Lowe's 2 Outside and 2 inside doors. Front and back doors.

We ordered these doors in May. We like our sales person very much. But we are going on the 6th month and I have been paying since we ordered. We were told that it might be 6 to 8 weeks. So we were trying to be patient but it is very frustrating. We moved in the beginning of the year. We have had to replace a lot of things. 6 months is pretty ridiculous. I would think Lowes would stop using this company. They are blaming it on Covid. I would love to see these doors here and installed in the next week. Is that possible?

Lowe's Window Installs

Hi,

I assisted my mother in ordering windows in January 2021. The windows were installed in March. The salesman Korey Holland quoted the windows as shown below:

Below is the estimate for windows at 3253 Hummingbird Dr
RB by Atrium 3201 series, white vinyl
Ultra LowE argon gas, no grids, half screens
13- double hungs 3 fixed units
Total of 16 windows
Wrapping of exterior with aluminum coil white
Caulk and seal around windows
Complete final cleanup and haul away old windows/ debris related to job

However, there were 17 windows instead of 16. After contacting the store every since July, Korey has quoted the missed window in the laundry room at 628.00. I feel that this price is ridiculous, especially since the mistake was on the salesman's end. I asked Korey to ask a manager if he could discount the price and store management keeps sending me back to Korey.

I've spoken with customer service which has sent me to installation several times, and then installation sends me back to the store. I would appreciate if this matter can be resolved as soon as possible. Also, there was a tear in one of the screens on a den window (13 double hung).

Lowe's Brand new water heater, does not work!

Purchased a water heater from Lowe's. Put water heater in and 2 days later no hot water, someone came out and checked the water heater and the element is out how is that I only used the heater maybe twice don't understand when you buy something brand new and it is broken why is that, did it come from China, sure not the AMERICAN way very upset now as I sit here having to wait for a plumber to call me back and set up an appointment to come bring new parts to put in the new water heater. Not a happy person!

Lowe's refrigerator non delivery

On 9/8 I purchased and paid via debit, a refrigerator $2600 and was told delivery 9/11. On 9/11 NO show NO Calls NO excuses. They rescheduled without asking me and then repeated this 5 more times. Now they say it was delivered yesterday 9/26. PURE BS nothing delivered! Store personnel up to CEO Ellison don't care and don't reply. Worst experience I have ever had in my 68 years.

Desired outcome: I need my refrigerator and they should pay me for all the meals I had to eat out because of their lies

Lowe's A refrigerator that I haven’t received, this is the 3rd day

A refrigerator that I haven't received, this is the 3rd day. Each delivery was not made to my home with the excuse they could not find me. And the manager at South Lowes store In Clarksville, Tn by the name Of David Hollyman I believe was inexcusable with his attitude toward my friend and myself. He needs to be retrained or he will chase off your customers. Each delivery was not made to my home with the excuse they could not find me.
They said they would deliver tomorrow Sunday 26th of Sept.but they haven't called to set it up as yet. I will cancel the order and buy from another place if they do not keep their promise of delivering.
Another manager by the name of Joe Hunter was a big help and did what he could to be professional with his Job at Lowes.

Lowe's Refrigerator Extended Warranty

My refrigerator stopped cooling after less than two years. It was purchased on 11/108/19 and stopped cooling on 9/22/21. Lowes arranged for a service company to check it out and they are supposed to have ordered parts, however, the refrigerator has made a louder than normal noise since the beginning when the compressor would kick on. I brought all of this to Lowes attention and was was treated rudely by Crystal (no employee id number) and then Rhonda, employee #1525777. I have no idea if the names and number are truthful and wouldn't be surprised if they were all made up. As it stands now, and with full acknowledgement by Lowes Service personnel, I am without a refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Suffice to say that I am very dissatisfied with Lowes Service. I would never purchase another appliance from Lowes and, if I did I would absolutely not purchase the extended warranty. The money that might have been saved by the extended service pales in comparison to the aggravation suffered by Lowes.
I will shop at their competitor, Home Depot, from now on. I am a Contractor in South Florida and save 5% by shopping at Lowes but that savings is not worth what I am going through at present.

