KIA Motors service of dealership and car issues

For the most part my car has issues with bald in it they treat it out the AC system but it still there with me and it keeps coming back they told me that there's no guarantee that it's not going to come back I've only had the car about 2 years in December I just bought the car brand new when I bought it and I shouldn't have mold with it that's my first issue and the second issue is the gross negligence of the dealership itself first when I bought the car they process the car wrong I got a ticket for car not being registered right it took them 4 months to process the car right and to give me my money back that I had to pay for the ticket and second of all when I was waiting to get my car serviced they left the car unattended ahead of me nobody was in the car and roll back into the front of my car that I was sitting in and it did minor damage to my car was able to be buffed out but the problem is as I could have been killed in that car with their negligence and I just want them to buy back the car so I could just get another when I talk with them their solution is is to me is to get another car and roll over the payment on the car which I cannot afford to do at this point in the long run I would be paying more than if I bought a Mercedes or BMW and I don't want that I should have just bought that out in the 1st place if I was going to do that

KIA Motors kia sorento 2016

My Kia Sorento has been in the repair shop numerous times once for over 2 months and also again in the repair shop for the same issue that was supposedly fixed but has yet failed again. My complaint case number is [protected] it was escalated to a case manager but Kalyla has not returned my calls recently and the car is still in the shop with no word about being fixed.

KIA Motors late delivery for kia picanto 2018

Good day all, I'm JJ Wong.
I would like to complaint about the delay delivery service against Naza Malaysia. I had booked Kia Picanto Segment-A variant 2018 at with Butterworth dearler (KIA MOTOR (BUTTERWORTH) Jalan Bagan Jermal, Butterworth) in 19 August 2018, and this is my very first car ever! Since my car loan was approved in 21 August 2018, and signed the loan agreement at 25 August 2018 in the dealer premise with sales person. I have being informed that the will be arrived at last week of August thus it has been registered with JPJ at Aug 30 2018. All process done included full deposit, loan agreement, road tax, insurance, number plate, and etc. The worse case is, my loan is being disbursed without my consent and I only realized after received SMS alert from bank.

I'm still waiting for my car arrival today, it's almost one month already. The sales person told me my car can arrive before Sep 1, but it keep delay until today. I tried to get update from my sales person daily but I was informed that my car not even PDI at Gurun yet and it is still at NAM process as at Sep 24 2018. This is so unacceptable. Knowing that Naza already sending out free stocks since last weeks, even my dealer already received Picanto free stocks! But how about those already registered? Pls prioritize us! Some of us the loan is already disbursed like me, we are paying one month for nothing, the loan+insurance+roadtax is just burn off. Since my car still at NAM, I can't imagine how long do I still need to wait for the arrival?

I strongly request appropriate explanation and compensate from Naza Malaysia. The loan payment can't be burn off when I still yet to receive car as well as the first time car service will get impact too. I was learnt that the 1st time car service is countable from 1st 1000km or One month after registered, whichever earlier. I believe missing service as at schedule will bring further impact at future for claiming!

Pls give me a satisfy feedback. When can I get my car? How to compensate me for loan payment paid without car? Will this impact car service?

I am seriously to say that I will bring this issue immediately to Tribunal Pengguna if I can't get satisfied feedback by this week.

i also a victim of this in Juru AutoCity branch. my case is not that long, just 1 week but they kept on lie and drag my car delivery where all procedure had been completed! really piss with the services!

seriously I will never encourage people to get a Kia now.
Until now i yet to get my car, can you believe it?
During Aug, they told me car is ady at Pre-delivery inspection, at September, they told me there are delay in sending my car to the dealer during to the trailer service issue, now they told me my car still at knock-down! It is now even in a car shape? OMG!

