IHOP Restaurant server service and manager's attitude of disrespect.

I am a military veteran, senior citizen, and my wife and guest are also senior citizens with eight daughters between them and no sons. My wife also has 11 granddaughters. The female server accused my wife of making fun of her pregnancy after our guest told the waitress that her service was poor.

A senior citizen is likely to give feedback in the effort to help a young person and for no other reason. I would have said, “Thank you, I thought I was doing my best.” This would help my tip.

It does not make sense that a senior citizen female, with five daughters and 11 granddaughters would make fun of a young woman because she is pregnant. I do not know what else the server told her manager, but the manager came out and immediately, began verbally attacking us. She refused to listen to anything we had to say, demanded we leave, and threatened to call the police. I kept asking her to listen to me but she refused, and we left.

The fact is that we are also African Americans, and I suspect that had something to do with the way we were treated. As long-time customers of IHop in Louisville, KY, Chicago, IL, and Houston, TX, my wife, and I deserve an apology.

IHOP Bill

I was at the Wallingford CT IHOP on 12/7 for breakfast with two other people. I wanted to use my pan points as well as one other person and was told no, only one per table, which we were fine with. I used mine. When the bill came, they split "my" pan points with the other two people, so my meal (or part of it) was not fully redeemed. This was unfair to me as I earned the points, not them! We were told by the waiter that we could only use "one pan point app" per table which we were fine with, but what was not fine was that the person's pan points (which they earned - me) was split on the bill between the 3 of us. I used 20 pan points that day and they reaped the benefits of it! Then, we were also told we could only do one check per table, but gave use a print out of what each of us owed separately and, yes, my pan points were split onto theirs. So I feel I lost my pan points and had to pay a much higher price for my meal. Let me ask, what if I didn't have all the money? I would of had to ask one of them to cover me because what I thought was "free and earned" on my part wasn't?! This is a very unacceptable way to do business.

Claimed loss: $15.00 and my pan points!

Desired outcome: Refund of my meal and my pan points.

IHOP The manager @ store # 4478 it Veterans Day she was very disrespectful.

We had a list going with names for the Veterans to get a table she threw it away she was rude $ disrespectful. This was my first time eating at this ihop and last College Dr is very pleasant. My waiter was Chris he was amazing he tried to smooth it over he was the reason We stayed. She handle the stuff horrible everyone is not meant to be in charge. It was stressful but she represented the company and it was not a good look.

Claimed loss: 19.75 for my meal and it was not worth being miserable and mistreated.

IHOP Waiter and hostess

The waiter with short dark hair asked me how I was doing while I was eating my meal. I said that "you do not have to shout loud enough for the customers in the next row to hear." the lady hostess /greeter with the red hair kept looking/staring at me as if she was trying to make me feel that I was not welcomed there.

IHOP incorrect order

I placed an order that was delivered by DoorDash and my order was not complete, I ordered a side o sausage links and they gave me bacon which I do not eat and my hash browns were missing. I called the store to let the manager know and he told me to call the driver for them to come back or if I wanted a refund. I told him I wasn’t calling the driver and wanted a refund, he put me on hold and after about 5 minutes I hung up and when I tried calling back they had taken the phone off the hook because I tried for almost 10 minutes calling back to a busy signal

IHOP Food service & customer service

Good morning,

I would like to share my concerns about the service received at one of your stores located at 11710 Morris Bridge Road Temple Terrace (36-180). First, this store needs a professional chief brought in to train your staff who is preparing the meals for the customers. The elderly man that is cooking cannot keep up with the orders given causing food to be under cooked and not prepared safely. Second, the window that the food sits on while waiting for service to the customer is too high for the service staff to reach. Also, food is waiting in the window too long which become cold, and the service staff is having to return meals constantly back to the window to heat up. Third, service staff are constantly complaining about having to return food that is cold on several occasion. Fourth, this store need Customer Service Training blow ups is bad for business which can hurt in the long run with your reviews. Also, I have a deep concern about the service staff needing hair nets to cover long hair that is also seen hanging around the food served. Please send management to this store to correct the issues. I am in hopes that your address these concerns so that myself and others the consumers can enjoy coming out for a dynamic breakfast.

