Joe's Crab Shack A order I placed for to go

I placed a to go order today on 12/31/21 the same order I've been placing for months a couple times a month. I ordered two Dungeoness Crab boils with rajun seasoning on and on the side with extra butter on and on the side. When I got home to my pregnant wife she cried which made me extremely upset. One container one cluster the other had 1 and a half but there was no seasoning and no butter it was so dry. I called to speak with a manager, Bob, he offered for me to come back and get another cluster I live an hour away. I was confused on why I wasn't offered a replacement for the next time I come since I come so often.

Joe's Crab Shack Service

Service we received in Branson, MO on Branson Landing. My sister and I took a little vacation to Branson. We had dinner the evening of Dec. 15th, 2021. It looked like a very calm, relaxed place. There were 2 rooms for dining. One with couples and very calm, the other I suppose a family room or at least a room with large tables. 2 of us were placed between 2 large groups of family's with a lot of small children. Very loud unruly children that were running around bumping into our table and chairs. Knocking are table so hard spilling the drinks. Now we were just looking for a nice seafood dinner. We are not at all against families and children, we both have raised children and have grandchildren but something should have been said or done. My sister finally couldn't take it anymore so she went and asked the waitress if we could be moved somewhere more quieter. A man from the kitchen came out and was not very nice and told her they would be leaving soon couldn't we just stick it out. By then my sister was so upset. She said no, they either move us or we were leaving. Well they did move us. By the time we finally were able to eat our food was cold. We spent well over $100.00 on a miserable time and cold food. We were never asked if we needed anything. They just brought us the bill.

Joe's Crab Shack Service/hostile manager

On November 29th, 2021 my family and myself decided to try Joe's Crab Shack on the San Antonio Riverwalk. We were seated promptly, waited about 5 minutes before a waitress came over to let us know we would be in her charge. That was common, however she did not return after that, did not take our drink order, we were left sitting there for about 20 minutes or so until a new waiter took over. It's not as if she had left for the evening, she just didn't want to be in charge of our table it would seem. The gentleman who took over was friendly, although it still took about 10 minutes to get our drinks after he took that order, he then took our food order in which there was a side salad, two cups of clam chowder, two cedar grilled salmon dishes, a childrens mac and cheese, and childrens fish sticks…none of which was brought to the table after over 30 minutes. Two tables who arrived after us were all brought their food well before us. At the point our Cham chowder was brought by, needless to say it had already been an hour or more with no entrees to speak of. I approached the waiter and let him know we would be cancelling our order, and simply paying for our drinks and the clam chowder we didn't even touch because there is no reason we should have been waiting over an hour. He was apologetic and said he understood, he got the ticket, called the manager over, we were already waiting and ready to pay so we could leave and find food elsewhere. This is when the hostile, and defensive manager stepped in saying she didn't understand what was going on as our food was ready to come out etc…at this point we explained that we had waited 30 min at least before our order was even taken, coupled with an additional 30 minutes waiting on the food itself, she then tried to state it's because of the grilled dishes…. it does not take 30 plus minutes to grill a small fillet of fish. She walked away without apologizing, another customer who had come in after us, and was given their food well before us came over and apologized as he had seen we were there for a while before them. The waiter apologized again, the manager never made an effort to correct the situation. This is not okay. The restaurant was not overly busy, so it did not seem to be a staffing issue, I'm left to believe as all the other patrons we Caucasian that is must be a racial issue as we were the only brown patrons in the establishment. Obviously I would like this rectified, if it's just a matter of training so be it, but this is not how your restaurants should be treating paying customers.

Joe's Crab Shack Product and service

We ordered 2 queen buckets. Extra corn add 1 sausage 2 Pina coladas a shot, garlic bread, 1 coke 1 sweet tea. stuffed mushrooms at 7:40 it is now 9:22pm our server was Madeline … the mushrooms were not all the way cooked one was cold In the middle. The pina coladas were in a regular glass. The crab tasted like a straight salt. Our sever was busy but I waited 20 minutes then approached a group of servers. They remade my crab with the same result. The buckets were charged at 47$ not 38$ and I was so mad about it all I just left as it all got worse continually. Not only the disappointment as we have not been able to make it to Joe's since September. Also the manager not coming out to speak with us. Then the incorrect charge for the food. Also no one ever answers the phone there.

