I put in a claim for an air conditioner issue in mid summer and waited weeks only for them to tell me they do not have any technicians in my area and I could not use the coverage. Despite this, I did try to use the coverage for another brand new appliance that needed servicing and had similar results. When I expressed that I would not be renewing my coverage, they continued called me over 30 times over the course of 2 months asking me to renew. I spoke to multiple individuals, asking to be taken off the call list, but was eventually told that was impossible, and I will continue to be contacted. I now feel like I am being harassed by Choice home warranty. I don’t exaggerate when I say they have filled my voicemail inbox. Unfortunately every time I get a call it’s from a different number so it’s impossible to block.
I beg you, please do not sign up for this home warranty unless you enjoy paying for service that you can never use and then having to field an absurd amount of calls when you decide not to continue with it.
