Kroger review: Stolen gift card number

I purchased my sister a $100 gift for Sephora from Krogers in Norwood in Cincinnati, Oh 45212 on 10/20/2023….. when my sister went to use the gift card at Sephora the pin was scratched off and the money I loaded was gone. She called Sephora and they stated that there was nothing that they can do. The gift card was used for three purchases online. I contacted Kroger‘s. They made a claim now they’re telling me there’s nothing that they can do so Kroger is selling stolen gift cards and they don’t want to give people their money back.
