LG Electronics worst customer service - lg split ac

Hi
I hav bought a 1.6ton split AC. And its sensor/display is not working. I had registered a complaint 3 months back and for every folloow up i make, i get the response that " it wil be done tomorrow". Purchase was done in march and the product didnt work properly not even for 3 months.

Worst part of it here is that, LG has got an the worst service centre (thane maharastra) and nothing is happening there.

I need this to be fixed asap. I will see to it that none of my friends buy a LG product if this request takes some more days...and I will go to consumer forum .

I had been gifted on room split ac, which is giving problem every month. first the complint has not been attained properly, yet if attained on my fault booked at toll free number [protected] and complaint number C1081228132 then 2 guys( one of the name was dewangan) came and misbehave at my residence with ladies in my absence.

And after talking with the head at raipur cg lg service center [protected], they told they will not going to attained the fault.

Kindly consider the case as the harashment from the company and faulty equipment provided by the company.

MY NAME IS JITHESH KUMAR, I PURCHASED 1 TON AC FROM BHARAT ELECTRICALS, MAVOOR ROAD CALICUT, IN MARCH 2010 .
NOW WITHIN THE SPAN OF THREE MONTHS, AC GETTING PROBLEM FOR THE THIRD TIME . AND NOW THE OUT DOOR UNIT OF MY AC IS IN SERVICE CENTRE AND THE INDOOR UNIT IS IN MY HOME.

I requested for servicing of LG ac which I bought in JUNE07 on 26th April2008. I was given complaint No N8c42608881 & assured that the technician would come between 9 AM and 1Pm on 27th April. Since no one contacted me or came I gave a reminder on 28th morning. Iwas tiold that as per the entry in the records somebody had contacted me even though no actually contacted me. I was told that an urgent request has been made and the techniciad would come at 4.30 Pm. No one contacted me or came . I gave another reminder at 530 Pm and was told the same thing again. It is indeed shocking that even after 96 hours there has been no response 7 no one has come. Will be grateful if the matter is investigated and a technician is sent to service the AC at the earliest.

I had asked for Service for 3 windows and 1 split AC on 12.4.08, nos. 98C21200582, 83, 84, 85. On 12.4.08, men from service center came and serviced 3 windows and 4 spilts (as per their record well the truth is they did nothing just asked questions and saw the AC) . The truth is i have only 3 windows and 1 split AC .

On 14.4.08 i complained and subsequently they came again and service 4 splits (as per record).

From 14.4.08 onwards when io switched my ACs on, they were not cooling, So again on 17.4.08, i compalined nos. N8C4170027 and then i was informed the Acs were not having gas. Technically as informed by trade pundits, AC are serviced only if they have full gas in them.

So how come my ACs were serviced without gas, thought he truth is that the service man leaked the gas to either extort money or just to harras us.
Secondly how my 3 windows and 1 split AC have become 3 windows and 4 spilts.

Pls take this issue seriously and revert back immediately on my no. +[protected].

I have registered to service my 2ton AC (which is under AMC) on 4th June (C [protected]). But till today(8th) nobody attended neither contacted me despite several reminder. v.v.v poor service.

LG Electronics lg front load washer always of balance

Purchased a front load washer from a store called RC Wiley june 1st washer was delivered june 17th. When washing my first load of clothes in my lg front load washer model #WM2455H I noticed machine shaked really bad. Just moving into my new home I found time to call two weeks later to the store who delivered the machine. They came out and looked at the washer and told me that there was a problem with the suspension inside the machine it probably needs to be changed.The tech. from RC Wiley said he would turn it in to his boss. Two days later a tech. from LG electronics came adjusted the legs on the washer ran machine through one cycle machine ran ok at then. Two days later washer started shaking more violently than before. I called LG spoke to a supervisor july 18th to still have not seen a tech. They said they would call me when they found a appliance service to come out and repair the washer. The last person I spoke to Sunny on july 28th her # [protected] ext 7010 never called me back which she said she would.I would like machine changed.