Desired outcome: I want them to cover our next 100$ spent there. And teach the new cook how to cook the mushrooms and the bar tender the correct size goblet glass

Joe's Crab Shack Food, service

Long wait, once seated took 20 minutes for us to be asked our drink order. Ordered key lime pie, clam chowder, calamari, jalapeño hush puppies, and a salmon fish with rice and broccoli. Clam chowder came out cold and looked/tasted like a combination of several soups, not just clam chowder. The fries that came with the hush puppies were the worst thing i've ever tasted. the calamari was all breading with barely any squid. the salmon was burnt and flavorless despite being doused in a brown rub. The brocoli and rice also were completely devoid of flavor. Asked for to go box and was given a bag that was dirty and covered in a brown substance.
The only decent thing was the key lime pie which did not have to be cooked and was most likely store bought. Slow service and they were out of multiple things on the menu.

Joe's Crab Shack Food quality

November 23, 2021 I went to Joe's Crab Shack in Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi UAE.
First they were out of all crab products.
We ordered the Joe's steamer & Reel Big Catch.
The steamer contained two lobster tails, shrimps, crayfish and muscles. All food was very dry and rubbery and was way overcooked. It seemed like it was cooked twice or more; and the lobster smelled like Ammonia.
I complained to manager he gave us 6 pieces of prawns cooked very well.
The fried food (Reel Big Catch) was also overcooked and not very hot.
Basically, that was the worst seafood I ever had and I ate there many time, but always was okay. This was not worth being free let alone I payed AED 393. Over $100 USD.

Desired outcome: Should not serve public this kind of quality

Joe's Crab Shack Service & food

My family and I visited the Fayetteville, NC location on Nov. 01, 2021 @ 2000. There was only 5 tables including ours and the service was absolutely slow. The waitress was inattentive. We waited at least 15minutes to even place our drink order and another 10min for our food order. There were 6 people in our party and we ordered 5 Queen Crab Buckets, 2 old bay and 3 garlic. When we received our order the garlic buckets did not have an ounce of garlic on it. When I brought it to our server's attention she brushed it off and said that the garlic was in the sauce on the bottom. Normally our buckets are bursting with flavor. I have ate at this location before on a very busy night and have never had this kind of service. She still received 10% tip from our $300.12, which she really didn't deserve. And I know every one wants to blame COVID, but there were at least 3 servers working that night including ours. For the amount of money I spent on my meal I expected more. What makes it worse is that my sister was visiting and I bragged on the food and service to her and that's why she specifically requested that we eat at Joe's before she flew back home. I was embarrassed and disappointed in the service and the flavor of the food. Even our pound of peel and eat shrimp was flavorless. I drove an hour to patronize this location and I may never return to this location again after this visit. I could have spent this much money at my local Harris Teeter and been better off. Server: Tishayda; November 01, 2021 ticket says 2000, but we arrived around 1830; Ticket #: 40029; $300.12 plus 10% tip.

Joe's Crab Shack Food temp undercooked

I ordered the captain's platter and the shrimp tacos with the chips and cheese my food came cold or both orders the fish was falling apart wasn't even together everything was cold the cheese was cold fish was cold only thing I got was the rice and veggies and I wouldn't have expected it to come out hot since I was waiting there for about 10 to 15 minutes for it to come out

Joe's Crab Shack Bad and no service

On Monday, October 4, 2021 at 8:45 pm, i arrived at the Joes Crab Shack, 8400 International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819 to eat at and support the restaurant only to discover the restaurant doors were locked. Although the restaurant hours posted on the front door state 9:00 pm closing. I waved my hands at several employees as they clearly ignored me. It wasn't until approximately 8:57 pm that a family walked out, i was able to slip inside with anticipation of getting served.

Once i walked in i again had to waved someone down to ask for management.

Mickey procrastinated in getting me the manager after i waited outside for 12 minutes beginning at 8:50 pm.