IHOP Food

It smells like a we dog in the restaurant.. I’m here to have a heart transplant and wanted to eat my favorite before surgery… which was there pancakes.. I reach to pour the syrup it’s nothing but water and syrup… I asked the waitress to taste the syrup she replied that’s exactly what it’s water and syrup.. it’s like the diluted the syrup with water… the waitress continues to bring me a total of 5 different syrup.. all the same. Management did not come out when I asked to speak with them they just told her to remake my meal.. there wasn’t a point in remaking the meal if the syrup wasn’t right.. they was not busy at all for the manager not to come out to see what a customer wants it was my husband and I and 2 other guys in the whole ihop.she did not want to refund me my money.. but the kind waitress removed the meal because she knew it wasn’t being handled right by management… this date visited was September 18 around 10:30 my husband had the steak mean and I had pancakes and a burger.

IHOP The fruit

I've been a customer for 15 plus years of the store 25619 I-45 North in Woodlands TX. I've never had a complaint until now. 2 weeks in a row I've eaten breakfast. Not wanting pancakes i got fruit instead. It was the only thing I had both weeks that was the same. I got sick 2 weeks in a row. Diarrhea and Nausea both weeks. IHOP Sirloin Tips

Yesterday I ordered the Sirloin Tips because I am Keto and meat is safe on my way of eating.

I was very shocked when the first bite tells me that there is sugar on them, lots of sugar. I spoke with a manager about this and he showed me the ingredients and sugar was the first one.

I'm very disappointed that IHOP is sneaking unhealthy ingredients into their meals and not posting this on the menu. There are lots of diabetics and people who cannot eat sugar and they should be aware if this is in items that NORMALLY don't have sugar in them. What else do you put sugar in that doesn't normally have sugar?

We would like to think that we can make good choices when we eat out and IHOP is no longer on my list of safe places to eat.

Desired outcome: If the food item is sweet, then post that on the title: "Sweet sirloin tips"I know the word is getting around that you put pancake batter in your omelets, and this is good. We can choose not to order these or ask to not put batter in.

IHOP Service

IHOP opened a new store in Fond du lac, Wisconsin recently. I was very excited about this opening since there are few restaurants that service sit down breakfast in the area. I also really LOVE IHOP food. This new store is deplorable. I don't know who is managing it but the service is terrible. Waitresses just standing around talking while customers do not get served. My daughter and I waited over 45 minutes for an omelet and a BLT with french fries. When it came it was obvious that it had been sitting under heat lamps for a long time; toast was dried up, etc. We were only ONE of THREE tables in the entire restaurant, I can see why. It is obvious the manager, if she was there at all, has a handle on how to get her people to do their jobs. If this doesn't improve soon, this store will not make it.

Desired outcome: Improved service. I would like to see this restaurant suceed!!

IHOP burnt pancakes, and bacon

we ate at ihop on Friday July 14th in the afternoon the restaurant was not busy when our server brought our food out my husband's bacon was burnt and my pancakes were black ok we tell our server and he just looks at us like were stupid and walks off my husband attempted to tell him he didn't get his toast now he did not bring his toast until after he ate like we don't need it now needless to say we asked for our ticket paid $33 left black pancakes and toast on the table with no tip. service sucked [censored]. As well as the food I have never had a issue with this location and surely never expected our server to be so rude this was the location across from the mall. I definitely will not ever be back since there are other optional breakfast restaurants in Tyler, Texas

IHOP The Manager of Layton Utah Jason Shup

Are local church Faith Baptist had Paid for special birthday promos for the birthday month...I was going to use it for a stack of pancakes to try out Ihop for the first time...But Jason Shup put a end to that...He told his waitress he never heard of it and I asked to talk to him...he told her I can make a appointment tomorrow to talk to him...I anticipate a follow up with me...Thanks Dave..
