McDonald's bad service

regarding my coffee i get every day, as i'm a diabetic i ask for splenda sweeteners not sugar your staff are blatantly lieing say they have put the sweeteners in only to get down the road to find they have put sugar instead of sweeteners or nothing at all after telling me yes we put them in for you, on coffee alone i spend $28.00 a wk
I have brought this to both managers attention on several occasions with no result as this relates to poor management or lack customer care you need to resolve this as i should not have to carry my own sweeteners or toss coffee out because they put sugar in after telling time and time again they've put sweeteners in

McDonald's double charged on debit card purcase

I was double charged on my debit card by the manager of the Casa View Shopping Center McDonald's in Dallas that I USED TO buy breakfast from several times per week. The amount of the overcharge was 8.53. Unfortunately, I didn't save my receipt. I still appealed
to McD's website to compalin about it . They told me, "no receipt, no refund." They would not even consider looking at my bank statement that showed the double billing, and also the factual evidence that I USED TO buy breakfast there several times per week. Based on other complaints I've read about McD's that are similar to mine with regards to double billing credit/debit card transactions, I believe that they are INTENTIONALLY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! Think about it, - how often do you save your fast food receipts in an effort to make sure you're not double billed? I won't go back, but McDonalds doesn't give a sh** anyway, so I guess I'll have to go about getting my $8.53 like this . Robert in Dallas

McDonald's customer service

McDonald’s at 1100 Fillmore St San Francisco CA [protected]
On Saturday, November 12, 2011 afternoon, I have ordered sandwiches and ice water at McDonald’s. The lady who is big dark skin wearing glasses gave me my order but when I asked about my water, she did not care to get it and told me to wait. About three minutes later when the cashier who took my order asks her to get the water for me, she did not get it and said to wait. I had been standing there for three minutes while she ignores me and my food got cold. The cashier then left the register to go get the water for me. She had no concern for the customer and even worst she was not even a team player as she was also asked by her team member (cashier) to also wait when he requested for my water. I do not recall ever having such a bad experience with McDonald’s in my past 30+ years. The only good experience is the cashier is more for the customer while the lady did not care for anybody even for her own team mates.

I was waiting and the cashier saw that I was still waiting and he asked her to get the water for me and She did not care even when the cashier asked.

McDonald's rude cashier in italy

Me and my wife is in Rome for a vacation we went to McDonalds. The guy on the counter was Italian and i asked him about a new burger promotion. He told me "no English only Italian" i asked him is there any one else who speaks English he said "no"
And now is is becoming very rude each time I order something he shout "STOP?!" meaning (did you finish?) then talking in Italian as if he is calling us names.
I asked for the manager - I found all the other cashiers speaks English - but the manager don't speak English! I told her, and she said one world "sorry" and went away. And all the guys at the counter started playing and laughing to show me that they don't care.

You're in Italy and you go to a McDonalds? Are you ignorant? I'd understand if maybe you were in the airport or something, but if you're actually in Rome and you go to a McDonalds and expect someone to speak English, then you are the one at fault. When people come to the United States we expect them to speak our language. How can we not expect the same treatment when we travel abroad? When I lived in Argentina, I went to a McDonalds after class for a quick lunch and I ordered completely in Spanish and they didn't think anything of it. Quit being a baby and go and eat at some cafe in Italy. That's what they're there for. You know, real Italian food. In Italy. Where you are.

McDonald's amount charged

The normal cost of a large coffee and a muffin is $1.98. at this McDonald's, others are $1.95. You offer a small coffee special, which is free, and my large coffee at this McDonald's is now $2.06, the first time I was there was $1.75 (with special free small coffee). I asked why I paid $1.75 on Monday and Tuesday it is now $2.06 and I asked why I had to pay more for my coffee and muffin when there is a special, then normally. I was told it was there system, and too bad. I told them I would not pay more than the original price because they could not figure out how to work their system. They took the $1.98 that time, but it was a 10 minute argument with the manager in the drive through. The next day it was $2.06 again which I paid because the stupid manager did not try to find out why. Yesterday I went to McDonald's in Caledonia, 1 large coffee, 1 small coffee and 1 muffin $1.95. Why the difference?

