• Service Center: Peringhat Motors, Aluva, Kerala
Chronology of Events
1. On 03 November 2025, before 2day riding few kilometres bikes engine get heated and fan running continuously next day warning light visible on 2 nd day I brought my motorcycle to Peringhat Motors alva due to engine overheating, radiator fan running continuously, and warning light illumination, requesting inspection of the cooling system as the primary concern.
2. Despite repeated visits, no written diagnosis was provided for weeks. On 22 November 2025, I personally observed that the engine head, cylinder, and piston were dismantled without any written authorization or confirmation of spare-part availability.
3. On the same date (22/11/2025), I paid total amount of 8000 rupees on November as advance, supported by official receipt. A rough estimate was handwritten and pinned to the job card. At this stage, no damage to the water pump case was reported or recorded.
4. In January 2026, I was informed verbally that the coolant water pump case is broken and needs replacement. This critical issue was never documented earlier in the job card or estimates.
5. The servicing technician verbally admitted that while removing a jammed water seal using a screwdriver, an existing minor crack expanded due to applied pressure, causing the failure. This indicates service-induced damage.
6. Subsequently, I was informed verbally that the coolant pump case is “discontinued” and no solution is available. No written confirmation, Yamaha circular, or supersession note has been provided till date.