LG Electronics sump dead/no help from lg

Where do I start? First off my experience with LG corporation has caused me to shout it out loud to avoid this company at all costs and don't be fooled by their clever advertisments and flashy looking products. The quaility is not there. The customer service is not there and the compasion towards the consumer is non-exisitant. The story starts off with a purchase of a new LG dishwasher 5811 in April 2006 (installed and in use by July of the same year due to renovation). From July 06 to April 08 the DW seemed to operate good. It was quiet and seemed to clean pretty well. We had noticed strainge noises and occasional leaks that we assumed were from wet dishes being placed inside the machine. Later we would find out that this make had LOTS of problems. In late April 08 the machine stopped working and an "LE" code came up on the display. We contacted the "GE Warrenty" people who had our 4 year ESP extended warrenty thru Home Depot. On May 8th a service tech took a look at the machine and stated that the motor is "gone". May 24th another tech returned to install the new motor and stated that no seals were ordered. He went online to "LG to order a "sump assembly" and found that this part is no longer made due to a manufacturer defect. I was told that the first 6 months of 2006 model 5811 were ALL bad sump issues. Basicly what I was told is that there IS no sump part for my machine because it was internally redesigned and no such part exists. Funny because LG never sent along a recall notice to my home. The tech in turned stated that LG will probably replace the dishwasher. I received a call on the 27th from the tech stating that LG will replace the machine due to the unavailable part. This is where a good company would have ended this story, but we are talking about the LG corporation. Between June 2nd and June 14th 3 separate faxes were sent to different numbers provided by LG. On June 14th I spoke with Nacretia Lawton [protected] in Alabama that a 4th. fax was sent and what was the problem. I had to contact tem to get confirmation of receipt of the paperwork. She stated to me that they needed 24 to 48 hours on a "resolution" in the case of my dead dishwasher. On June 17th Ms Layton called and stated they will do a "pro-rated buyback" and not replace it. Now let me put this in prospective: $700 dishwasher dead in 21 months of use on a machine that they KNEW is faulty and defective and they want the consumer to shoulder the expense...ahh no. After having a long conversation with Ms Layton from LG and her supervisor it was obvious that a pro-rated buyback was the only way LG was going to resolve this. I felt that their offer of $560 was not acceptable when you take into accout the cost of the machine $700, the cost of delivery $50, the cost of the extended warrenty that by the way dies with the machine $89, and the cost of the plummer to install rate of $65 per hour then you can understand why $560 is not accepatble on LG junk. Now in the meantime wit alot of interenet research I found I was not alone. Hundreds of simular stories with people getting screwd by LG. I decided afer reading some of these to stop at the place wher I bought all of my appliances Home Depot. After copying all of the internet complaints and carefully recording in writing my conversations with LG I brought my case to the manager of HD. He was really listening to what I had to say which is more than what LG was doing. He said he would have a result within 12 hours. In the meantime, Ms. Lawton from LG calls and states on my machine that SHE needs an answer by 5 pm that day or SHE is closing the case. So, remeber they needed "24 to 48 hours" to make a descision on what THEY were going to do. Now they want me to give mine in less that 3 hours. Well, I placed a call to the supervisor and put her on notice that i needed more time. In the meantime a day goes by and the mgr at Home Depot is telling me to contact Ms. Layton because they will replace the machine one for one. I get home and call her and she denies ever speaking with anyone from Home Depot. A call was placed back to the mgr of HD and he is confussed about the whole situation. I told hime that maybe better luck with the warrenty people was the way to go. I then receive a call on my answering machine that if I didn't contact them "today by 5 pm" that she was canceling my case and this time she was mean about it. I heard from Home Depot that they will replace the machine with a GE version and this would be the end to it. I appologize fro the length of the letter but the only thing I can suggest if you own one of these LG dishwashers is to get rid of it fast...junk junk junk! I found pleading my case in person at HomeDepot to be the best way to resolve it. Remember the squeeky wheel gets the grease...so don't give up...thats what they expect from us.

