I was shopping at the JCPenney on Sunday, December 13th, 2020 at the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, WA in the lingerie department. Me and my friend were around the panty area trying to look for sizes and colors going back and forth between the tables with drawers and those that only had table displays and there was a sales associate there working. She didn't assist us which was fine.
But, she did look at us perhaps annoyed asking if we needed help and I needed a size and she said if you don't see it's not there and walks over to tell us that the sizes are already organized and not to mess it up and starts to refold everything next to me and I am standing next to her standing at the table counting the panties in hand as I needed 7 to get the $30 deal and looking at my selections, I felt the drawer in front me me slam into my body. I let out a loud ouch and she said "Sorry" in the most unconcerned way and walked away. I was standing in front of the table and for that drawer to slam into lower stomach. That was extremely rude and uncalled for. She didn't ask me to move but decided to do that instead.
I did not catch her name but she is of Indian descent I believe and we were shopping in that area before 6 p.m. because we rang up our purchases at the counter before 6 p.m. when we walked out of the store. I would have to say we were shopping in the panty area before 5:30? I can't recall exactly. I only remember it took us awhile to search for what we wanted.
Please look into this incident and have a talk with your sales associate. No one should have to deal with this bad customer service.
Thank you,
Lily Nguyen
