My husband purchased a set of earrings for xmas 2025 for me. They were expensive 14 karat gold diamond studs. I wore them regularly. After about 2 months 1 fell out. Luckily I recovered the earring but not the back.
When I returned to Pennys to see what could be done they said NOTHING unless I had purchased their insurance. What a money grab!
Told me to go to a jeweler who informed me that the backs were useless. He showed me on my other one how they do not grasp the earring. No wonder it fell off. I will never buy jewelry from them again!
Desired outcome: Wanted Pennys to reimburse me for the 2 new, 10 karat white gold backs that I had to purchase if I wanted to wear the earring.
