I INTERVIEWED AND WAS ASKED TO COME TO A THREE DAY CLASS AND WAS GIVEN A PAPER WITH NO MENTION OF A CHARGE.

3. I received an "A" and after I paid $499 and was told I would be reimbursed after 90 days of employment and the hiring manager was very interested in hiring me. I have been unemployed for over a year and have lost everything and really could not afford to hand over $499 unless it was a sure thing. I received a a bogus Certificate and Sales Training guide he mentioned the day before that we would receive upon payment when we graduated. I had to call several times about it and the leads I asked for from his job referral had bad phone numbers or the dealership had never heard of them. Roland claimed the dealerships contacted them for hirees on their website and this was all he had. Sometimes I feel that maybe Roland himself could be getting scammed from AutoMax as a Trainer, but I still feel it is an unethical hiring practice that LaMar Hyundai was a part of and three days on their property of training in their conference room would make them responsible for such a scheme.

4. I have read other various complaints on this company whereas they split the proceeds with the dealership 60/40 so both make money and take advantage of people that are desparately seeking work and getting their hopes up. The real kicker is the wording of the contract that you agree upon paying them with verbage stating their is no legal recourse.

I AM SEEKING SOME ADVICE IF THERE IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE. PLEASE POST HERE IF YOU KNOW OF ANY. THANK YOU.

I received my certificate and book after requesting it from AutoMax. There is no return address as if they are ashamed to be found.