Desired outcome: A new refrigerator that will work consistently.

Lowe's Door installation

I have been waiting for someone too install a glass entry door in my home. Installation department is giving me the run around about the door, and the measurements! now its been a entire month, and they have finally reached the conclusion that they will not beable to even install the door! they suck on all levels horrible service! never ever again will i patronize this company!

Lowe's Labor charger for install of generator

Bought Generac Generator from Lowes in Vernon Hills. Had 3 other estimates and all were within $50 of each other in price of unit and labor. Lowes came out and they were between $600 and $800 more for labor than the other authorized Generac dealers for labor. They already knew I bought the Generator from Lowes and that could be the reason for the extreme costs of labor. Why would anyone pay $800 more to Lowes for labor when you can get an authorized Generac dealer for a lot less. People need to look around the price for labor at Lowes is way out of line. And no one at Lowes cares. To big to care. I am going elsewhere for the install. No one gets back to you when you complain.

I have just experienced the WORST customer
Service ever!

Hours of my limited time trying to resolve a simple delivery - they cannot get things straight - hours on hold on the phone - hours waiting for items that never arrived - terrible customer service cannot get help - no supervisor to speak to to - horrible horrible will never ever shop with them again -!

Lowe's Carpeting and appliances

My name is Mary Shults. I manage 4 Apartment complexes in Mt Pleasant, TX. Usually our 2 accounts average $6000.00 per month. We are always needing appliances, carpeting and flooring. My maint staff have little time to wait for hours on Lowe's to get our orders ready. We call ahead and still, due to Unlearned Lowe's staff, must WAIT AND WAIT. Just when you have a team member trained well enough to help in the two areas listed above...you switch them to another department, then the "duh, I don't know how to do that" or " I'll call you back when I can find out how to do that" starts. It really gets OLD fast! We have been with lowe's since they opened here in our town. Our accounts are Northidge Apartments and Huntington Ridge Condos, Mt Pleasant, TX.

Lowe's GE top Load Washer Model GTW335ASN1WW Serial FR177968G

Hello LOWES Complaint Department,

I have been a very satisfied LOWES customer for many years.
My purchase date for the washing machine at issue was 4/25/2020 (Reciept transaction # [protected]-128836 GE TL WASH GTW335ASNWW $468.00, plus 3 Year Extended Warranty #895147 $86.97).
The washer has worked well with normal use until September 3 when it stopped spinning the clothes, leaving them soaking wet in the basin.
I contacted Lowes on 9/3/21 and was referred to the 888-77-LOWES number to schedule a repair. I was given a repair date of Tuesday 9/7 between 8 and 12:00 by the LOWES associate over the phone.
This appointment never happened. I called the Axis Appliance repair number I was provided by LOWES and was informed there was no appointment.
I rescheduled for the earliest Axis appoint available, which was Thursday, 9/9. At nearly 2 hours late, a service person arrived. He was very rude, had a bad attitude, spoke broken English and fluent Russian. He spent approximately 20 minutes working on the washer and failed to repair my washer, saying "it could not be repaired and it was not worth replacing any parts." He refused to provide me with any more information, other than to say "the motor was defective." I asked if we had done something to cause the issue and he replied "No". He refused to provide anything in writing regarding the irreparable issue, and left, saying :not his problem, he is just a contractor and that I needed to call my insurance".
He also cut himself and left blood on the frond of the washer.
I again called Axis appliance repair at the [protected] number I had been provided by LOWES to ask what I was supposed to do now that my washer motor was defective and irreparable. I was put off by Axis, given the "run around", telling me they would contact me the following week after speaking with the technician manager because they needed to send another repair person out to assess the washer, but had no available dates.
Today is Monday, 9/13. With no call back from Axis still, I called and left a request for a call back asap this morning. I just received a call back from Axis, informing me that a second repair person would have to come assess the washer but the earliest appointment available for me was Thursday 9/23 by noon! (That is 20 days without a functioning washing machine! and I have no guarantee or confidence that it will be repaired with this next appointment!) I am extremely frustrated with Axis Appliance Repair, and am further frustrated with the inability to speak to ANYONE at LOWES who is able to address my issue with any measure of competence! I paid the extra money to extend the warranty and in return for my purchase, I have been treated as though my warranty and my inoperable washer are of no concern or value to Axis or to LOWES!
I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor, incompetent repair service I have received, and I feel that LOWES is responsible for taking my money for the warranty and failing to honor their contractual commitment in good faith!