I bought a lg dishwasher model number LDF6810ST and had so many problems with the dishwasher on the heating element. I had to replace it 4 times. The first time it was under warranty but the last 3 I had to pay the parts and labor. Never buy LG products again.

Worst dishwasher I ever owned. Not even a year old and have had multiple service calls. LG service is horrible. They improperly re-installed the dishwasher after many multiple repairs and when my daughter was unloading dishes from the dishwasher, the whole thing came out of the cabinet snapping the mounting brackets and chipping the laminate counter and breaking dishes. They claim they were not responsible, DO NOT BUY ANY LG PRODUCTS!

We bought an LG dishwasher and refrigerator. Have had the service rep out at least 10 times.. The diswasher is the worse... Wiring harness melted, computer chip malfunctions cycling problems, would shut off between wash and rinse cycle, motor went, pump went, etc, etc, etc... Finally took it to the dump where it belonged and bought another from a different manufacturer.. Ice Maker in Refrigerator will make ice sometimes, other times it won't... If you press "crushed ice" your get cubes, if you press "cubes" you get nothing... Ice-dam builds up constantly behind ice tray... Ever two weeks have to get in the freezer with warm water to get it loose... Freezer door cracked for some unknown reason... Would not recommend LG Appliances to anyone, they are truly pieces of S**T...

I purchased an LDS5811ST dishwasher in December of 06. In September of 08 the sump assembly failed. While the part was replace under warrentee labor to install was $150. IN October of 2009 the sump assembly once again failed, since it was no longer under warrantee the estimated repair price was $460.00. This piece of garbage now resides at the curb waiting to be hauled off to the dumps. Stay clear of LG producsts, this is not a consumer friendly company.

I purchased a lds5811 also 2 years ago. Same thing le code. Lg says there is no upgrade or recall on the motor. They say because it has a black face and not stainless its a different motor? Come on..what a joke. I have bought several LG items, but they did not care. Stay away...

I bought an LG 5811 dishwasher in November 2006. Within the first month, they had to replace the motor. Now I find that there is a leak in my basement. It's the dishwasher. Something with the hose. I had to pay a plumber to tell me where my leak was coming from. Then I had a repairman come out to fix it. He said it was the hose. Then it took over a week to get the part to fix it. In the meantime, I've made a claim to my insurance to see if there was any water damage. They have put industrial fans in my kitchen and basement and a humidifer to dry out my floors. I never had any clue that the DW was leaking until I found water in my basement. My insurance co. is going try and get LG to pay back my deductible. We'll see.

Stay away from LG dishwashers. I have an LG refrigerator and so far, so good.
I will never buy an LG applicance again.

Thanks for all of the info. We purchased the LG 5811 in August '05 for a rennovation as well. I really liked the dishwasher as it was quiet and seemed to clean well. Last month I started getting the error code for bad water supply or intake valve failure. We checked the water supply and it was fine. We replaced the intake valvue ($26) but it didn't fix it. After reading this, I think I'll just replace with another brand. I was going to purchase an LG flat panel tv, but thanks to your comments I'll stay away from LG.

I bought a brand new LG dishwasher 2 months ago. It has never cleaned the dishes adequately. Dishes come out as if they have never been washed. LG has been out 4 times and they claim nothing is wrong. There only resolution they offer is to send another service person out but tell me if they find nothing wrong they will charge me. Thi company has no concept of customer service. LG Sucks!

LG Electronics after sales service of a. c.

I have bought lg 2 ton split a. C. There has been problem with the compressor and lg after sales service executive advised for change of compressor on warranty and I was assured of replacement in two days on the basis that compressors are readily available with them but it has been 8 days since I have been waiting for the same. I feel companies make all tall claims only to sell their products and they don't know what strength word of mouth has in the next purchase.