Someone pls help me

Dear Sir, I 'm waiting for car's spare part for 2 months. As today, Kia still don't know when the part can be arrived in the workshop. what a ridiculous service for a car that still under warranty but have to wait so many months for the spare part. I have been calling and made complaint report but seems that Kia unable to help customer's problem at all. Very disappointed. Car number : PML5529 Kia Rio. Pls take action. thanks

KIA Motors airbag light reoccurring issue

My airbag light has came on four times in a three month time frame (6/25/18-9/23/18). I have taken my car to Universal Kia of Hickory Hollow and received a diagnostic test twice. The first time the error read "OCS mat replacement." I replaced the OCS mat. Approximately one month later it came on again and the technician turned the code off. We were not able to resolve the issue due to this. The light came back on again a few weeks later and the error read "clockspring replacement." I replaced the clockspring. Approximately two weeks later the light came on again a fourth time and I am beyond frustrated. I reached out to management explaining that this is an inconvenience and I need some reassurance that the problem will get resolved. I have yet to hear back from management. I feel like Kia could care less about their customers. This is a slap in my face. It's really sad because I bought this car from Universal Kia of Hickory Hollow and considered making another purchase. But, who would invest in a place who sees there customer as a $ sign and not a human being?

I'm Alaa eddin mahmoud i really have a problem with kia motors Egypt abou rawash bransh
I gave them my car at 25th of August for periodic maintenance for 60000 km
I took my car AC doesn't work it was a feast time i was out side Cairo i came back and made a complaint at 6th of September when i came back from my holiday
I went back to abou rawash branch they told me Ac is fine after 5 hours waiting but they refills freon gas with special colour to know where's the problem after 5 days the AC stopped againn
I stayed without AC then i went back again to abou rawash branch to wait 5 hours again then engineer/Adel manager of reception told me for second time the problem will take 3 weeks to solve because they dont have that peace that made the problem in my AC's car
I told him this is not logic to make me wait all of this time socially the weather is too hot in egypt this time of the year so he told me call me after 3 days i called him he told me call me again after 3 days more i cald him today he told me i have to wait for 2 weeks more
This is illogical i gave them my car with no problem they returned it with a problem and i'm Really tired from them
There's nobody cares here in egypt i wish to find some caring with you
Because there's something sneaky and weird happened here

KIA Motors 2016 kia soul ev fails to engage in "park"- rolls into wall

On 09/10/18 I backed up to my garage, put the car in "P", and exited to go clear a spot to park. I turned around to see my car rolling down the driveway and into the wall- while in "PARK". I took pictures of the car/wall and the shifter lever in "P".
Took it into KIA/DTLA and since they could not duplicate the issue, there's nothing wrong as far as they are concerned. Still waiting on KIA Corporate to get back to me regarding Case #[protected].
Cursory research reveals quite a bit of chatter regarding "KIA SOUL EV rolling in PARK" on various KIA user forums, so I know this is not an isolated incident.
Sure wish KIA would get back to me before this thing rolls away again and kills somebody. Would be nice to have a car that stays put when I park it.
Would be real nice if they fixed my bumper from where it rolled into the wall.

KIA Motors kia service center in old klang road, kl

I brought my car for 30000km service...i went there at 2pm and moved out at 5pm..this is what happened...the time spent for service is just 1hr...but the time spent for carwash is 2hrs...what the hell is this...is this d way u provide a service to a customer? When i started to shout at them then only the manager rushed to the carwash site...he told me that it will done in 5 minutes time...i scold him n told that i need the car now...once i got my car there i realised they even never touch my car for wash...another scenario...the girl in the counter has guts to lie to a customer infront of me who knows the real situation...pls...stop all these nonsense...

KIA Motors 2015 kia optima sx turbo software upgrade

I received notification of a needed software upgrade to prevent connector rod damage on my car. I was not told that the software upgrade was a significant performance downgrade. I bought this car almost entirely because of its performance. I now wish I had made another choice. I am hoping to organize or join a class action suit to address this problem. Hopefully having the update reversed but still honoring the warranty. Customers should not be expected to suffer for design flaws.

KIA Motors 2013 kia sorento lx - engine

I purchased my 2013 Kia Sorento LX on September 10th, 2014. I had heard so many good things about Kia, especially that a company would give 100K warranty. What company does that unless they know their cars are made to last. From day one of my purchase I took my car to Southwest Kia on Research Blvd in Austin, Texas. I have serviced my car on time with the same dealership I purchased the car from.

