emails he does not respond. I am disgusted in the service from Management and accounts departments. I see that they just don’t care and don’t worry and employ complete and utter imbeciles who have no idea on how to do the job that they have been appointed to do. I will truly tell everyone I know around the globe of how useless and rubbish DSTV - Multichoice is!
pay pay pay - dstv motto
Removed ExtraView (part of service). As I pay R85 per month additional for ExtraView (DSTV email and transaction history) I thought my monthly fee will reduce.
Ask for confirmation of the lower fee. Not a chance - DSTV phoned me saying our motto is Pay Pay Pay, and no matter what reduction you make to your service, you WILL keep on paying the original higher amount!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
upgrading to premium
Three weeks ago my husband down graded our dstv to compact and now since Monday I have been trying to upgrade us back to premium and dstv is not able to do it for some reason, they are using our contract that expired and we canceled months ago as the excuse that doesnt make sense as there was no issue down grading us three weeks ago but now you cant upgrade us again, I phoned in Monday and every single day after that and twice today as we would like our premium to be activated before the weekend but no joy.
We are not happy and is now even more motivated to cancel dstv in total and move over to live streaming like most people are doing now.

incorrect billing, pathetic service and disconnection
Attempted to connect in Jan 2016 and was unsuccessful as there was no satellite dish for that particular unit. Connected in November 2016 in another apartment and multichoice claims I owe them for connecting in Jan 2016. They claim that they sent signal to the unit and I need to prove to them that I was not connected for the period they claim I was.

2. Had to physically make a call (4/10/17) to 3605666 to get reconnected only to find that not all services that I had paid for have been restored. Had to call again (05/10/17)( at my expense) only to get help after calling for the fifth time.