LG Electronics lg refrigerator #lfc25760sw

We purchased a LG Refrigerator "French Door Style" model # LFC25760SW from Home Depot on 9/4/06 for $1, 500.00. Within nine months the two center Optibin crisper drawers collapsed. The drawers are only held up by a thin plastic framed upper shelf with a glass inset shelf. There is no center support between the drawers to support the drawers sufficiently. The drawers will not pull out unless you push up on the drawer and upper shelf with one hand while you pull it out with the other hand.
One of the optibin crisper flaps snapped off because it is made of thin plastic and the drawer is broken.

Also, the "faux" stainless steel door pulls scratch easily.

I have called and emailed LG about this and I have not gotten a response. First they did not return my first phone call, and then they did not return my email until I had to e-mail them again. I faxed them my purchase invoice twice and they said they still have not gotten it after 5 days.

LG is a poorly run company and is not set-up properly to do business in the USA. I suppose they do not want to do business in the USA because I'm sure all their call centers are in India or somewhere else, and the people who work there have no authority to actually resolve a problem but are instructed to give the consumer the run-around in hope's that the consumer will give up.

I also had a employee from Home Depot call and the person from LG said they have no record of my first call and I probably called the wrong number. (I called the 800 number on the front of the User Guide for the refrigerator). I would just like my money back so I can buy a GE refrigerator.

I suppose we deserve this by exporting all our manufacturing jobs overseas. I would like to buy a refrigerator that is made in the USA but I don't think one exists.

I also have an LG French door refrigerator. Since it was new, the optibin drawers have been nothing but trouble. While under warranty the drawers were replaced twice. Now that I'm out of warranty, the entire shelf has broken and the drawers have never consistently stayed in their slides. This was obviously a poorly executed design from the start with substandard parts. Based on this experience, I refuse to buy any LG product and encourage anyone I speak to to do the same.

I have the same model LG Refridgerator. One of the Optibin top covers snapped off, along with all of the wheels that help support the underside of the Optibins. I also had to have the light on the inside of the fridge replaced since it melted and was actually a heat box when discovered. I am certain that had it remained like that for another few hours, there would have been a fire. The light was repaired and updated at no charge, despite the warranty having been expired. However, the fact remains that this is a poor quality refridgerator and I would be unlikely to recommend this brand to anyone. Hopefully they have made improvements since this version, focusing on quality parts.

LG Electronics system in standby mode

I have given the complaint regarding my 29" LG TV not functioning in the company authorized service center. They promised me to send the person on dated 07 th June 08. They intimated regular time of coming and making us to wait and never responded. lastly I approached the helpline the team leader has assured me that my problem will be attended with next our, but in vain. when I approached they asked me regarding the complaint number, again i have taken the complaint no S8C60904418. can some executive person can really help me in solving my problem and streamlining the existing services so that no body like me should should suffer.

LG Electronics their washer and plasma are junk

The lg front loading washer died after four years of regular service. It was filled with black mould and couldn't be fixed. Paid 1, 600 bucks for it. Piece of junk that couldn't be repaired. Same for my lg plasma tv. Bought at the same time the picture is shot. Yellow streaks through the picture. Paid 4, 500 bucks. Lg doesn't give a rats * about customer service. Basically they tell you to shove it. I will never have any lg or korean products in my house after my experience. I didn't realize that they used to be called goldstar which I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I feel like I chump for being sucked in by their re-branding. Avoid their junk like the plague.

Yes I agree, L G doesn't make or stand behind there product !
My washer and dryer 3 yrs old, they are JUNK. They have falled apart, with high repair cost and down time.
Just don't buy any L G product, be a smart buyer !

the issue here is that the filter on the washer is not cleaned it's located on the bottom hand side of the washer .it should be cleaned monthly if not this compartment collects water which if of course left there over let's say 4 years willl grow into mold the info is in owner's manual..