Right before my license plate inspection was due my car went in for maintenance, I believe fuel injectors cleaned, oil change, transmission service, etc. and I told them I am going to be traveling in 2 weeks. Every time I would take a long trip I always took my car to be checked before taking my trip. I was given the green light. On September 4th, drove about 320 miles, I am person that drives car at speed limits, I always pay attention to that little light that says econo... On September 5th, I was driving back and about 60 miles more a less. I was in a highway, I had just filled up the tank of gas... and on a highway I looked down to see my mileage I was driving at 70 miles which is 5 miles under the speed limit and I was about 15 miles outside the town I had just filled up the tank and I saw the engine light go on, and then the oil and then battery.. I immediately turned on my emergency lights and took my foot off the pedal and parked the car on the side of the highway, I turned it off. I decided then to try turning it on, but all the lights radio turn on but it would not click to start.

I then called AAA to have it towed to the nearest town where there was a KIa dealership which was 50 miles away from where I broke down. I was told that they would be 115.00 dollar charge to get a computer test. I explained to the service adviser at the Kia Dealership in Abiline Texas that their was no smoke, no noise, no sound, it happen all of the sudden. They asked me if I recently had an oil change and I said yes my car had gone for service about 1 1/2 week or 2 prior and was serviced at Southwest Kia in Austin. The service advisor at that time informed without even checking the car that their were no engine recalls with my vin number. I thought it was kind of odd to make that comment if we haven't even checked the car.
The next day I received a call from Kia Abiline, telling me that all my fluids were clean, but that it seem that their was an Oil pump malfunction and that this caused the engine to lock and that I needed a New Engine and that my car was not one on the list of engine recalls. He stated that they had been some recalls on 2013 Kia Sorentos for engine but my car was not one of them. Eventually I was told that it would cost me a 14 thousand dollars for a new engine, and that Kia had a back log on new engines ant that it could be 1 month, 1 year or more before they could get me an engine. If I wanted an engine from another Kia, it would cost about 8, 000 dollars for an engine with 94k miles on it with only a 3 month guarantee. Then I checked what the value of my car will be in the blue book and it was 8500 dollars. My Kia has 107k miles and I can not believe that I need a new engine. I sincerely think after talking to several mechanics that this is a Kia problem that my oil pump malfunction and this is what caused my engine to lock.

I just made my last payment on my car 2 days ago. I have a car that KIa sold me and that 110k miles that died, with no notice of something going on. I am totally disappointed and frustrated that I thought I was buying a car that was dependable and that properly maintained will last more than the warranty. To top it off the dealership will only give me 500.00 dollars with a car that is in excellent conditions, with new tires, new brake pads, and that has been properly maintained for the last 5 years and why is my 2013 Kia Sorento Lx not on the list of recalls if other 2013 Kia Sorento are?

I would kindly appreciate if you would contact me with an explanation.

KIA Motors dishonesty

On November 24, 2017 I went Black Friday shopping with a friend in Allentown, Pa. I knew there was a Kia dealer on Lehigh Street and wanted to speak to someone about my fob. (We purchased our 2014 Kia Sorento in Limerick, Pa. That dealership closed and we have no other local dealership near Pottstown, Pa.) Since I was in Allentown, I decided to call and ask them to look at it. The young girl I spoke to was very polite and said to bring the fob in. We were there for almost 2 hours when she told me I needed a new fob. She explained that she put a new battery in and it still did not work. She also said I should put a new battery in the spare fob since that battery was low. The total bill was almost $385.10. (I put this on my debit card and could probably get a copy of the bill if needed. I am 70 years old and believed she could be trusted. In April of 2018, the fob went dead. (I'm not sure if it was the "new" fob or the spare one). I have been contemplating what to do----I still wanted to believe this girl. I decided to talk to my local mechanic. He said a fob seldom goes bad and all I needed was to have a battery put in. I bought the battery and he put it in for me. I really feel betrayed by this girl and the Kia dealership. I will never go back to this dealership---they are very dishonest. It really puts doubt in my mind about Kia in general Sincerely, Donna Jones

KIA Motors kia of hazelton in pa. closing down

Kia motors of Hazelton Pennsylvania closed unexpectedly and I have a contract with Kia for a set to life program for lifetime free oil changes and inspections. Where do I go to get these services? Also is my 1oo, ooo mile bumper to bumper still good. we have not heard a word from Kia about this problem. It was on the news and when we drove up to the site the showroom was completely empty. KIA Motors kia rio 2016