In exasperation I had NO CHOICE but to purchase another washer, even though the existing one is only a year and a half old. Now I am out an additional $500.00! Moreover, I was certain NOT to purchase the WORTHLESS extended warranty this time. It is a unmitigated rip off!

According to the warranty, I am entitled to a $50 refund for no successful service repair within 14 days. I believe the inconvenience I have endured is much greater than the pitiful reimbursement of $50.00. I believe LOWES is obligated to replace my broken washer, or repair it promptly!

In closing, thank you for the opportunity to express my frustration! I suggest LOWES finds another appliance repair service and refrain from contracting with Axis Appliance, as they are creating more problems than they are resolving . In my experience they are 100% incompetent!

Lowe's transferred to a plumber?!

I waited for over an hour to get ahold of a customer service representative. When someone finally answered I explained my bank is showing a charge from Lowe's for $98.91 for a purchase I never made. The same charge was attempted in late July - and I was able to reach a representative who withdrew the charge. Today, however, I was told they could do nothing and then offered to transfer me to a supervisor. I was then "transferred" to a random plumbing company.

I am currently again on hold waiting for what I hope will be a better customer representative who will not lie to me.

poor customer service, had bad attitude, seems like he was having a bad day . still he should not treat people like they are bothering him . don't know why he's a manager or working where he's around customers who need advice . I've been to other stores and all your associates were very helpful . was looking for help and he seemed to just brush me off .

Lowe's Windows and Doors installation

We ordered Windows and Doors from Lowes in March. They were delayed because of the pandemic which we were rather frustrated as they would give us little information about when we would have them installed. They got the door in, in June and installed the door on July 5th. They did not follow the installation instructions provided on the permit or the instructions that came with the door. Jeldwen will not honor a warrantee unless the door is installed per these instructions. There was no sill pan which is required by the manufacturer, the screws are not long enough to meet the hurricane rating of the door, no insulation was added to the gaps at the jam, they did not seal the door at the bottom to prevent moisture and pest intrusion and the trim work has 5/8" gaps that were filled with caulking and is uneven. They even cracked the door frame when they were installing it. The door is not plumb so it will close all on its own without someone holding it open and there is a 3/16 gap at the top and flush at the bottom when the door is closed.

Initially the door was difficult to unlock from the outside, you would have to pull the door close to you and turn the key. They did send someone who fixed this issue however but the rest have been untouched.

They sent a Jeldwen rep out to my house along with a Lowes installation manager. The rep wanted to check with his team about my concerns but eventually got back with Lowes explaining the issue would not result in the door being installed correctly. Lowes said they did not get this information initially.
Three weeks after the representatives were out at my house I finally called their cooperate number and I have been speaking with Rick. He has taken over the claim though it has been four weeks since I have called them and nothing has moved forward. They are not even sure if the new door has been ordered. I have made at least one phone call a day to try and get this resolved since the middle of August.

The windows are in the store though I am concerned they will install them in a similar way ignoring the instructions for expedience.

Desired outcome: Either a complete refund or properly installed windows and doors to the manufacturers instructions and the permit

Lowe's Rebate

I have been owed over $200 in rebates since Memorial Day weekend. I have yet to receive it. I am making a movement for a class action lawsuit. You big corporations need to understand that you can't do this to us.i have spoken to customer service and corporate about this matter and still being told it will be another 6 -8 weeks.
