I visited the McDonalds in Fountain Inn, SC yesterday. The first item I ordered was a Childs Happy Meal Hamburger. When asked about a drink I said no drink. I was told they couldn't sell me the Happy Meal if I didn't take a drink. I asked for water. They said that wasn't an option, I had to select a real drink. I told them fine, give me a coke and I will throw it in the trash.

The second item on my order was a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese sandwich. I was told I could not order that without the drink and fries. I have always been able to order just a sandwich in the past. They gave me a sandwich and fries. They did not give me a receipt so I could not tell exactly what they charged me, but the total of the transaction on my card was $11.63 used at McDonald's F37273 in Fountain Inn USA.

Desired outcome: Just educate the staff.
