Lowe's Military Discount

Date: 5/26/2023. Location: 39 Hampton, NJ 07860. Trans: [protected]. Amounts spend $1993.71.

When, I present my VA Identification they immediately refused my VA discount because they have a new policy to refused VA discount for the major appliance department. After reading the new policy is not placed to identified what is considered major appliance.

I request the presence of a manager and with attituded said that not discount to a major appliance. I request to show me what is considered major appliance. and where said it in the VA discount policy. He proceeds to turn around and walk away.

I am very discomfort with this disrespect towards VA. Just a day before the Memorial Date. Thanks

Lowe's Credit card application at store/damaged during delivery

On Monday, May 22nd, my husband and I wanted to purchase a refrigerator while it was on sale and apply for the Lowes credit card while at the store. The sales associate was very nice and entered all the information for our purchase and the application. The application required that a code number be sent to my phone to be verified. I DO NOT have a cell phone and the number used for our purchase was our home phone. Sales associate said that he had never seen this before and called for a manager to override this request and proceed with the transaction. This created a problem for us because the only way we could buy our refrigerator was by using our debit card for the entire purchase (we do not have credit cards). I had to pay out $857.39 on the spot rather than being able to spread out the purchase by making payments on our "new" Lowes card. We were still given the $100.00 discount for applying for the card but that is not the point. We wanted to make payments on this major purchase because we are on fixed incomes and taking large sums of money out of our checking account could be problematic. Social Security checks could be stopped if the country's debt ceiling not raised in the next few days.

All Lowes sales associates and managers should be given a code number to enter when a customer does not have a cell phone with them when applying for the credit card in person at the store. Some people would have to forget about their purchase if they don't have a credit/debit card with them. We had no intention of pulling out a major sum of money for this but that was the only way we could get this new refrigerator. That is not fair to any customer. Not only that, we discovered damage on the unit when we were putting the shelves in place (deep scrapes down to bare metal on the freezer frame and a wrinkled dent down to bare metal on the refrigerator's other side). I have been on the phone for over 3 hours today trying to resolve this problem and get a new unit delivered ASAP. The manager at the Norwood, OH store said he would arrange delivery but when I talked to the warehouse to confirm a delivery time, they did not even have it on their schedule or know anything about it. This clerk is not even sure if they have it in stock or if will have to be a special order and is supposed to call me back. For heaven's sake, it is a plain refrigerator with no frills and should have been a simple purchase procedure and it has turned into a nightmare!

Desired outcome: Train all your managers and sales associates better and improve communication with customers. Make sure the delivery personnel check over the unit before they leave the premises so the customer is not inconvenienced.

Lowe's Flooring

I had flooring installed on 5/2/2022. The contractor your company hired did not have all the supplies to complete flooring and from my home they called customer service and they assured them that they would have material the following day. More than a week went by and my husband and I reaching out to both the contractor and Lowes and both companies blaming each other where we are stuck in the middle with a job that has not been completed. After not getting anywhere on the phone with either company we had to drive to the Arlington location to talk in person. The manager after waiting 30 minutes or more she came back with the transition pieces that she said that they are replacing. I was told she will call me back with installation date and that never happened. I called Service Pro and got the date of 5/23/22 to finish the job. The pieces are not the same flooring that we paid for. We paid good money for poor customer service.

Desired outcome: I want the flooring that I paid for and some type of inconvenience discount or gift card. This type of treatment is unacceptable.

Lowe's Extended warranty money not returned automatically when you return an item.

Purchased an umbrella on May 12, 2023 with an extended warranty. On

May 16,2023 returned the umbrella at that time.How does your computer system not know to credit the consumer for the extended warranty when it is smart enough to ask you if you want to purchase one!

I believe that Lowe's is cheating their customers of money. When you do a return it should show up in the system about the warranty (since it knows to ask) So how much money is Lowe's making from consumers not remembering when they buy a warranty. I feel it is not my job to make sure Lowe's does their job correctly.

It is also not my job to contact the warranty department.! I pay Lowe's for my purchases not the warranty department!

WHY IS IT NOT DONE AUTOMATICALLY!

Lowe's Braun series 9 wet/dry electric shaver

Someone (email of [protected]@hatrrd.com) Advertising on Facebook as Lowe's for a Series 9 Braun Electric Wet/Dry Shaver for $29.95 - FRAUD/PHONY/SCAM. I called my local Lowe's to report it to an Uninterested Employee who said she'd get a manager for me to talk to and never came back.