Tee, the manager finally came out at exactly 9:00 pm. I asked her if you closed the restaurant early? She stated yes, because she has only two servers. Well, i saw at least three and she'd make four. I told her that as a military veteran who has supported this restaurant for years, I didn't appreciate being ignored and more so, not being able to eat as i made a special trip to her restaurant to support it. She began to get rude, boisterous and cutting me off. I reminded her that i am a very unhappy customer and please hear me out. After 2-3 minutes of this, she walked off, while i was talking. I have the video footage to prove it.

By the way, I don't think her real name is Tee. I tried confirming this and refused to give me her real name. Im sure it's because she wanted to make it difficult for me to prove that it was her who made my experience even worse!

All employees there that night including Tee should be fired!

Joe's Crab Shack Steam pots

Me and my father visited the Fort Worth location today I got the Atlantic steam pot it was the most bland thing I have ever tasted I had to get some old bay seasoning on the side to have any kind of flavor. For $41.49 it's not worth it. And with the inflation going on it was a stretch to do this, I am very disappointed I don't think we will be going back any time soon

Joe's Crab Shack My family was granted no service discrimination sue

My name is Lucenda Randle My family park at the platinum garage and walk to their river walk dinning area We arrived at 7:37 and it took us a walk of 10-15 mins to get there due to the cross light and there was no line And I at least counted 5-7 tables well we was turn around because there was not enough waiters, not because it was pack or full I was told I had to wait 25 mins until they can find a server to serve us. We was hot and tired and just wanted to sit cause my son got exhausted from walking so I said we willing to wait can you at least dine us and she was like no you gotta wait somewhere else and we will text you when we have a server.. so I said ma'am you expect me to wait 25 mins and outside it's hot and we eating dinning here but in order for us to even dine here I gots to wait outside she said yes.. and repeated when did y'all get this rule she said it been established forever.. I told her that's okay we will eat some where else thanks please call me [protected] Lucenda Randle

Desired outcome: I paid for parking a total of $12 to eat there not only that but it was me my som and his dad their to celebrate our son first job We was discriminated

Joe's Crab Shack Service when we first came in!

I just left the Fayetteville, NC restaurant and walked the hell out with my family! We walked in at 3pm and the host sat us down. We waited and waited for someone to at least take our drink order. After 15 minutes nothing! 20 minutes nothing! Another large family sat behind us and within 3 minutes they had a waitress attend to them. We were still waiting! My kids start getting upset because they are hungry and it's 3:35. We proceeded to walk out at 3:40pm and told the nice host lady that we were just going to leave. We were very upset and that we would complain. The host at one time tried to ask the slow bartender why we were waiting so long, and she gave the host an attitude and told her she was making drinks! So the host apologize to us. I used to come here all the time and tip the waiters and waitresses well. We sat there for almost 45 minutes and no waitresses or waitresses helped us. No one asked us anything. They would just pass by us like we were not there!🤬🤬This was the worst way to treat a great past customer!

Joe's Crab Shack Service and food was terrible!

This was my first and last time ever coming to this restaurant. The service was terrible and when I expressed my concern to the manager she could care less. The establishment was pretty empty when we arrived now I know why. The manager only took off $20 when the kids didn't end touch but a full crab claw because it was over cooked.

Joe's Crab Shack Dinner at the Sevierville TN location

I am a longtime customer and fan of Joe's Crab Shack. Tonight I had dinner with my daughter and two gran-daughters at the Sevierville TN location. Our dining experience was quite disappointing, first the restaurant had a stale gush odor emitting as we opened the door to enter. The floors were as slick as ice due to them being greasy. I had to ask for our table to be wiped down because it was so sticky. The service was excellent, but overall the food was not at the normal Joe's standard for taste and freshness we are accustomed to Joe's. The appetizer (Mozzarella Bricks) was overcooked and the cooked in old grease. In the order of tacos, my granddaughter said we're tasteless and she only ate one of three. The three Atlantic steamer pots were ok but did not have the freshness usually served at Joe's and the side order of clams were Luke warm. With gratuity, my bill was $223.00 dollars, a lot of money spent for such a disappointing meal.
I'm very hesitant to use this location again and seeing it's the only location in my area it will be a longtime until I return.

