I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Gwatney Buick GMC-Sherwood. I bought my car back in January with just over 61,000 miles on it, and it's been in the shop twice already. First time was in May, and they had it for over a month fixing some internal damage to the engine. I was cool with that, but they gave me the runaround something fierce. Then I took it in for an oil change on August 4th, and everything seemed fine until last Thursday when the engine started making a loud sucking noise. Then on Friday, the car started shaking like crazy and stalled out. I checked the oil and there was barely any left in the engine. Now, I'm a broke college student and I can't afford all these problems with my car. Seems like they didn't attach something right or didn't do something correctly. I'm just sick of all these issues and getting jerked around.

I'm not happy with Gwatney Buick GMC-Sherwood. I would give them no stars if I could. They treated us well until we got home. The sales manager only showed us the car's price without any finance information. We left thinking the car was $45,000 and some change. We were desperate because we were stranded two states away from home after our Buick broke down on the highway. We didn't have much choice. A few days later, the finance company sent us a letter stating that we were not told the total cost of the car. They were just making us aware that the cost of the car with financing was going to be around $75,000. I was shocked. It doesn't seem like good practice to not disclose all information to your customers. It seems shady and maybe even illegal. I thought about getting a lawyer, and after the events of 8/16 with the car, I just might. My brand new, overpriced car with only 3970 miles on it stopped running. To say I'm not happy is an understatement.

I left my Cadillac XT5 2017 at Gwatney Buick GMC-Sherwood on Nov 4, 2022. They called me on Nov 13th to say they changed the battery, which they claimed was bad and had been put in by the Cadillac dealership back in May 2022. I picked up my car on Nov 14, but noticed that the heat wasn't working. I called and spoke to Lexi that day, and they asked me to bring the car back the next day. I've spoken to *** several times since then, and he assures me he'll fix the problem, but he never returns my calls. I have diagnostics from the Cadillac dealership from May 2022, the receipt from Gwatney when I picked up my car, and a video of the entire encounter on Nov 15, 2022. I want a new HVAC fuse installed at no cost and a new diagnostic completed after the job to ensure they haven't damaged anything else. I'll also accept compensation for the damage so I can get the work done at a trusted shop. I believe the dealership is responsible for the damaged fuse, and I have evidence to show there was no issue before the vehicle was serviced. I think Gwatney is avoiding responsibility. An employee even told me over the phone that they would damage my car and I'd have to have it towed away because I refused to pay for a battery that's under warranty. I'm worried this is what will happen.
