Subway review: Disabled veteran discrimination - illegal denial of service
On Fri, 23 Oct 26, I went to the Subway location at 1485 NE 1 Ave, Florida City, FL (they told me they don't use "store numbers" when I asked).
I asked for the buy one-get one free as advertised.
I was told that this promotion required to download an app and use the internet ONLY.
I informed them (both ladies working there) that I was a disabled veteran and do not use a smart phone or internet AND that this was NOT stated in the television advertisements for this promotion.
They said "sorry," and that was all they would do.
Be advised, this is an illegal action by Subway in contravention of the American Disabilities Act and I intend to file formal complaints with the local code enforcement, and county and state authorities. Of course, I will further my complaint on social media as well.
Recommendation: Veterans, families of Veterans, and friends of Veterans, do NOT go to Subways.