The Employees don't set the prices, the company does...and different stores charge different amounts...if you've ever been to a grocery store you would know that...some are more some are less

McDonald's rude

My 7 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son entered from the West entrance to buy a frappe (to go) for each of them. They like the flavor and were excited to play the Monopoly game. I ordered a double cheese burger for me as I would probably be finishing off at least one of the beverages.
As we were exiting the airlock doors I noticed the cups did not have game pieces on them.
We returned to the counter (without ever actually stepping outside) to request our game pieces.
I said "We didn't get any Monopoly game tickets". The only response to my comment was, "Do you want to talk to the manager?". With that as his response I said "I sure do".
There was some loud verbal exchange coming from the back as whomever he went to inform did not seem to want to be bothered. The young man, though not well-trained as to how to respond to my initial request did insist that someone came with him to the counter.
I was confronted by an angry, dark-blondish woman in a light blue T-shirt who interrupted me as I tried to explain the situation. When I stopped her and told her to let me finish my explanation she was livid. It was more important to her that SHE be in control.
She smiled as she told me that she had no more game pieces on the cups. I asked her to give me some from another package if necessary, since we bought them especially for the game and they are supposed to be on the frappe cups.
I then asked for a refund. Which she refused, saying "They are already drinking them".
When asked for a number to inform upper management of the problem she laughed and said "Go ahead" but would not give me the number.

actually, they dont do game pieces on the cups anymore. the main reason for that is probably the dollar deal they have going for large drinks. people would be buying multiple drinks for a dollar for game pieces. they do the game pieces on the sandwhiches, such as big mac's and on the fries.

McDonald's manager touching and hugging young employees

I Went to an Central Islip Macdonalds drive thru and ordered some food. When I drove up to the window I was surprised to see a tall manager with a tie, touching and hugging the girl employees.These girls could've been my own daughters. If only the parents knew about this touching in the back kitchen room. Most of them probably wouldn't say anything for fear of losing their jobs.the girl that served me at the window looked like she was 16 years old. Even with the girls permission, its against the law. Something Should be done.

McDonald's exploited and abused at workplace

I work overnites at footscray mdonalds. I always finish my work on time unless its not busy. This was a busy night and even a busy morning. It was 7am and my store manger came and asked me why havnt the work been finished? I told him it was really busy but he said i dont care about it, u have to finish ur work before 7. I stayed half an hour longer and finished my work. Then he tld me u have to stay back for 1 hour bcoz the next crew is coming late, i said i have to go to other work but he denied. I was tired and exhausted from working whole night and suddenly its get really busy and i asked for help in the kitchen but he denied and said u have to do it yourself. I was out of products and there was wait on burgers. I told the front crew there will be 1 min wait on burgers, My manager came in the kitchen and he started abusing me and exploiting me in front of other employees and the customers. He sweared at me loudly in his own language other than english. He sweared at my mom and sisters and threatened me of firing me from the job. I didnt say a word to him just keep on working, coz i thought if he fired me from work i will be unemployed but i am writing bcoz im emotionally hurt. I dont who should i talk to, what should i do? I think i lose my self respect and i wont be able to work there again.

@Slayergal I was actually predominately a cashier. I was never a manager at mcDonaldsI am in Australia, and we have a union that gives us regular payrises.

I am sick to death of poorly written complaints!

@SlayerGal workers at McDonalds are not paid as badly as what you would think, albeit not brilliantly. I was getting $22 an hour when I quit (I got a teaching job).

You do know employees are paid minimum wage right?

Wrong orders rarely happen to me. And if they do, I've always caught them /before/ I've driven off. It's really not difficult to look into the bag before taking off.

Perhaps you just need to visit a different location.