LG Electronics very bad service

I bought a LG i-sensor waching machine HS8014, more than one month back. Till now its kept as it is as the response from the LG India has been very bad.
First of all, the machine was delivered 7days after purchase and was told that LG delayed the delivery. Then, when the machine arrived, it had scratches on the front panel and broken lid, I was told that we can mention this on delivery slip and LG people will contact. That happened, but after that at least 4 persons have come to see the machine without any results.
On calling LG customer service we have been given many complaint numbers and many names and numbers of their personnel in Bangalore (Symonds, Mansoor, Rajesh C etc.)but nothing is done. In first place, these persons don't pickup the phone and if they pickup they promise to do the needful, and never communicate back.

It has been a month and around 30-40 calls, still machine cannot be used, making it a classical example of bad customer service, in the times when other companies are moving towards customer delight. Even LG people don't want to communicate anything.

This incident has only reaffirmed that the LG service still remains bad as was, 10 years back, but came in the words of the salesman this time.

I am a loyal customer of LG for past 15 years. Unfortunately, my brand loyalty towards LG has been miserably dazed. I bought a 42 inch projection TV in September, 2002. In March this year, suddenly the TV conked off. We immediately contacted authorized service centre of LG (complaint number C1031816031 dt 18 Mar 2010). The TV goes automatically into protection mode within few seconds after switching on. The problem was detected in deflection board of the TV. We were told that the part had to be changed and it would take maximum 7 days. On the 10th day, after repeated calls to the service executives, the part was delivered but it did not serve the purpose. We were told that the small unit of the new part was missing. We were made to wait for another 15 days and finally informed that nothing could be done as the specific part was not available.

Is this the customer satisfaction and support LG stands for? Which is absolutely contrasting to what you advertise every time? This also shows lack of professionalism in providing support to their products. I have lost faith in LG and cannot imagine that a company like LG has actually not kept any provision for spare parts of expensive products like 42 inch projection TV. I don’t understand what I should do now. I find myself helpless in the hands of LG. I am badly stuck. Kindly find a solution to this problem at the earliest.

LG Electronics poor after sales service

Hi,

We bought lg split ac from a delear in guntur name: vijay tv & video home (Digital square) guntur.
The unit has 1 year warenty. The inside unit developed a problem. When we called service centre, the agent said that the remote was faulty and wanted us to rectify somewhere else as the trasmitter was not working. We got the remote tested and found it to be working perfectly fine. We called the service center and told them the same. The agent came back and said the reciever in the inside unit was not working and also said the reciever pcb needs to be changed. Its been more than 15 days and no one has turned up insipite of us calling them morning and evening.

This is a demonstration of pathatic after sales service provided by lg india. I would never recommand lg products to anyone.

Lg service sucks and i have started to hate the product.

LG Electronics channel changing automatically in the evening from 7pm to 10pm

Hello,

Iam Sumi John from Trichur (Kerala). I bought a LG '21' inch Colour Flatron TV two years back. One month before, just after completing opour guarantee period, we noticed an unusual problem in our TV. Every evening from 7pm to 10 pm this TV is not working properly at all. Problem is, when I am watching programm in diferrent channel, automatically channel changeing and going to '0'. Again and again it is happening. This time remort is also not working. I called the service engineer to my house. But he told he didnt find any problem. They took some money and went back. But in the evening evening the same problem happened.
Again called up themand logged another complaint with clearly stating that problem happening in the evening after 7pm. Then we gave the TV to their service centre. Now the TV is with the service centre for the last 3 weeks and they are not making any effort to repair. They are blaiming the cable channels. Tje same problem has happened for another person when i checked www.consumercomplaints.com.(C1703761)
When I contacted him, he told he also experienced the same reply from the service engineers. Then he contacted the regional service centres. And atlast the Tv got repaired. He told the service engineers changed one IC . Please make further proceedings for us. Or I will be forced to take legal action againt your products. Brcause of your negligence, we cant recommend your product to my people.
Hope you will do the needful.