Joe's Crab Shack Food quality

Very unfortunate experience that I received on Saturday, August 14, 2021. I placed an order that included muscles and a steam bucket of both dungeness and snow crab, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. The muscles were okay, the snow crab had green junk at the top and the "deveined" shrimp were still dirty. I'd hope that spending almost $70.00 would be worth my wild, but it was a disappointing experience. With this pandemic, we look forward to some sense of happiness, which includes good food. It was really unfortunate that my trip was a waste and the food was not cleaned/prepared properly. I had taken it to go so I did not see this until I got home and unfortunately was not able to get through to a manager when I called back. I usually take these matters up with the store itself, but when I'm unable to get through, corporate is the next step. Looking forward to hearing from you with some resolution to this matter, thank you. (Order #2263 - $65.07 - Garden Grove, CA location)

Joe's Crab Shack Cajun steam pot

I ordered the cajun steam pot it did not have lobster in it and i asked to replace the muscles with extra shrimp and did not receive extra shrimp they just took the muscles off. The food was good but I was just dissatisfied that I paid over 40 for the stream pot to not get the lobster or the extra shrimp. I can understand if they were out but nobody said anything about that.

Joe's Crab Shack Shrimp Ensemble/East Coast Platter

Half of the food on each meal was cold. Items were not available, and substituted. The clams looked about 2 days old and appeared as though they had been reheated. We had to have fresh ones brought out. My fish came completely out of the breading. This was by far the worse food we have ever received at Joe's.

Joe's Crab Shack Missing order that’s was paid for

I was visiting gatlinburg Tennessee and my family wanted joe crab shack Tuesday night.
We stopped places a fairly large order $140 and waited 40 mins to get it to go.
It was 8:51 when we received our food and the restaurant was closing at 9.
When we arrived home the order was short 1/2 pound of shrimp…. I tried to call knowing people would be in the restaurant Cleanning but there was no answer
The next morning, the manager was extremely rude and said he could not and would not refund my $12 and that it should of been taken care of the night before. I've never had this bad of service from a business ever in my life.
I'll be rating this business monthly until I'm tired of rating it.

Joe's Crab Shack Food poisoning

Ate here 07/16/2021 ordered over $150 of food and got completely sick, according the CDC's website I had all the symptoms of food poisoning and was severely sick.
I called to let the business know two days later and the manager Jaime's first response was "food poisoning doesn't start until 8 hours later so it must have been what you ate earlier" according to the CDC's website it does not take 8 hours but I was taken aback by the response I immediately received instead of something along the lines of "I'm sorry to hear that happened". We argued back and fourth a bit until she came to the conclusion she would "do some research and get back to me". I never heard back for over a week so when I called back to ask the status of the said "research" I was told my case was forwarded to HR and they would deal with me.
Corporate did call me back today 7/27/2021 at 6pm to let me know there is nothing they can do and are not even willing to refund the item that made me so severely sick. I had a great experience, tipped over 20% and ended up very ill in which the company refused to even say sorry for my experience let alone refund the whole meal that left my body from food poisoning. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I received once I got so sick.
The waitress was amazing and the experience inside the restaurant was wonderful but I am sad to say my military family and I will not be supporting such a disrespectful and non compassionate business ever again.

We ordered 2 crab buckets, 1 mussel plate, 1 clam plate and drinks.

Joe's Crab Shack Service complaint

On July 3rd at Garden Grove location we went to had a 45-60 min wait. No problem, we love Joe's Crab Shack. We gave them our phone number and waited out front. No one contacted us after over n hour we finally went in to find out what the problem was and got seated and ignored for a good 20 min not even water or a drink order. Finally he took order and many items were unavailable, fine we change it and they still barely come on service. Got food and a few ohs yeah we are doing it's and a bartender came to tell us we're going to be served after 2 1/2 hours at this place we missed any local fireworks which was the plan. :/ Then just for kicks I used the bathroom DIRTY BTW with no paper, no soap available container was broke into by someone trying to wash hands it was unusable when I tried to get soap out (or hand sanitizers :/ This is just too much...

Desired outcome: Compensation for wasted 120.00