McDonald's icecream

Every school holidays the McDonalds Family Restaurant at Batemans Bay have some problem keeping customers happy. On Tuesday, 4 October at 12:20pm my family and I went to the restaurant to purchase some icecream sundaes only to be told, after lining up forever, that the "machine was closed for 2 hours due to maintenance"! there was no announcement made whilst the line (back to the door) was slowly creeping toward getting served. I think this is very poor service especially given it was a lunch hour AND in school holidays. Last school holidays we were there (January 2011) we waited 20minutes to be served and another 25minutes wait for our meal. We had visitors with us who were VERY unimpressed. I am starting to lose respect for our local restaurant and am not keen to return there given that I'll most like experience a third disaster.

McDonald's partys no toys for kids

my son had his birthday party at warnbro store on sunday 21st of august we turned a blind eye to all food still on floor but then more pronlems arose food was 45 min late and kids sat waiting for it they were only ment to have set maels but the girl let them pick anything so they were geting frozen cokes etc they never got there toys for there meals which was for 13 kids so would be around 26 owed then girl said will do games after cake now as food ran late i said thats okay and then children were eating there cake and she asked me to pay i went and payed no recipt offerd girl just took money then said there is no time to do games now and just walked off i would of asked for a discount of something if i knew they were not going to do games etc then left up to me to tell all parents and children i mad a complaint that day in person but manager not on now have called 4 times spoken to 3 diff staff last time spoike to steph who i got told was the manager but app was just taking over for manager while they were away i am sick off calling there warnbro store and getting no ansewer hope this matter can be resolved my details are lisa smith [protected]@live.com.au [protected]

They had Fox News on the tv. I find this reublican propaganda channel objectionable. I told them so and asked them to change the channel but they refused and said it could only be changed from the main office. What a lie!

Get over it. I think that they MAY HAVE been lying. When I worked at McDonalds, we could change the channel when we wanted. However, if a customer came to us with a request like yours, which I find ludicrous, we would probably do the same thing. We would change the channel for some reason; like if UFC was on or there was literally and obviously offensive material on.

McDonald's payroll check stubs

I work for a McDonald's and we receive our pay as direct deposit or a paycard. We receive no paycheck information (check stubs).
Supposedly they will print one out for you on request, but even after repeated requests they continue to avoid providing them. I need them for my husband's social security disability claim but management still will not get them for me.
Unfortunately, when I contacted my state labor board I was informed that in my state there is no law that they have to provide pay information.
Therefore, I have no idea what I pay for taxes, or if I am ever paid for the correct amount of hours worked.

I cannot believe that McDonald's has either decided to remove orange pop from their menu or allowed Coca Cola to decide to remove it! I refuse to make them a restaurant choice for my family anymore. Hope many more do the same!

I ordered some food from there for me and my kids and the employee named nikki was very rude to me. She had an attitude, eyes looked like she was on some drugs, and she threw my food and change to me. I really don't appreciate this service. I am a regular customer and should be treated with respect. I will no longer eat there until i feel comfortable with some better service!

While eating my Asian salad at 3:30p.m.at the Woodbury location next to Woodwinds Hospital, I looked to my left and noticed all these dead flies and other crawly things on the windowsill also a live ant. Not to mention the dust and filth on the front window! Gross.

Used the drive thru at a 24 hour McDonald's at approx. 4:30am to purchase 3 breakfast sandwiches and was refused service because the cook doesn't start till 5am. Again, it was a 24 hr. store.

AN HISPANIC MANEGER THAT NEVER SMILES AND APPEAR TO ALWAYS BE ANGRY, WHY? McDonald's loud and dirty neighbours

McDonalds on Concorde sucks, we asked them over a thousand times to put a proper fence made of stones or wood but they are too cheap and they've put a plastic see through one so we hear the stupid guys coming from the Fuzzy and waking everybody up at 3 in the morning because of their stupid 24h service. Oh and all their wrappings end up on our lands because they don't clean up and it flies under their cheap fence. I hate them and I hope they go bankrupt.