LG Electronics icemaker

I purchased the bottom freezer refridgerator with top French doors. Since day one the icemaker didnt work. Six months later and 6 service calls later it was fixed. Now one year later the icemaker doesn't work again. The approved LG technician was called and told me there was a technical bulletin reference an "upgrade" done to the icemaker due to numerous problems. LG 's attitude today is too bad so sad.

Cool looking fridge, but DO NOT BUY IT. Trust me, not worth spending this kind of money on a company that will not stand behind their product.

Completely agree that this refrigerator looks nice, but is a piece of junk. LFX31925ST. Cost was 2400 USD. We unfortunately bought one 10/1/2011 and since 5/2014 it was starting to get very loud. To make a long story short, we have had the LG technicians out several times, they replaced some Boards, and the freezer portion never worked after 5/2014 again. Now it is nearly 9/2014 and they still have not been able to repair it. The technicians charged us so far north of 300 USD and it is still not working...The refrigerator has been a huge disappointment and we will have to get another one. There is no way around it. Next one will definitely not be an LG, never ever anything from LG again.

We purchased a LG French Door Model# LFC22740SB and paid upwards of 2000.00 for it also. Two years later the ice maker is leaking all over the place. Repair guy told me it was a common thing for this to happen to the LG models. Very disappointed with it and will not make the same purchase again!

own a LG LFX25960ST, and am disappointed. Recommend strongly against owning one. Ice maker front ice door won't open to serve ice. Leaks water down the front of the fridge and onto the wood floor. Turns out LG misrepresented the energy star rating as well too, so the DOE is making them pay up, but when you go to LG's website to register, the link is broken. Will turn my ice maker off for now. Wonder after searching around if it's a valve or solenoid that needs repair, as I also get standing ice in the bottom of my ice maker. I own many LG products, but if I can't get to a decent solution on this, I'm done with the company.

i have a lg fridge lfx25960st, , , paid 2333.00 for it it is 3 years old this month, and i am now purchasing my 3rd ice maker, i called lg in alabama, the so called manager was rude, sorry your 1 year is up, i will never buy a lg product again, not even a dog dish, it cost 216.00 labor for 2 service calls plus the cost of the part.it is sad that they can get away with crap like this

Yet another LG ice maker failure, wont make ice and LG claims it's only covered for one year. The warrantee in the book says 2 years parts and labor.
Fortunately my dealer is going to try again to get LG to cover the ice maker, it has worked off and on since it was purchased 18 months ago.

I bought my LG fridge-freezer bottom about two years ago. I had several problems with my ice maker untill I had my repair man fix it. I also have a problem with my freeser having ice in the rear built up that I have to remove chunks of ice out of it. I also for some reason the frezzer has water comming out of the botoom that ruined my new hardwood floor. I have notified my attorney general office, the LG company and the company I purchased the unit from. Yes it looks nice but with the water leak, the ice, the ice maker, it is a piece of garbage.

I am an attorney near Philadelphia who is considering initiating a class action against LG related to the defective design of their ice maker. I have clients in different states who have had problems that LG fixed, but the problems re-occurred after the warranty expired. LG Electronics cost of repair too high, product not working within two years of purchase

I have got a micro oven on 28/5/06 model no 2331br, apprently it has stopped working and lg service people from sigma services have been quoting the repair price as rs.1500 including the service charge. But a new machine will cost not more than rs.4000.

The product has got spoilt within 2yrs, so I think it was a mistake to buy lg product with having such short product life and the maintainence cost being so high priced.

I really would like you to check the repair cost and revert the cost.

The TV switches OFF Automatically. There is no fixed interval for this. I have first made a complaint on Mar 18. A technician from LG Attended the call, claims he has fixed the problem and would not recur.

