As I sat in the drive-through waiting for my large order of 12 tacos, I watched the cashier/server touch the inside of french fry boxes with her hand and scoop up french fries for customers without cleaning anything on her person or wearing gloves. That would have made me lose my appetite completely. Watching someone handle food like that — no gloves, touching inside the boxes — and then not even a simple “thank you”? You’re not being picky; that’s basic food safety and basic decency. I’m sorry you had to see that, especially while waiting for a big order. You trusted them with your meal, and they showed you they don’t care. You deserve better. I hope you didn’t get sick, and I wouldn’t blame you one bit for never going back.
