H-E-B review: Angry service manager at HEB store in Alvin Texas due to a simple expired item on 022223

Todays date 022223 Issue occurred at approximately, 1:40 p.m. on 02/20/23 at HEB in Alvin Texas 77511. I am complaining about the new relatively young disrespectful service manager, at the HEB at 207 E. South Street in Alvin Texas. It was a simple exchange of one package of recently, expired brand new unopened pack of turkey, not a refund. The HEB service manager, Drew quickly, says no and puts it in the garbage can. I had to ask him to please give it back to me. Way too much attitude for a service manager in a small community in Alvin Texas. Not a refund, etc but a simple exchange for a new pack. I have not had a issue returning an expired product. This was a couple of day old expired, unopened brand new unused package of turkey sandwich meat. I have not had a problem in the numerous years of shopping at this HEB, since the 1980's and other HEB locations nearby in Friendswood Tx which has a perfect record and is a model store for the Alvin Tx location. I went to the Friendswood Texas HEB and they quickly replaced their product, that came from the HEB in Alvin Texas. The HEB in Friendswood Texas is a store with excellent leadership another community outside of Alvin Texas. Please advise Concerned customer Kent Villarreal
