Life Time Fitness review: locker room theft

I had my checboo stolen out of the woman's locker room back in Memorial Day of 1996 at this club. I filed a complaint with the club and the New Hope police department and immediatly closed my checking account. The theif used the checks and left them at restaurants around the Twin Cities area. I had to write many, many affadavits of forgery and explain the situation to several check collection agencies - a few of which had a sarcastic, skeptical attitude when I told them it wasn't me who wrote these checks but the locker room theif. Well, in an add turn of events - I received a strange letter in the mail in the fall of 2003. It was from the ex-husband of the woman who stole my checkbook. He had found my checkbook (which was the register and the carbon copies) in the possession of his ex-wife at her house while he was there to babysit his sons. I wrote a letter on his behalf about the thefts that he was intending to use in getting out of paying more child support now that he was a Doctor and she was apparently trying to extract more money from him. We now get to this past December of 2012. I was cleaning up some old files and ran accross a file I have kept on the thefts. On a lark, I looked up the theif's name in Facebook and found her! Not only that, I know she looked familiar and sure enough - she now works out at Lifetime Fitness in Maple Grove! I immediatly informed the management of the Lifetime Fitness in Maple Grove that they have a known thief in their membership roles. If you are going to work out there and use the women's locker rooms there - I advise that you not put any valueables in your locker!
