Meijer review: Elf on a shelf cereal

I wanted to purchase three boxes of General Mills, Elf on a Shelf Cereal. Waited for 20 min in a long long line. The cashier asked me if I wouldn't mind bagging the groceries while he rang them up (I'm 71 yrs old). I didn't mind bagging but when he scanned one box of cereal it wouldn't scan. He said he had to call the manager - I said fine because I really needed the cereal for my grandchildren. The manager told me I couldn't buy the cereal because it was not processed in the system? I told her this came from a huge pallet of Elf cereal located in the middle of the isle? Why would the store place all this cereal on the floor if it was not available to purchase? She said sorry, I couldn't have it. This is totally unacceptable. I have been a long time Meijers shopper. I told her I would be contacting head quarters - she shrugged her shoulders as if to say, go ahead, who cares. By the way, I bagged over $200.00 worth of groceries I've tried to contact you by phone - the phones constantly busy?