On 14 Apr, I have given a second compliant and an other technician has attended. He claims that the first person has not done anything and now he has fixed the problem. But the next day itself the problem resurfaced.

I have again given a complaint to LG Customer Care. This time no body attended the call for 1 week. At the end of 1 week on Apr 24 2009, they have taken the TV to their Service Center in Ameerpet, Hyderabad.

Now, its 10 days and I do not have a clue where my complaint stands.

LG Electronics long pending complaint no response by lg

our lcd was not getting on one morning 15/12/2007. it was reported and logged complaint to lg helpline but no response .it was reported to our product purched shop i.e. ganpati home appliance authorised dealer. they sent some service men from dhulia who attened but unable to repair complete and tv screen not getting off while put in standbymode. they told it was required to be repair at .after some on enquire they told during voltage test one IC blownoff and it is minor problem wiil repair soon. after passing four month and reminder several time it is told that your tv is initial and now IC whitch suits to such model are not manufacturing. we got return our tv unattended after four month .kindly guide us or send our complaint to appropriet level .

LG Electronics defective piece

I had purchase the 6in 1 portable music system from Adishwars Bangalore. The dealer in order to hide deep scratches on the front panel had smartly put stickers and passed on the piece . He had the audacity to give a last piece discount of Rs 200 and fleecing me on the defective item. Moreover the User handbook was also not available in the packet. Inspite of reminding, it is yet to be delivered. What service from a premier company called LG. Moreover i have sent complaints to LG care and LG service and also listed the complaint in the company website.
BUt who is listening. Companies want only growth in top line and bottom line.

I purchase a split Airconditioner45days past.I hear lot of noice in indoor unit when compared to samsung, voltas airconditioner.
also the outdoor unit aalso makes a sound in the night hours such that It makes a self advt that I had purchased airconditioner also a nuisance to my neighbour .

LG Electronics poor customer service after amking payment

I have ordered an LG-AC on 12th April 2008 at Razzla Dazzle, Hargovind enclave, Vikas Marg-East Delhi, Delhi-India.

I have experienced following problem:

1. Installation team reached at 20.00 hrs while it was promised to reach at 18.00 hrs.
2. No owner's manual and warranty papers were found in the box.
3. Installation team didn't have proper size screws n they had to use nails many times during installation.
4. What customer supposed to do for making the site ready for AC was not explained by dealer at the time of order.
5. Address was communicated wrong by dealer to delivery team as well as installation team causing trouble to everyone.
6. Still my AC is not operational.

I had an brand image of LG in my mind which is hurt now. In future I will not choose to buy any LG products.

LG Electronics consumer abuse!

I have an LG Dryer model # DLG5932S. We continue to have an issue with the dryer not drying clothes thoroughly. This results in constantly running the dryer for hours. We have made 3 calls for repairs so far. The first two repairmen checked the lint trap in the dryer and the vent outside my house. Said "that's the problem" and walked out. The third repairman had enough IQ to call a buddy to find out what could possibly be causing this problem. AHHH, the sensors are probably bad. Finally, he ordered the sensor "touch board". This morning the fourth and different repairman came in to repair the dryer. He takes out the bad senor touch board and puts in the new one only to find out it doesn't work. He also stated that the previous repairman didn't order a complete Senor Touch Board. Ok, so he put back the old sensor board so that we could at least have a semi-working dryer. OOPS, the connection broke. Now we don't have a working dryer at all! A family of five on the weekend without a dryer. LG and the warranty company will not give us a time line as to when the part will be ordered or when it will be prepared. They refuse to pay for outside laundering. In today's time when you can get practically anything delivered overnight, you should think that this could be done for a simple part. We have waited months for this to be fixed properly, not to mention lost wages for taking time off and the repairmen don't show, reschedule, tell you that it's the lint trap and not even open the back of the machine to be sure. What a rip off and waste of money for this expensive "top of the line" piece of crap.