McDonald's unhygienic & slow customer service

I went to Yarrawonga McDonalds with my dad for lunch & we were disgusted in the state of the store, the employees their were unbelievably slow, I waited in line after I had order for over 20mins I was the only person who was ordering at the time while I was waiting for my meal, I slowly started to notice how disgusting it really was the cups hadnt been restocked behind the counter the straws & napkins on the bench were all empty, the bench was greasy & hadn't been cleaned the bins hadn't been emptied & were over flowing with rubbish, the tables had dishes/rubbish sitting on them although there wasn't any one there, the tables were all unbelievably dirty & full of grease, the floor was full of rubbish & had spills& grease everywhere..

McDonald's putting all of product in cup

all the picture i see of frappes are great, the cup is full.i cant get that service at the rural retreat, va. mcdonalds.they have the product, but wont put it in the cup.they would rather wash it down the drain, and fill the cup up the rest of the way with whip cream .that is not right. make it look like the pictures. stop wasting the product. this mcds is the worst, the only time i get a full cup is if i as for it, and that makes them mad.i love the frappes and they cost so much. so please make them right, theres no sence in wasting, give me my moneys worth.

I have the same problem at my McDonald, and when I complain they claim, despite the advertised mocha frappe pictures showing otherwise, that the portion is supposed to be to the heavy brown line on the side of the cup. Sorry, but this makes a 22oz drink actually 16oz, and that isn't worth it. If I wanted 1/3 cup of whipped cream, I wouldn't be ordering a coffee. Mcdonalds is ripping people off. Starbucks may cost about a buck more per cup, but at least you get what you pay for...the glass is full of coffee, not whipped cream. To the above OnlineConsumer, the problem in this case isnt the machine. I called and MC'd corp confirmed that the cup is supposed to be filled to the brown line, not the top of the glass. Bottom line - false advertisment by Mc'ds and pure greeed!

This is because their automatic machine must be recalibrated frequently. However, management is overworked and underpaid so they really do not care to fix it daily. you are right in making sure they give you a full cup, otherwise you may get shorted every time. I understand you like the frappes but my suggestion is to not go to McDonalds and find a place that cares about its employees and customers equally. Then employees would take more pride in what they are serving their customer not because they are afraid to get yelled at, but because they genuinely love their job. McDonalds cares too much for its owner/operators and their profits to care about anyone else.

my mother picked up food for my daughter and me. while i was eating i found a 2 inch piece of paper in my mcdouble. i was so disgusted that i became physical ill.

Got you beat- my fiance found a tooth... bit into it and everything. No, it wasnt his tooth. I hope I still have the pics. It was in his apple pie! A few other people around here told us they found objects in their food too. Gross.

McDonald's food quality

I went there around midnight last Saturday Aug 6, 2011. I was a little hungry so I stood in line and ordered a 1/4 lb with cheese. After I about 20mins I got my order left the store and wanted to eat while waiting for the bus. What I got was disgusting! It looked more like just a regular burger with hardly anything on it. The bun was dry and crunchy, not the toasted kind of crunchy but, the stale kind of crunch. The burger (1/8 th pounder) was tasteless. Either this item was sitting under a heat lamp for 6hrs or the managed to wrestled it away from a homeless man that found it in the dumpster. I will NEVER go there again. Valuable lesson here...don't pay for something without seeing what you're buying.

I bought an egg and bacon breakfast wrap Thursday morning 20th Novemer. To begin with there were crunchy bits in it (i thought were just egg shell), then when i pulled a long dark hair out of it, i thought i better unwrap the wrap. I then also found that the egg had what looked to me like lots of grease on it. It wasn't like charcoal burn, it wasn't crisp to touch. I had my digital camera with me so i have clear pictures of it if you want me to email.
I have never complained like this before but it seems every time i go to that McDonalds store, the quality is getting worse and this was just too much!

the double cheeseburgers were cold and the fries had been under the heat lamp much too long... these fries were so dry i almost chocked trying to swallow it! They get away with this practise because they are the only place open at this hour of night

I used to work there a lot time ago. A lot of people there are just don't care about the product they happened to be creating. They hate their job and as consequence hate you, a costumer. So, any special request is treated as an insult to them. Maybe I am hard on a McD employee, but, unfortunately, this is true about a lot of them.

