Worst company ever, calling them a scam artist would be giving them credit they do not deserve, we had the best plan they offered, call them on our air conditioner, they sent out three technicians. At three different times, charged us $75 each time. In the end they said they could not cover the air conditioner because someone had removed the expansion valve, the repair would have been 3,500, we wound up replacing the unit, a couple of months later we developed a leak in our swimming pool pump, call choice home warranty they told us it was put in with PVC pipe, and that is a modification that they do not cover. We explain to them that the valve is PVC, and all the plumbing in every pool in the country is done in PVC, so after paying them $75 for the service call. They denied repair, I took the handle off the valve and replaced a $0.39 o-ring. Problem solved, next they renewed our contract without notifying us, and increased it by $30 a month. For what! I would not give them the time of day, as of now. And I would advise anyone looking for a home warranty plan, to do your due diligence. Do not rely on the better Business bureau, due to the fact that choice home warranty has the highest rating at 9.8. I do not know if they are on the take, but I would research on warranty companies.
