Ate here 07/16/2021 ordered over $150 of food and got completely sick, according the CDC's website I had all the symptoms of food poisoning and was severely sick.
I called to let the business know two days later and the manager Jaime's first response was "food poisoning doesn't start until 8 hours later so it must have been what you ate earlier" according to the CDC's website it does not take 8 hours but I was taken aback by the response I immediately received instead of something along the lines of "I'm sorry to hear that happened". We argued back and fourth a bit until she came to the conclusion she would "do some research and get back to me". I never heard back for over a week so when I called back to ask the status of the said "research" I was told my case was forwarded to HR and they would deal with me.
Corporate did call me back today 7/27/2021 at 6pm to let me know there is nothing they can do and are not even willing to refund the item that made me so severely sick. I had a great experience, tipped over 20% and ended up very ill in which the company refused to even say sorry for my experience let alone refund the whole meal that left my body from food poisoning. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I received once I got so sick.
The waitress was amazing and the experience inside the restaurant was wonderful but I am sad to say my military family and I will not be supporting such a disrespectful and non compassionate business ever again.
We ordered 2 crab buckets, 1 mussel plate, 1 clam plate and drinks.
Desired outcome: Refund and apology of rude service