Of course, not all employees are like that, a lot of them are nice, but, only a few of them can actually make good (as advertised) burgers.

After all, people should avoid McD as often as possible. In perfect life, consumers should eliminate all fast food diet from their busy lives.

I was at a restruant in Lab city labrador on March the [protected]..I could not believed what I saw..The cook in the kitchen in the kithen to a frozen burger from the freezer .He put it on the grill...then turned around o the pe counter whipped his forehead, then reached up to get the wrapping paper to do a order...He did all this with out cleannind his hands...i thought oh my god, does this young man realize what he just did..X-CONTAiMATION was only a joke...I went to the floor supervisior and tolk her what i just saw...she went down to tell him to was his hands...she walk back to the front of the store, then the young cook looked at me a yelled out these woords I conn't believe what he said.(WE DON'T HAVE RULE LIKE THAT HERE)I was blown away..I again told the supervisior what he said, she just shooked her head...I manage a restruant and that is not one of our rules...
for one the supervisior should have made him go wash is hands.secondly she should have made him dump all the orders that were on the counter because none of it was any good to eat.. thirdly went he yelled out those words he should have been sent home...
I was eating your food the whole time I was in this town, until I seen that ..It really turned me from eating there again..and trust me I loved your food...

McDonald's fraud

While travelling past London at approx 7:00a.m. We decided to stop at this McDonalds for breakfast. The parking area was empty. 2 cars at drive though ahead of us. 17 minutes later we get to food window. 11 minutes at window and food arrives. Order 2 sausage Mcmuffins and 1 large diet coke. Girl at window apologises but sounds as sincere as a robot. I question the delay and am told it is a new kid cooking and he is useless. My response is what has this got to do with me? Not my problem. I take my food and park my car. The diet coke is 75% ice and like drinking brown water.I eat my first Mcmuffin and it is barely warm. I take out my second and it is a biscuit not a Mcmuffin and cold at that. 9 minutes waiting with1 car in front I get to food window again. Woman at window rolls her eyes like I am the problem. I explain and return Biscuit. 7 minutes later I get a new Sausage Mcmuffin. If it was just made why is it cold I ask. No answer from woman at window. I go eat my Mcmuffin cold and all. I continue to my destination. The next day We are going by again a decide to test them out again. A little less wait. I get my food but get re-quoted a higher amount by $3.00+. When questioned why it is higher I get no explanation. I pay my bill and go to eat in parking area. Uon opening my bag I find that this was not my meal but meal from other order lane. I return to order lane and explain. I am told I am wrong and that is what I ordered! I told her I knew what I ordered and I wanted what I ordered and the difference from what I paid. 13 minutes later3 ladies with calculators still could not figure how much they owed me. I will never go there again I have been shocked, insulted, called a liar, overcharged and under served. Needless to say robbed of over an hour of my time all because I wanted some food.

McDonald's filthy, overcharged

My family and I go to Mcdonalds at least once a week and the last 2 we went to were filthy garbage on the floor fly's everywhere we had to fight fly's off so that we can eat and when we made a complaint to management they a shift supervisor call us back and tell well I'm sorry but all we can do is give you a free meal and all we can do is also put light up that attract the fly's to it My wife suggested you put big fans outside your doors to break down the amount of fly's that are in your restuarant if anyone lives in the Fresno area stay away from the Mcdonalds off of Ashlan/West LOTS OF FLY"S giving me a free meal I don't want it from that place and the same for the Mcdonalds off of NEES/WILLOW LOTS OF FLY"S INSIDE AND when you order A COMBO MEAL AND ASK FOR A LARGE DRINK ISTEAD OF THE REG. DRINK THEY CHARGE YOU A $1.00 ON TOP OF YOUR MEAL COST it comes out cheaper either to go to another restuarant or buy everything seperrate. I wish I had my video camera at the time because I would send that to everyone I know please FIX the problem or my family and I will find another fast food place IT"S A SHAME I GREW UP ON MCDONALDS AND MY KIDS LOVE THE PLACE BUT IT"S EITHER MCDONALDS OR MY FAMILIES HEALTH .
