JC Penney review: Credit due

on June 30, 2026 I ordered some curtains in inadvertently I put the incorrect address. When I called Customer Service they said it was too late even though it was the same day. I believe that I noted my error and wanted them to put a different address. They said they couldn’t do that because they’re locked out of the ability to do that after a short period of time. I had already purchased the item and it was necessary for me to go out and cancel it and they said my gift card would be credited. It has yet to be credited. I have called at least four times and talked to different people. I thought I finally got somebody decent the third call and he said he would be putting it on their system so that they would notify me when I was reimbursed. Well, it was a couple weeks and I still didn’t get any notice. I called again a couple days ago and we went through the whole rigmarole again and the young lady said she would put notations and it should be back in my account in the meantime, I did want to re-order these curtains however, today I just purchased other ones because I couldn’t wait any longer. I was also concerned you might run out of them I wasted so much time calling your Customer Service who couldn’t do anything to help me and I am yet to get my money back on my JCPenney gift card. I live in Rochester New York, but I’m leaving out of town Friday August. 7th until August 18 by then I would appreciate if I could get my card credited. I know. it was over $100. Please rectify the situation. You probably will see my card number and pin on the notes in your website. I would hope if your Customer Service made that notation.