Hi, my wife bought a kia rio 2016 new, since the first day we got the car it had issue with the acceleration and not running smoothly on the road, we went to the service and they took the car and the issue was resolved.
Couple of month after we faced the same issues, and now i's still facing the same problem with the acceleration and non-smooth running, those issues appear specially in the hot weather.
The car now is starting to make sounds and some plastic parts started to shrink cuz of the heat.
Please I need this issue resolved as i've already went to the service center more than 4 times regarding this matter with no proper response.
I would like to get this issue resolved 100% or replace the car, the car only ran 40000 km.

KIA Motors very poor customer services

I have kia soul 2016, I was resident in ksa where I bought my car from kia al jabar...
Now I shift to my country tunisia, recently I canatced kia motors sousse (the town where I live) in order to perform 70000km service, first I didn't find spare parts, second the staff was very very rude and non professional, they didn't gave any efficient information also they push to make a service there which is cost 500tnd (arround 200usd)

KIA Motors unable deliver required car but offer facelift model and asking for additional payment

This is my 3rd complait and will continue complaint till receive KIA favarable reply. I am Toyota car owner, I intend to change new car during GST free period to enjoy cost saving, after survey, I short list to 2 which is Mazda CX5 and Kia Optima GT, since Optima GT give better offer ( Festival discount : 15kRM and guarantee for Free Tax, I finally decide to paste an order to KIA Optima.
it is really a challenge to me to go for KIA as KIA doesn't impress me in the pass, after test drive experience and watch review on internets about Optima GT, finally YES to me to own the Optima GT.
JD Automotive SDN BHD promise to deliver car somewhere mid August but eventually postpone to mid Sept. the most upset me is that they unable to deliver the same spec car but replace with facelift model and asking to pay an additional of 15kRM.
THISE IS NOT FAIR AT ALL. I don't asking for facelift model, mutual agreement was done at the moment I pasted order, this is wholly a management issue to KIA which I will not compromise.KIA has able to produce high quality cars but how about the Sales & Services, similar issues will not happen to Japanese cars maker even Produa give rebate for their delivery delay.I strongly urge KIA management seriously look into this issues and give me a fair business deal.

KIA Motors cerato k3

Dear Sir,
My car was send to KIA JnS Automotive Services Sdn Bhd for checking and found that noise for air-conditioning and left rear power windows button not in good condition. Both also claim as warranty parts.
But after 4 month already, still no update from KIA service center. Now my car air-conditioning noise become worst, can your take this as serious case? Thanks.

KIA Motors kia malaysia unable to deliver car as booked but offered new facelift version and asking for extra payment.

My Name is Che Kk Hong, I am a Malaysian, I intend to change new car during GST free period to enjoy cost saving, same time KIA also offer me with festival discount of RM 15, 000.because of the atractive offer, I make a booking for KIA Optima GT at one of the Sale Office at Malaysia name JD Automotive SDN, BHD on 3rd June 2018.
JD Automotive SDN BHD promise to deliver car somewhere mid August but eventually postpone to mid Sept. the most upset me is that they unable to deliver the same spec car but offer me facelift model and asking to pay an additional of 15kRM.
THISE IS NOT FAIR AT ALL. I don't asking for facelift model, mutual agreement was done at the moment I pasted order, this is wholly KIA management issues which I will not compromise. similar complaint has been deliver to KIA Malaysia on 12th Sept but no respond till now. looking foward the support from KIA HQ Korea on this issues and give me a fair business deal.