I'm trying to be a Good Citizen and Lowe's doesn't even care! SAD!

Lowe's Order # [protected] - delivery by Lowe's Mount Vernon

order # [protected] - ordered at Mount Vernon Lowe's. delivery on Tue 5/16

Here is how it went down:

delivery people did not speak nor understand one single word in English. instead, they communicated in front of me in Spanish, totally ignoring me and my attempt to verify that in their rush- they do not damage the machine.

During unload from truck , they handles the sensitive machine without care, almost dropping the 2 Samsung appliances on the gravel road in my driveway. The high speed drive up the road before might have already damaged the dryer (I have photo). the installers (Daniel and Garcia?) damaged almost my wall pipping (while disconnecting the cables for haul away machines), the RIGIflex Duct was installed amateurly. when i tried to slow them down and pointing our the kink on the side of dryer, I was laughed at- but communication was otherwise impossible.

I am very shocked and stunned how you can hire people who are incompetent and do not care for the complaints during set up and haul away.

Lowe's Mansfield nex tile bathtub surround order # [protected]

Ordered this in Lowes Farmingdale long island.
Picked it up: shipping box perfect! Put in my truck and took item to Dover, Vermont (4 hr. drive) where I am redoing my bathroom.
5/20 brought the panels into the house: and to my surprise the panel I needed to start with only to find out it was defective! How did this get past factory inspection, I do not know! So I repacked the tile walls, put this heavy box back into the truck (drove 4 hrs again) and today I am returning it for another of the same unit and I hope it will not be defective! The photos show it all!

Desired outcome: The item was $512.05 ----2 long trips to Vermont and unfortunately, I couldn't work on out bathroom so I lost another work weekend!!!!Can you give a heavy discount on this item to me? Please??? (time, aggravation, etc)

Lowe's Theft in all departments

I’m a long time customer and I would like to know how in the world do you stay in business the way your company allows so many people to just walk out of the store with merchandise and don’t pay for it. I am a customer that is in the store quite a bit and I see people just steal and no one does anything.

I also shop at Menard and Lowes, needs to learn their method. They are on top of you stealing out of their store. They have merchandise in a way that you can’t walk out with generators and refrigerators. It makes me sick to see that you all don’t seem to care.

Just a concern in customer because it causes me to have to pay more.

Desired outcome: do something about this theft problem even if you need advice from menards.

Lowe's Refrigerator and dishwasher delivery

Refrigerator and dishwasher delivered today without the paid for water lines and installation kit.

Refrigerator is also missing a shelf.

Stores cannot assist. Routes to delivery company. Dishwasher is unusable without the install kit. Refrigerator can not be fully set up and is missing parts

We now have a case filed with a 24 hour window for a "call back" which could lead to a service call at a later date.

Are stores no responsible for what they sell?

Response came in early - just a few minutes after the case was created. That was nice.

But, solution was either wait for another delivery or get credit for items and repurchase them ourselves.

We opted to repurchase.

I do understand that those truly are the only options, but it is still costing us time and inconvenience.

We were told when the case was filed, we could ask for a dispensation (monetary credit or discount code) once everything was resolved. They can only do this once so to be sure it's resolved.

Why isn't this automatic? Why do I have to know to ask for a dispensation?

Lowe's Windows - ordered by lowe's window department for new home

We are building a custom home, - in northern Florida - it was held up during Covid. We were able to purchase - in 2020 during Covid - windows and doors of over $30,000 from the Lowe's in Alachua, Florida. We sat down with their window and door desk, and he worked hand-in-hand with our architect to come up with the order for the doors and windows. In the spring of 2022, it was discovered that there were 11 extra windows ordered. I gave the receipts in the course of over three meetings (many hours in person at the store) at the Lowe's store in Alachua. Last month, I actually bought five additional windows (of the 11 extra) at that time because they were the wrong size - from the Lowe's store in Alachua. They were delivered today. At all times in my discussions, it was understood and agreed to by the Lowe's employees I worked with at the store over the course of several meetings, that when these new windows will be delivered Lowe's will pick up the originals which are still at the location in the garage and while no refund was requested, they would be used as a store credit towards future items in the house that we need right now such as kitchen and bath cabinetry... I was very disturbed today when I received a phone call from the Lowe's store after they delivered the five items telling me that these items will not be accepted upon return. I ordered them based on the confidence and trust that Lowes installed in me and I trusted the order that was correctly drawn up by the sales person in windows and doors. Please help me.

Desired outcome: I would like the windows to be picked up and a store credit given.