I will never purchase another LG product. Beware of extended warranty coverage also. That's a rip off too. With a family of 5 all teenagers, do you think I want to schlep 10 loads of laundry to the laundromat at my expense for an unlimited amount of time? Think not. When are we going to stop being raped by corporations who do not stand by their products? I did some research on the internet and parts are available with overnight delivery on E-BAY!. Why doesn't LG have this available. I have also researched other LG appliances only to find out that no matter what LG appliance you have, getting them diagnosed and repaired properly is an outrageous effort. Shame on LG. Shame on LG. Shame on LG. I will not give up on the repair, but be assured I will have a BIG MOUTH and warn every person I come in contact with the this manufacturer is to be avoided all together. ALL PRODUCTS SHOULD BE AVOIDED! DO YOUR RESEARCH!

We have had our washer and dryer for about a year now and I HATE them! Our family use to pick on me about always doing the laundry because I use to liked doing it and the laundry was always done... Not now. I have called twice to have repair people out and it's always a different story. After reading all these comments, I now know I just need to purchase a new washer and dryer - Never Another LG...

We too have an LG large capacity, worked great for a few months, now same problem as everyone else. Takes forever to dry...have to run a load 3-4 times. Our 10 yr old dryer in the basement drys in one cycle, go figure.
Will never by another LG.

Lg TROMM DLE 5977 W, three years old does a very poor job of drying clothes. Two repairmen have checked out the problem with no significant improvement. Average loads take hours to dry. We don't use dryer sheets. A repairman came and cleaned the vent both inside and outside but did no good. I believe the dryer is designed poorly and will never purchase another LG!

we also have these washer dryer combos and would not recommend LG. ours are about 3 years old, about 6 months after purchasing them the dryer would make a knocking sound and declined in drying. we got a repairman from LG who said he never worked on these yet! yikes we thought! he put new rollers in and a new temp/humidity sensor and it worked great again. then a few menthe later it would not dry the clothes again. so the repairman returned and replaces the sensors again. the a few months later again it stopped heating. I said to hell with this and called LG and they insulted me by blaming me for using dryer sheets. they said they clog the sensor and it cannot sense the humidity thinking the clothes are dry. but there's a problem I NEVER EVER USED DRYER SHEETS! so LG again changed the sensor. but soon again failed. and by this time the dryer was out of warranty and LG told me F off. so I took the dryer apart (I'm a master Electrical Engineer specializing in repairing multi million dollar automated machinery) I found that lint builds up on the sensor that has 4 tiny little holes in it and causes it to get false dry readings. so I removed and relocated the sensor cause it takes about 1/2 hour to get to this sensor. and installed it in the vent pipe so that I can easily remove and clean it. this is a VERY POOR DESIGN. LG should be ashamed because of this as it renders the dryer almost useless and very inefficient as the dryer has to be run several times to finally dry the clothes. as far as the washer it too has design flaws. they have just been replaced with maytag bravos only after 3 short years. this LG combo cost us $3000 just under 3 years ago. my advice DO NIT BUY ANYTHING LG!

I have the same problems with my dryer and poor customer service from LG...they dispatched a technician that never showed up and then acted surprised when I was angry! The most recent service call they poked at the dryer vent outside (I'd already replaced the entire vent) and scraped the sensor with a screwdriver. I just love that it takes 4 hours to dry a medium load of laundry...My deceased kenmore dryer on paper was less efficient but it dried large loads in a single cycle...Makes the fancy LG a pretty massive energy hog.

I have an LG gas dryer--DLG8388NM. Mine runs ALL DAY and the clothes are damp. It doesn't matter if I select sensor dry, manual--AWFUL. I HATE THIS DRYER. LG should be ashamed of themselves. No one has gotten back to me from Cust Serv. I will not buy their appliances again.