KIA Motors finance

I purchased a car at Suntrup Kia on 7/14/18. During the Finance part of the deal, I was told by a Finance that I would be getting $3000 back in rebates and cancellation of Gap Insurance and it was added into my contract as a down payment. I was also told by the Finance Manager that once I received the money to let them know so that they could process the $3000 check that I had written to them. Every Monday I would let Kia know that I had not received the check and I would keep keeping in contact (which I was asked to do by the Finance Manager) with them to let them know the status. Well, about 4 weeks into it, Finance decided to try and run the check through and it bounced which caused an insufficient fund charge. I had not notified them (like she asked me to do) to let them know that it was ok to do so. So, the check (from the rebate) finally came and it was for $2398.98 and I made it an even $2400. I took them a Cashier's Check and told them that this is what I got back from the previous dealer. Since it was not the $3000 that I was told that I was going to get back, I was told that I still had to pay the balance of $600 and was asked if I had $100 that same day to put down as part of the $600. Keep in mind, I was never told that in the event that the check was not the $3000 I would have to pay the balance it was just stated that my rebate/Gap cancellation was $3000 (I didn't know if they actually called the other dealer and that is what they told Kia or what for them to come up with this amount) yes I signed the contract thinking that this is what I was going to get so that I could pass it on to Kia. So, I paid the $600 on 9/12/18 to them which I think is unfair because this was unexpected and I wanted them to have their money and not get harassed if I couldn't come up with it fast enough. My main complaint is that nothing was explained to me in a way I thought it should have been. Finance didn't go over the contract show how much my trade in was, how my down payment was calculated or anything like that. I was just told how much my monthly payments would be. I kind of felt like I was just the next person in line, let us get you out of the way so that we can move on to the next person. I went to Kia thinking that I would have a better experience and to give Kia a chance since I have always had business with Nissan or Toyota, but in turn it was not a good experience for me at all and I am not happy at all about how the Finance handled their business.

KIA Motors unprofessional activities at lebanese branch of the company

Dear Sir or Madam, my Name is Talal and I am a University Professor in Beirut, Lebanon. I am writing this complaint to notify you about what happened with me during these two weeks at KIA Lebanon service center. I have a Sportage that I have bought at the company in 2012 and I have been always since day 1 respecting all routine revisions as per policy. Twelve days ago on Friday, I went to the car service center for a regular oil change. 5 min after I left the center I started to hear a weird noise in my car, so I called the service center to check what is happening, but they answered me to bring the car back on Monday because they were about to close for today! I stopped the car at a wheels change workshop to check if this noise is coming from the wheels. But it turned out that the car was EMPTY from oil. They simply forgot to replace the oil and kept it empty at KIA Lebanon's service center. This is a big mismanagement issue.To make the story short, after I took the car to the center they started to make excuses in order not be blamed for this incident such as the car wouldn't have moved if it was empty rom oil (knowing that the oil filter was not changed)... After five days of calls and discussions and asking the company to check the security cameras that can prove the big mistake that they committed they admitted their fault and told me that the car will be repaired. However, they overcharged me with overpriced items that are not related such as radiator and seal oil etc. in order to cover up for the fees of the repairing. Not only that, but they gave me back the car with a noise in the front, and when I called them back to check why there is this noise, the KIA's technician told me that the sound is normal cause the oil needs time to reach the motor!
Unfortunately, and after my recent bad experience, I decided and my family to no longer buy any KIA product in Lebanon despite the fact that we loved our Sportage, simply because we do not want to work anymore with the Lebanese representative who is not qualified at all to be a representative for your esteemed company. KIA Motors recalled engine on my 2013 kia optima

My car died on the side of the highway on my first day of work June 11 2018. Kia had a recall on the engine due to metal in the oil. No wonder all the oil changes i got never lasted. They waited for the engine to arrive for over 2 months. I finally got it back last week and it is broken again less than 7 days later. I was stranded on the highway in the rain again. Its now back in the shop and the service manager Dan says it will take another 3 weeks to diagnose. They have other engines to put in and mess up. I have spent over $3000 in rentals and tows and service and parts. Now they cannot even give me a loaner car. I saw them give another lady a loaner this morning at the dealership after telling me they had no more left. Also, Kia of Bowie gave me records stating that when they installed the new engine I was given new belts and hoses. I have clear pictures of a few days after I got the vehicle back that the belt was completely worn. Dan said..."Oh, they were supposed to replace those". I am about to lose my new government job and this issue is causing a financial hardship. I cannot get an hour to work and back each day, feed my family and maintain my bills while paying $250 a week for rental cars and random $100's for tows and diagnostic testing and parts.
